OOC: Sonic will enter near the end of the RP-I will be running him.

Eggman sat looking intreagued as the swirling vortex cancelled.

"GAAHHHHHH! Who are you? ...Sonic! NO! How dare you interfere! Wait... you're not Sonic!"

"Greetings Dr Eggman. Do not be surprised to see me. My name is Shadow, and I am the worlds Ultimate Life form. I have a proposal to make with you."

"Heh heh heh... what exactly do you have in mind?"

An officer Approached Vice-admiral Striker, 'Sir, you have knew orders.'

The officer passed him a datapad, which he read, 'Why aren't we pursueing this Robotnik guy?' He asked. the officer replied, 'The King will send another fleet soon. However, this research with the Shadows is our main concern now... with all due respect sir.'

'Very well. I shall retrun to my ship' He replied.

Back on the MDC Explorer

'Hail all ships in this sector, I suggest you leave this sector within 30 minutes. Although, we understand that you are not hostile, you inside our space. If in the next hour, you are still here, your ships are at risk of being fired upon. Good bye.'

With this, the fleet swung about, and, minutes later entered Hyperspace.

What is the problem? Simply, I intended for me to write myself (Well, this fleet anyway) and striker out of this RP to go the Research thread yesterday However, I forgot to post him out yesterday, so it is probably why he appears in two placres at the sametime. It's that what is confusing you?

Shadow gave a minor smile, and drew a turquoise gem from behind him. A Chaos Emerald!

"I believe you seek these... I will help you get hold of the last Emerald, as well as give you this one, as long as you help me complete one task-I wish for you to help me aquire the Master Emerald..."

Shadow started tossing the Emerald like a coin.

"Do we have a deal?"

OOC: Less Yapping, more RP'ing people.

IC: Eggman noticed the Chaos Emerald and smiled.

"Deal! I was hoping to aquire the Master Emerald eventually anyway. Now throw me that Emerald, so I can increase the power of the Egg Cruiser! Then we can get the next Emerald with ease!"

"Doctor, can we trust him?"

"Probably not, but we can always keep an eye on him, and dispose of him if he causes trouble."

A Mi-26 Halo Heavy Transport helicopter flew over the Roshenberg base and landedon one of the abadoned helipads. A group of crack Bio-Chemists exited and moved down into the base. When they arrived at the lab they heaved the Master Emerald over to a Bio-Tank... and used the crane to put it inside the toxic chemicals. They observed what happened to the emerald throughn the tanks clear specialty glass.

Shadow looked grim as the two characters wispered to each other.

"If you are quite finished, here you go Eggman."

Shadow tossed the Emerald to Eggman. "Now Teleport us to the Emerald and let's get it! With all 7 Emeralds we will be unstopable... then we shall have no trouble getting the Master Emerald, with which nothing can stop us!"

Shadow leaned against a post, and folded his arms.

Back in 1 1/2 hours-I have a lesson.

Eggman inserted the next Emerald into the slot.

"MWAHAHAHA! Next stop-The last Emerald!"

The Egg Cruiser only flashed breifly, then they were gone.

OOC: Ok Chronosia, wherever your Emerald is, your ship should detect an energy spike.

OOC: The Emerald is physically with Lucian on the Moleland ship; and he'll fight for it

IC: Lucian was wracked with sudden and delightful pain as the Emerald hummed and hissed in his palm; as he whirled; his great scythe, oozing with the corruption of Father Nurgle's throne; mighty Manreaper of human wheat, spinning and readied for action.
"The...Power...." He hissed through clenched teeth.
"GIVE ME THIS POWER!"

OOC: Very well... I suppose I'll have to kill him then...

IC: The Egg Cruiser appeared in a brief flash of light. Eggman tapped his console.

"Give me a location, where are we?"

Eggman turned to Shadow.

"You will acompany me to wherever we will end up going... Our mission is simple-get the Emerald, and get out. Once we have finished, we shall collect the Master Emerald for you."

Focussing his Psyker powers through the Gem, Lucian whirled on the carrier as it appeared. "So, the puppetmaster shows his strings." He forced his conciousness forward; a blast of energy fuelled by the hate and rage deep within the Emerald; screaming as he pushed with all the disease laden psychic force of Nurgle and then lunged; Scythe raised high. Around him , Plague Marines opened fire with heavy bolter rounds; as one prepared a rocket blast..

OOC: Wait a sec-The idea of this RP is for Eggman to get all the Emeralds, then we have a cool ending... It doesn't matter if he survives, as long as you let Eggman gain posession of the Emerald.

"I hope you know what you are doing... Robot! Install the rest in the Egg Walker! We shall board that ship and capture the Emerald!"

"Go on ahead Shadow, track down the Emerald and report back to me. I will follow when you have located the Emerald."

Eggman headed down to the Cargo bay, where the Egg Walker was located.

"Very well doctor... I suppose it makes sense."

Shadow held the Red Emerald, and lifted it above his head. Shadow had been enhanced by his creator, to use Chaos control to full effect, and faster.

"Chaos Control Now!"

Shadow was quickly transported from the Egg Cruiser over to the Craft. Shadow then darted down the corridor, looking for the Emerald...

Imperial Navy's side:

"Admiral! Energy reading at the following co-ordinates!"

