Today at 1:34 p.m. there was a mineworker's strike in South province near the town of Deloris.
*The screen shows protesters holding up signs saying such things as "Higher pay or no work today!"*

The protest was deemed to be a disturbance of the peace- a serious offence in The Mighty Quin. 20 elite troops were ordered to quell the protest by any means necessary. The person placed in command of the troops with the aid of a mega phone is quoted as to have said: "Move out now or you will be nuetralized. Move out now."

At this some of the protesters retreated, but the majority stayed as the were and actually grew more violent. At this the Elite Troops took an aim at a rather burly man on top of a car with a sign. Each of them shot at him, causing most of his body to be burned beyond recognition. This silenced the protesters for a moment, who then became even more unruly, shouting things such as "Down with The Mighty Quin!". A person who appeared to be rallying them was then shot in the chest leaving a charred area on his chest. At this some of the crowd retreated, others however, surged forward. The few who charged were but down by the wrist scythes on the Elite Troops suits. Finally the troops began opening fire on the retreating crowd. When it was over the people dead was at 26 and the people injured was at 54.
