Curtis Fabus Calls for World Conference, Various Issues
Decisive Action

Speaking from the Department of Internal Security building after a meeting, Attorney General Curtis Fabus issued a statement to the White Peoples Radio and Television Network, and several other networks, some foreign, which were then broadcast around the world.
"In this global world that we live in today, we must work together to build a world economy and society fit for all the citizens of the world. This may entail population controls, environmental regulations, world emissions treaties, peace pacts, non-aggression pacts, industrial accords, and various other agreements. Thus to help achieve these goals, I will be hosting a conference of concerned powers, in Fabus City on Fabus Island, in a short while. I will have exact details for those leaders interested, if they just call my office or go to the official site which is http://www.MississippianJusticeDepartment.gov, the number to call is listed on the site. Thank you."

Brother Hennings and Sister Baurani, but we ask that 2 guards be allowed to be sent with Lela Baurani, seeing as it is the first time we have sent a female representative to a foreign nation. Also, we have reason to fear for her safety.

Sir, with all due respect...
The Women in our country are required to dress modestly. Most of the women in our country are modest, respectful and hard working females dedicated to their holy father in heaven and their families. The information you received was false. However, we will make sure that Miss Baurani is as modest as possible. Thank you, despite your lack of helpfulness in this clothing related matter.

Iuthia may concider sending a representative to properly discuss matter of the International Community during this conference and to field the Iuthian point of view... however we would need assurances that they are not to be harmed by your own people as you have aquired a history of poor treatment of guests. Should our delegate somehow manage to offend yourselves we would expect them to be asked to leave upon which they will respectfully do so.
The delegate himself is a white man coming to the end of his twenties, any aides or unarmed security personel he brings along will also be white males. Of course, we could simply send our Ambassador, however we felt you would prefer someone more specialised in this field. We would accept swapping our delegate with our Ambassador and we imagine it would be easier to supply her with security and transport.
In anycase, these matters are up to yourselves and we can accept you wouldn't want an Iuthian presence in such an affair, however we can't accept any situation in which our people are at risk for giving their diplomatic point of view.

Mark Jameson (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v258/Iuthia/Characters/MarkJameson.jpg), the Iuthian representative, arrived rather unceremoniously in a private jet owned by an Iuthian air company. It wasn't really something Iuthia wanted publicity with and they didn't really expect much to come out of this conference, but it would make for interesting observations.
Mark didn't have any aides following him and security was rather loose with only a few un-armed security personnel coming along who would not be attending the conference itself, only to liaise with the security in Fabus City to assure Mark was safe.
He and his body guard submitted to all reasonable security checks which would be required of them in the International Airport, clearly known of them were carrying weapons and they were all white men with Mark himself wearing a Black suit with a blue shirt and a respectable tie. His hair was short and dark, almost military cut but not quite. He was a relatively young man in his late twenties, however his eyes were filled with a certain level of experience… he was on of the later results of the Iuthian Diplomatic Corps latest training program.

Curtis smiled and then smashed a club into the man's stomach, probably knocking the wind out of him. A dozen or so SRG trained their MP-5s on the rest of the Burnsian delegation, one man shouted, "The man who provoked the Attorney General is under arrest, just temporarily, the rest of you, proceed to the conference at once."
Curtis walked over and got into a limousine, where four guards were also present, the called for the rest of the TBD people to come to the limo as well.
The jet came to a full stop at the airport on Fabus Island. Andrew Krukina adjusted his suit. His body gaurd sat on the other side of him. As Andrew stepped off the plain and into the limo, he couldn't help but notice the expensives the Fabus family was going through to host this thing. Those racist gits...trying to butter us up so we go along with their little plans for everything, thought Andrew. Then again, he thought, I am a bit judgemental. Mabye Mrs. Cathrine is not a complete fool for sending me here. Hopefully, this confrence will acomplish something. He took a swig of vodka before stepping out of the limo and entering the hotel.

