One of our prototype Pegasus MACs is for sale. A MAC or Magnetic Accelerator Cannon, fires a large projectile at near light speed up to 2000 miles. The Pegasus is the first self-propelled MAC not counting those mounted on ships. This allows it to move into a new position faster. The Pegasus can be mounted on most capitol ships or on a ring type orbital platform. The cannon itself has no defences due to the fact that when a MAC fires things in the immediate viscinity tend to become magnetized. The projectile types are HE, AP, or Shreder. Bids start at 50 million Taelons or approxamatley $25 million.