Shadow vanished before Lucian even got near him. He rematerialised behind Lucian.

"heh... You really are pathetic. I have the ability to call Chaos control at will... Please, just hand over the Emerald and lets avoid this trouble... Fighting with you is a waste of my time."

Shadow slowly paced around Lucian, a small smile on his face.

With a sudden flash the Egg Walker materialised into the room. Rapidly, it began to transform, sprouting arms, legs, a head, and a control bay... it was huge.

"Mwahaha! Behold, the Eggsterminator! Now hand over that Emerald, you vile Pussball!"

The Eggsterminator started to pace forwards.

"Shadow! Enough chit-chat-Get that Emerald!"

Lucian reached to his belt and withdrew a grenade; backing off as he hurled it forward.
"Then come and claim it, vile Egg!" He hissed; his eyes blazing with energy....It was as though hellfire seized his veins, burning him with madness and chaos...

IC: Shadow nodded, and disapeared. In a flash he was in front of Lord Lucian, Snatching the Emerald from his person. In another blink of the eye, he was already on the other end of the room, smirking while playing catch with the Emerald...

"Quick! Let's get out of here and back to Earth! then we can use your Chaos Emeralds!"

Eggman's vehicle now also vanished from sight, back to the Egg Cruiser.

"Quick! Place all the Emeralds in the console-give the ship ultimate power!"

"Yes doctor!"

The servitor droid quickly installed the Emeralds into the console.

"NOW! back to Earth to carry out the final stage of my plan!"

OOC: Tomorrow will be the coolest RP of your lives... if everything works out, at the end everyone who participated will be left with a Chaos Emerald each...

The stench of chaos sifted through the universe towards Shadow space, it was like putting blood in shark infested water. It made the Shadows figuratively drool in antipation... already fifty Battlecrabs were following Dr. Eggman's every move but they sensed a new and more powerful creature with him... but no matter they would take the Emeralds for themselves.

In addition 200 Overlords filled with Dryal warriors had arrived... the Shadows would take these Emeralds and their Eggish guardians. They would be their greatest triumph ever since the first Battlecrab and screamed into the sky...

"NOW! back to Earth to carry out the final stage of my plan!"

Shadow looked at Eggman and smiled.

"Don't forget, you still owe me the Master Emerald, Eggman."

"Patience Shadow! We shall use the Emeralds to get the Master Emerald!"

Eggman paced over to the Console, removing the Emeralds from their slots.

"According to ancient legends, once gathered the holder of the Chaos Emeralds becomes all powerful!"

He held the 7 Emeralds, as they glowed from the proximity of each other.

"Hmm... But how do we tap into the power?"

Shadow began to glow a bright yellow, and a flash of light overtook the room. Shadow began to power up in the light...

When it subsided, Shadow looked different... he was... gold.

"Now I am unstopable... Come Doctor, I now can sense the Master Emerald... I know where it is... Help me, and the Emeralds will be all yours, and the Master Emerald will be mine..."

Lucian turned to the others.
"Follow them; they head for earth and I can sense their taint....Sense their power; they seek the greatest of all, the Master, the ruling Emerald, take us there and we shall end his plot. The fool will burn in infernal fires before the night is out"

OOC: This is the plan everyone, so listen up! Try to get your main characters all into the military base where the Master Emerald is kept-there we shall have our final battle.

"Very good. Let us go to the Master Emerald. Together, we shall conquer this world!"

OOC:You will start on the outside of the base and work your way to the bottom floor(a majority of the base is underground) and then try to work your way out. My nation is going to try to kill or capture both sides. So its gonna be a three way battle.

It'll have to be very deep then-Shadow is VERY fast in Super form.

Its ten floors down... there is no elevator. each set of stairs goes down one floor and then you have to go down the hallway to get to the next flight. Also the base is equipped with blast doors capable of withstanding a nuclear shockwave.(but these are only activated when the base goes into a lockdown)

OOC: Gotcha.

IC: Shadow blasted across the water just above the surface, his energies allowing him to merely glide forward at superspeed. He focused on his target, a military base holding the Master Emerald...

"This will be tough... but I am the Ultimate Life form... and I will not be stopped!"

Underwater in the water surrounding the base, were mines... lots and lots of mines, and Shadow was heading straight for them.

OOC:The mines are to discourage coming in via the water. It has the disadvantage of making the only way to supply the base is via air. But Red Tide is a large and rich nation, so it can afford it.

And? I'm still not even near the water, so the mines won't go off, besides, I'm trying to rush along this RP as I'm going away tomorrow. I'd like to get to the final battle.

The Egg Cruiser began to drop Egg Bombs on the water, Causing detonations from the mines, and slowly pushing forward.

"I will clear a gap Shadow, then you head through it."

Radar detected Eggmans viechle. Every single SAM emplacement homed in on him and opened up with heatseeking and radar guided missiles.

It was no good. Eggman had expected this sort of thing, and loaded the vessel with countermeasures. Eggman replied by firing all laser cannons and missiles at the attacking SAM sites...

"Nothing will stop me! Nothing!"

Dammit I have to go. WE WILL FINISH THIS TOMORROW, REGARDLESS OF WHO IS HERE.