Well we know that's probably a bunch of bull. Vice President Krukina sighed. "Get me President Soma on the phone. This is her decision." The guard handed him a phone. "Hello, Cathrine. Uh uh. James leered at the SRG guardsmen. He knew full well what he had the power to do. It scared him, sort of, wielding that kind of power in a little cell phone. Looking around, he saw his BIOs keeping watch on each SRG in the car. Through their sunglasses, he could barely see their eyes moving, taking in their surroundings, finding escape routes, looking for weak points, arc of fire trails, everything that could possilby go wrong was going through their minds, and being planned out...
High Lady Alasse Órecalo looked out the window as the Eldanoran plane landed in Fabus City. She had pulled her blond hair back in a bun and was wearing a good suit, consisting of lavender satin skirt and jacket as well as her black blouse.
After the plane had come to a stop, she grabbed her stuff from the overhead storage compartment and stepped off the jet.

A Gulfstream Jet touched down with little fanfare, trundling down the runway in the avian form of haste. Its principal passenger was a young woman, blond hair ticked neatly into a functional bun and wearing a plain business suit covered with a long Navy overcoat inherited from her years in the Freethinker's senior service. Tall and atheletically strong, a result of genetic mods and steroid enhancements that was the cocktail given to every Freethinker military recruit, she was an imposing woman indeed.
And she was Commander Keira Longhorn, a title inherited from the days of the jacket that now clung to her shoulders. Moving down the plane's small gangway after it had parked, she moved towards the awaiting guards flanked by her own protection. Four members of the NIO's executive bodyguard unit, they were unarmed as such but carried the light protection suits under their crisp business style wardrobe. Walking in formation, Longhorn walked to meet her escort.

Arthur Zimmermann, the deputy Foreign Minister, landed at the airport along with Ten armed Præsillei Dei, and five cloaked figures with their staffs. The Præsillei Dei were instructed to escort the party until they were no longer allowed to proceed. The cloaked excorts were to be with Arthur Zimmermann at all times, and if Arthur was not allowed to have them follow, he was to report back to the Kremlin immediately.
Upon reaching the assigned Mississippian delegate (OOC: I know, I'm taking a few liberties. Hope you don't mind.), the Præsillei Dei stood at attention and waited for everything to be arranged. Arthur greeted the Mississippian delegate with a bow and a handshake.

The Minister of the Interior, Arthur Frick, was waiting to greet her, he extended his hand to shake, "Ma'am, welcome to Mississippi, you're here for the conference, yes? It's not too often we get the actual head of a foreign nation coming here. We usually get second in commands and such."

As soon as the cloaked men stepped off the plane, dozens of spotlights hit where the SRG officer pointed as his thermal goggles spotted the men and he shouted and pointed his hand in the general direction. The lights were designed to increase the chances of seeing the cloaked men if at a proper angle. There hundreds of rifles trained in their direction, even RPGs and MILANs, the sheer volume of weapons meant if something happened, they're surely get all five.
A major shouted at the diplomat, "Are you crazy, these men could be here to assassinate our leaders! Tell them to decloak now!"
She shook his hand. "Ah, no, no, I believe you're mistaken, I am the second in command of Eldanor. I apologise if I've confused you."

"To get approval those guards wanting to accompany your leaders must be present in our nation at the Department of Internal Security building and request an application, but they cannot request an application unless they are allowed to be here, and they cannot be here unless their application has been approved, but they cannot get an application unless being here."

Never mind about the guards then, that would be too much of a hassle. If guards could be provided, that would be quite helpful.

The car arrived at the hotel and Curtis stepped out, telling the others, "We're here..." The SRG slowly stepped out, keeping their MP-5s ready for any possible trouble.

Ooc- BIOs are probably not better than the SRG as the SRG are not only genetically enhanced, they have 10-20 years of combat experience on avg. At most, BIOs are equal, but not better. Define your definition of better? OOC: For now I'm assuming all the escorts for Mark and his two security people have made no ill comments towards him or his group in general. During the journey to the hotel he shows no disrespect and is formal in everything he does. This is not to be confused with being intimidated. It's just the man knows how to handle himself in the proper manner. If there are any comments then I would suggest RPing it otherwise I will assume everything is being done with respect... I only say that because when comments are made I have to RP a responce to it. Not that I'm encouraging it though.
With little incident, Iuthia's representative, Mark Peterson was escorted to the hotel in the appropriate vehicles. Due to lack of any real information about the other delegates he wasn't really aware of any of the abuses going on to other delegate so there was no real concern about something which they didn't know about.
Upon arrival, he signed in with the Mississippi Escort taking them all the way to the reception with their own papers to confirm that this was the Iuthian delegation.

