The year is 1940, so that would explain the extra nations and the fact the USSR is Allied. This is made for those ppl who wanted to play in the other one, and for those who might find this interesting. Yes I'll admit to copying the list of nations from the other WWII Thread, but its not like he made them up thus I can not get in trouble for it. If you want a Nation added, please post Historical Facts to support why. After we start, you can do anything with your nation. Like if your a Allied nation, you can go Axis. But doing so, you'd have to make sure your forces wern't near any other troops and etc etc etc...and you have to RP it thoroughly. You can't just jump in and say ' I, PRESIDENT OF THE USA, AM NOW AXIS ' in the middle of Normandy lol. But you can post your 2 cents on what you think of that idea. Anyways, unlike in real life, the Axis doesn't have to lose, you can...win :-).

And remember this:

THIS DOESN'T HAVE TO BE LIKE THE REAL WWII. AXIS CAN END UP TAKING OVER A NATION LIKE THE USSR OR USA OR W/E. BUT IT DEPENDS ON HOW THE RP GOES.

The RP rules are enforced here heavily. If you are constantly leeting, noobing or godmodding...you'll be ignored and replaced by someone else, or the nation will simply fall.

Also keep in mind that there will be atleast 5 People wanting the USA or USSR. There were mulitple fronts these nations faced, like the Finnish Front ( USSR ), Stalingrad Offensive to Berlin ( USSR ), Beach Invasion ( Most of the Allies, USA ), African Front - Italian Front ( Italy, USA, UK, Germany )... And so on. We ask of you to know quite a lot of World War II, if you're a complete idiot as of what happened and etc, you will not be accepted.

( Note: I only know mostly about Italy and Germany, so I'll be missing some stuff to add in here. You may claim more then one now, since not many people are joining. I think it might be better that Someone is USA, someone is UK and so on...and not those Fronts. Because I wanted it to be leaders of countrys, not Generals. And I wanted to flex this to the point that like the UK could ally Germany, or get taken over by Germany. Also, I guess you can split a nation with someone, like Normandy Beach Defences and Stalingrad to Berlin can be 2 sperate German things, but they talk to each other if they should like ally America or war Italy or w/e. )

i.e. German occupied France, German occupied Poland, Japanese occupied China, etc.

I'd like to take a crack at Japanese Troops in the Pacific. Why don't you have any listings of UK or US troops in the Pacific though? Technically Australia, New Zealand, India, and most of the Islands were under Commonwealth or Allied Control until Japan took parts of them. And the US was really the second biggest part of the Pacific Front in WWII.

Anyway, yeah, I'd like to be Pacific Japanese Troops, and I would be willing to cover for the Asian Japanese Troops if nobody joins that spot.

OOC: I think its a good idea, letting players co-own a nation. However it might get hectic as everybody is going to want to play USA, USSR and Germany. I am one of the rare few who really liked the Japanese in the war methinks.

And as another thing, Japan doesn't technically enter the war until December 7th 1941. It reached the peak of its empire in 1942, so I'll have pretty much nothing to do in 1940, as will nobody else.

I think you should just start it in early 1939 personally and let us all go from there, each person controlling a nation. That would leave a bunch of nations open for people to play (like Czechoslovakia and France), and increase the intensity in the war in my opinion. Who knows what could happen if the war started with everybody jumping in?

That's just what I would do in your position though, you run it however you want to run it. If you need any help with the maps and administration, please just let me know.

I like his idea but I hate the sharing of nations....I just think it`ll become crazy no reason but it just doesn`t sound like a good idea....or if you are gunna do it make it only 2 nations taking 1 country cause then their are like a east and west front and one person takes east one takes west....up to you cause your the creator but oh well

OOC: Ok since we have a germany im gunna start off the RP with my defence agenst Germany. Ok also my history might not be accurate cause I really dont remember dates as well as others =-P but bare with me :p

The Russian front was being pushed back. It seemed that germany was a stronger enemy then they thought they would be. Their rifles would creat a constant sound among the retreating lines. The casualties were increasing as Joseph Stalin recieved letter after letter of his troops retreats. It seemed they were falling back to Stalingrad a city that up untill now had been untouched by infantry feet. The city now in 1940 is ablaze in german bombings. The Russians who fought so hard to protect this city had lost their lives. Germans had now occupied Stalingrad and the Russians had to reply the German betrayle with somthing big. The recapture of Stalingrad was to be that event. Throught 1940 Russian troops were being trained in secret. A large force of Russian snipers, usually women, were being trained and the invasion of Stalingrad was to commence in 1941 that is if Germany doesn`t push forward. Stalin stood on his balcony and stared out into the snow. He had wished to be alone and his gaurds reconized his wish.

OOC: If more people don't show up, I think I'm going to end up starting this on my own. You can't have an RP with just Russia and Japan...well you could, but it would be very short and boring.

I'll RP as the UK. I'm new though, so I might be crap.

If you know what RP and basic grammar is, which I believe you do, you are better than most people who would come to things like this and post.

I started mine a long while ago, didn't even see this post. Germany is taken sorry, but there are others you could peek at still. Spain, Greece, Norway, Sweden and a few others I won't go into details about.
