In a startling event this moring five citizens of the Tandu Empire broke into a trade port above Tandu IV and opened fire on a crowd of Tandu and Human traders present in the area with plasma weapons.
At present the estimated death toll is twenty three humans (its hard to tell what belongs to who) and four Tandu. Unfourtunatly the Imperial Security Forces could only arrive after the slaughter was finished, the terrorists had sealed the primary entrances to the area with their rifles and had set a number of explosive traps.
It is thought that the terrorists were Anti-Human protestors and that Tandu casualties were incidental or that they were killing 'infidels' as well.
The Tandu High Council has not yet issued a statement.
At present the nationality of the tradespeople is not known, if nations would provide lists of ships in port at the time we will attempt to determine it.
Any ships not claimed will be claimed by the Tandu govornment as its property.