Having signed in according to protocol, the Iuthian delegation were escorted to the conference room itself as others were already making their way. Mark Jameson (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v258/Iuthia/Characters/MarkJameson.jpg) was the only member of the group carrying a briefcase which had already been thoroughly searched and scanned by the security personnel at the airport. One of the guards would leave with the escorts to provide a form of security liaison with Mississippi security forces, while the other man was to go to the room which had been booked should the conference go on for longer the afternoon.
Mark himself looked to be the definition of cool, his breathing was calm and regular and he walked in the same smooth manner as you would expect from a feline. Entering the conference room he took his seet and gave a nod of aknowledgement to the others present as he took his seat marked by his name on a piece of paper, laying his breifcase on the floor.
His security personnel hadn't brought any weapons, they would be useless in anycase as they were surrounded by armed soldiers placed by the paranoid general. Weapons were not needed eitherway as quick talking and charisma were better tools for the scenerio at hand.
Bridging his fingers on the table infront of him, Mark looked around at the assembled peoples of the conference and started to mentally collect information on their body language with little more then a glance. For now it was too earlier to gather anything more then the tense atmostphere which even an amature could pick up. Mark himself didn't give off the impression of tension however. He seemed relaxed, albeit formal in his body language.
He simply allowed the others to continue whatever conversation they were having, not really listening as he thought to himself about the possibilities which lay ahead.

Later that day, Prince Carl and Rear Admiral Clara Novikas arrived. Going through the various security checks almost seemed to take as long as the flight had.
Their attire took previous experience into account. Prince Carl wore a plain grey suit made specifically for hot climates. The only ornamentation was embroidery (OOC: spellec wrong, no doubt) of very intricate design on the lapels. Rear Admiral Novikas wore her new navy uniform, which had also been tailored for hot climates. It had the exact appearance as the normal one, the big black overcoat, the boots, but was very light and cool.

Curtis was sitting around talking to various women (He rarely talks to men at conferences, unless it's a conference where he really wants to get a point across and the main focus is business, he usually lets his minions handle the talking to men, but he'll talk to anybody once the conference is "officially started" and the speeches, questions and answers begin)
He looked at the Rear Admiral and smiled, he then excused himself from the table, walked over to her and whispered, "So, you're a rear admiral eh? Interesting, I've never met a lady admiral before..."

Clara Novikas was not surprised at the comment. Most nations did not have militaries as "co-ed" as Callisdrun's. "Oh, well we are quite common in Callisdrun. Almost half of the military leaders are female." As always, she answered it very matter of factly. She was in her mid thirties, and had the self disclipline to keep herself in shape, for obvious reasons. Like most Callisdrunians, she was quite pale with black hair. Her eyes were an icy blue. She was about average height, but stood very straight.
Prince Carl said nothing, but attentively looked on, though with a casual air. He was a fairly tall man, standing at about 6'3". Naturally, his posture was royally impeccable.

Frick smiled, "Well, for the last twenty years, I was making sure that the roads were in fit condition, the domestic enemies were disappearing smoothly and in an orderly fashion, well actually I just kept it all covered up so officially they're still just missing and could be back at any time... Although now my job is mostly about what most Interior Ministers would do, as there is not much of a market for helping people disappear in the current regime."
"Ah, the sounds quite interesting," she said.
Arthur smiled. He was a young person to be Deputy Foreign Minister, and was slighty arrogant.
"Thank you very much, soldier. I'll find my way to the conference, then." He and the five guards made their way to the conference room. When he walked in, not too many people noticed him, but Arthur noticed Curtis flurting again.

Finally Dr. Franz Von Schacht, the Minister of Culture and expert on population control, the opening topic, was ready to begin.
Frick and Curtis started walking around asking people to move into the conference room, it was a large room with about five hundred seats with the central item being a projection screen.
Alasse, seeing as the conference was finally about to begin, moved into the conference room, taking a seat close to the front, but not the first row.
Arthur and his five guards walked into the conference room. They took seats near the middle and waited for the conference to begin.

