Around five years ago, we announced to the world that we were starting a revolutionary project that uses electro-magnetic energy as a power source. Well, as of today, the two main plants on Der Vatterland were completed. Around 10am this morning, the final power from the nuclear plants before they were shutdown was used to start the molten-nickel pumping turbines. It was a succes. The entire nation is now running off of the two EM Plants. It truely is a great day for the Confederacy and the Commonwealth alike. Nuclear fission via Uranium ore was a safe energy source in the 1990's. Until during late 2000 when in the former USA, several reactors blew due to untreated damage after the revolution by the Mississippians. Then, the Technological Advancemant Directorate (Branch of the Technology and Sciences Directorate) began researching safer and clearn methods.

OOC: Like I said. I'm watching you now to infringe on the copyright. I respect and expect you not to infringe on it by creating an exact copy of the EMR's and just naming it something else, creating and exact copy, or using somethign that uses molten nickel over a lodestone/iron/etc., because then, the KSS (Komitee Fur Statliche Sicherheit = Committee For State Security) will be very displeased.

ooc: actually i've been around a little while, but after several significant changes in my life i needed to focus more on other things and thus my nation died of inactivity, now i'm back. but thanks either way, nice to be noticed.
