IC: The 'conflict' had been going to for 5 years now, Never getting much news though.. It was basically forgotten by the civilian population, A war against rebels, A war against the inferior...
A LT. by the name of Gearheart ran over to a small hut, Where 5 soldiers were staying, "Peewee, Johnson, Perry" he said,
Perry(going to be the main charecter along with Peewee and Johnson..) looked at him and said
"What is it?"
"You boys are going home.." Lt.Gearheart told them.
Theyre faces were filled with shock, they havent been to the city in 5 years! Mainly because they kept extending there time there, Each of them had earned purple hearts.
Johnson got up and yelled
"I AINT GOING!" they all nodded, then Perry got up and told him
"We all put in for out extensions! Why cant we stay?!"
"Because... You cant... You can go back home and all request to be sent back to this very same unit, And why do you boys want to stay here anyway?!" Lt.Gearheart told them,
After the conversation ended, They packed there gear... Atleast they were going home together, They had no clue what 'the world' was going to be like,
Peewee blurted out "The second i get home.. Im taking a bath gettin a shave gettin laid and puttin in to get back over here!" A large grin became on there faces. They loaded up onto the transport along with some other guys they didnt know... They passed by where some of the new guys came in, In a way they all felt for them.. They couldnt have been more than 18 or 19, The new recruits looked at them, And saluted them.
"Theyre not gonna make it.." Peewee said.
"Now why would you say something like that?!" Perry was looking at him.
"You cant salute out here! We would be dead-meat if we wasnt so far out.."
They all fell asleep, It was a long time to get back to the capital, And when they did people stared at them... On the tickers they saw nothing about the war, Hell... There wasnt even anyone jumping up and down calling them heros like when they left,
"Well we got eachother man.." Johnson told them, "And not in no fag way so dont try and hump me!" He said, With a laugh of course.. It felt good to laugh for a change, When they arrived at the barracks they saw the recruits, Looking at them.. One went up to Peewee and said "How is the war?",
Peewee started at him and sarcastically said,
"Lovely... Just lovely.."
It had been a week, They then got the news.... They would be sent back again.