Schacht started to walk out as all the Mississippians present stood and clapped, some of the youngsters threw their left arms into the air and shouted, "Hail Victory!" or "White Power!".
Franz started to speak, "As many of you know, there is a problem today in the world... Too few of the right kind of people, and too many of the wrong kind of people... Just a question for the members of the audience, do you know who the right kind and wrong kind of people are?"
He waited for the audience members to discuss it amongst themselves and come to a conclusion.

She rolled her eyes and frowned faintly after Dr. Schacht had finished speaking. She really should’ve known better; this conference was going to turn into a circus for Mississippi’s racist policies. She sat back and waited for another delegate to answer, not uttering a single word on the subject.

Baldur nodded his head and sat back down and then Curtis raised his hand and spoke, "The wrong sort are Negroids, Turks, Mongoloids, Malays, Tatars, Mestizos, and Khazars..."
One of the younger children present shouted, "What's a Khazar?"
Curtis turned and answered, "Khazars are, in a word... Jews..."
Franz smiled, "Yes, you are both correct, the right kind and wrong kind, you all are very smart audience members, this is a good group here tonight... But you left out a few groups of the wrong kind..." He looked to the children, "Could you kids name some of the wrong kinds?"
One of the youths, about 15 and wearing a black Fabus Youth uniform, stepped forward, snapped to attention and shouted, "Sir, yes, sir, the wrong kinds could also include those not genetically fit, those with major defects, unbelievers who reject the Lord, those who question the government, communists, marxists, feminists, and those who are nothing more than useless eaters who take from society but contribute nothing."
Franz nodded and told the boy, "Very good, at ease, as you were..."
The boy went to at ease and then on command sat back down.
Franz looked out into the audience, "So, do you people from foreign nations, do you understand now the concept of right and wrong people?"

Alasse kept her emotions off her face as best she could. She did press her lips together tightly, but her face did not show that she was torn between amusement and mild annoyance. Right and wrong people, she thought, most ridiculous idea I’ve ever heard. These people are out of their fragile little minds. But honestly, what could she do about it? Franz then pulled out some charts and graphs, one was labeled "Standard of First World Living Sustainable Given Current Population Growth Trends" it showed that the world was already overpopulated for the current standard of living and that only a small percent of the world would ever be able to enjoy industrialization and a decent standard of living.
The next one showed, "Standard of Third World Living Sustainable Given Current Population Growth Trends", it showed that to keep the population growth rate current, the standard of living would have to fall drastically. Either populations would stagnate and stop growing, or people would have to be content to live as peasants.
He started to speak as he pointed to the graph, "As you can clearly see, the world is overpopulated by at least 1 trillion persons, and unless drastic steps are taken to reduce the population of this planet by between eighty to ninety percent, the majority of people today will have to reduce their standard of living to that of a peasant or serf, or else we'll all starve... We will see people going from three and four meals a day, to one meal every two days... This will be a reality people, I'm not kidding. We must make sure that population control measures are put in place against the wrong kinds of people, and incentives to breed are given to the right kinds of people, the creators of civilization, the race of civilized man, as opposed to allowing misguided welfare programs to subsidize the breeding of the genetic underclasses."
He paused for a few seconds before turning to the next graph, calling for a massive sterilization program across the African continent.
"Observe here, we could, while immunizing the negroes against AIDs, chemically sterilize them, thus there would be a trade-off, they would live longer lives themselves, but they would not be able to taint the planet with their seed... It would be a fair deal for most of them who are going to die of AIDs anyway..."
He waited for what he said to sink in and for possible responses.

She proceeded to mutter something under her breath about 'men and how much they treat women like things' and 'maniacal men who obviously try to plot world domination yet pretend they dont'. Then she returned to the conference room said, "Continue... please."
She sighed. It was a pity people hadn’t realized that the world was getting overpopulated and over industrialized a few centuries ago, instead of now. She didn’t like these drastic measures, not at all. Especially in Africa, she considered all human life to be equal. But she decided to voice one of her other major concerns. “What about other overpopulated areas beside Africa, what of them? What measures will be taken?”
"Simple," Arthur spoke up. "Limit the number of children, and get rid of those impure. While I disagree with the Mississippians on the race and the Jews issue, I do believe that, although not neccesarily needing to kill them, those genetically impure need to be halted from reproducing." Arthur sat back down, and remeniced on his days as a high ranking member of the now-defunct Ministry of Social Purity set up by Czar RA Ivan II.
He never talked about it, though, as in doing so he would be sentenced to death. He still held the opinions he held during those days. He still wondered daily on how he escaped the Ministry of State Security.
Mark listened to the views put across, smiling in a odd manner as Curtis Fabus droned on about the various 'types' of people and what would eventually turn into a one sided discussion about eugenics and ethnic cleansing to improve humanity for the benefit of the world, or more realistically, themselves.
At first it seem mildy humorous to Mark that people could honestly think in such backward terms in such an advanced age. That said, however, Iuthia didn't concider Decisive Action to be culturally advanced in the slightest, many nations had already progressed further in their methods of thinking while beleifs held the Mississippians back... not that such a mind set didn't have it's advantages in some manners. However, the amusement stopped as he realised they all thought in the same bigotted manner, something which wasn't so much humorous, as one may find in a old man holding tightly on to outdated beleifs, but more that so many people actually beleived in this crap.
Of course, this was all masked until a somewhat content looking smile. Mark was had an excellent pokerface for this kind of thing. However it was becoming clear that he would probably be wasting him time here. Instead of concentrating on the General so much, Mark decided to keep a glancing view of the High Lady.
Having read her nations profile it had become clear that this nation wasn't hear to simply oppose the Mississippians as such, like other nations would do, but to convince them that their ways were wrong through diplomatic efforts. The latest incidents between the two nations suggested an odd relationship where the elves of Eldanor wouldn't give up on the Mississippians, and despite their peaceful methods had gotten into incidents and even had their people arrested while on diplomatic missions... it was a testament to their willpower and strength that they tried so hard despite such set backs.
The High Lady herself seemed to have an interesting enough background, one which suited her nations tendancies and she would no doubt fare better then other diplomats who had been sent, given her experience. It would be interesting to speak to her some time, though for the time being he would have to be content with the silly proposals the General was going to make.
Looking at the mans walk, it was clear he was a confident man, though his arguement had already disproven any possibility of reasoning with him. He was the kind of man, according to his background, that would sooner shoot a man then listen to any arguement put against his views. In the IDC they concidered this to be a flaw in leadership.
In any case Mark took interest in the Ladies question and the reasponce she would recieve.

Franz answered, "Africans are a race of inferiors whose breeding needs to be controlled as one controls the rat population, thus we cannot allow them to thrive at our expense. Europeans will be encouraged, even subsidized, to breed..."
Mark Jameson concidered the mans answer for a moment before setting forth to ask his own question. He waited for him to finish his comment before he continued, taking his turn to speak as one would expect.
"I'm afraid my understanding of the inferior qualities of the African people is a little limited, our own scientists have found only insignificant differences which make little difference in a persons quality of life when it comes to the regards of race, however we've not invested as much time and effort into the subject as the scientists of Decisive Action have. "Oh, on an hypothetical note, would your people concider it fair to be wiped out in the same manner by a race found to be superior to your own. Please remember, this is purely a hypothetical question for the time being."
“I feel I must disagree, sir. Population control is needed these days, but I don’t think the methods you suggest are what should be done. If we could limit the number of children to families around the world to say maybe, three children at the most, wouldn’t that work just as well? I doubt there’s any need to go destroy a whole race.”

Alasse was somewhat shocked by that number, being as Eldanoran women usually had half that number of children, even though most Eldanorans lived far longer then Mississippians, being a different race entirely. How a woman could have that many children escaped her. “I meant that all races should be limited to maybe four children. It is rare in my country for a woman to have more then three or four, and only once in our history has a woman had seven children.”

He shook his head, "No, no, no... We will continue to have our women have as many children as we..." He paused and started over, "Continue to allow them to have as many children as they see fit... We are looking for ways to increase the numbers of children per women, we are hoping to get it up to a minimum of twenty children per woman, starting at age fourteen and going to age forty-four, with breaks every few years to allow for their body to rest and regain energy... We give massive incentives to large families..."
She hid her laughter behind her hand and turned away so no one would see her. This whole affair was getting very humorous, especially when the man had stated that they were the chosen people of God. Not that she was religious, but it was a bunch of nonsense.
She turned back and listened to what he said about having children. Twenty was what he said; an absurd number and a woman would never be able to manage that, and she said so. “I don’t think that is possible, sir that is a ridiculously high number and it might put the children as well as the mother at risk.”

Franz knew she was about to laugh, he walked down off the stage, walked right up to her, got right in her face and gave her the sort of look he had given recruits when he was helping them train, "Is there something funny you worthless maggot? Do I amuse you? Do you find me funny? Do you find what I'm saying funny? Listen here and listen good you prissy little bitch, I'm only going to say this once and once only, when I was training maggot scum in the parachute units, turning boys into men, I never had to listen to more shit than I've heard from you now, so either shut the fuck up or ask constructive questions, or just sit down and don't fucking laugh when I'm trying to talk... Are we clear you dumb bitch..."
Franz stepped back a few inches and got out of her face, but he folded his arms and waited for her reply.

Hearing that Resebelle burst out laughing. "Now I see why so many nations make fun of your nation!" She was able to compose herself and then said, "But seriously, if you want the rest of the world to take you seriously then you WONT declare youselves children of god, you WONT try to force your will on other nations-which so far is what this entire 'conference' seems to be about, and you definantly WONT insult foriegn diplomats."
"Very well. I think I've heard enough for one conference. Thanks for your time, Gentleman. I beleive I have a flight to catch, so I'll wish you luck for the rest of your conference."
On his way up he nodded to the High Lady. "Would the High Lady like to join me, it looks as though you have overstayed your welcome."

Curtis shook his head and stood up, "No, no, gentlemen, sit down everybody... Franz is just a bit on edge because he was once a paratrooper and a Republican Guard officer, and he had to train cocky young new recruits, forgive his words, they were in haste... Right Franz?"
Franz reluctantly nodded, "Yes, I am sorry, accept my apologies..."
"Well General Fabus, I have little confidence that this error can be corrected. Your experienced officer has clearly shown a lack of discipline in what we are told is a very important conference about world affairs. We can only hope that his reaction is a isolated one because the High Lady here is a senior diplomat from another nation." Mark sighed.
"Personally I can forgive the outburst, given the apology... however I would have to look for the High Ladies forgiveness and willing should we wish to remain."

Prince Carl and R-Adm. Novikas had taken seats quietly after the others. They listened, quite bored, through the speakers' talk of Mississippian supremacy. They had both been expecting this, from reports by Bente Katarindatter of a previous conference. Hopefully this would not degenerate the same way the other one had. Novikas' jaw dropped when she heard the amount of children that the women in this country had. Eight? That's disgusting she thought. She was even more astonished that they wanted women, girls really, to have children at the age of 14. At home, most women waited until about the age of thirty to have children, and had only 1-3. Both were highly disgusted at the various comments directed at socialists. Clara was a socialist, though she sometimes voted communist, and though it was illegal for royalty to be a member of a political party, Carl usually voted either green party or socialist. They held their tounges on this point.
Clara Novikas blinked a few times and then regained her composure, writing everything down for her report. Prince Carl on the other hand, decided to say something. "Now, I completely disagree with your... methods... and several the statements you have propounded... but I have a question. After you have... controlled the population of the Africans and several other of these groups you call 'races,' I personally don't know what they'd be called in Callisdrun as their is no direct translation, but anyway, after that, wouldn't your own... high rate of growth be the sole contributor to overpopulation? What would you do then?" Being a royal, he knew exactly how to say something in a way that showed extreme distaste, but was also so polite as to be beyond reproach. And just by speaking, he suggested an unvoiced question as well: the question of where Callisdrunians fit into this idea of races, as even though they looked mostly white (extremely pale), they were too genetically strange to be put in any of the "races" that the speakers had mentioned.
Her face remained cool and calm, although her insides were boiling. She knew better then to say the rude things she truly desired too. Instead, she folded her hands and simply said, “I accept your apologies, then, but I’m not going to tolerate being insulted in such a way again.”

Curtis answered the question, "First of all, Prince..." (He made a point to say Prince in a tone that let the prince know, Curtis was of a higher standing, having been the royal monarch of Mississippi for a time) "Well, now, firstly our people need to breed early and often, each time one of our women has a baby, she is doing her part for our national cause, our racial cause... And no, your race is not totally white by our definitions, white is not just a skin color, it's an attitude, and a lifestyle... You must look, think, and act, white, to be white... You are a marxist, and thus have elected to renounce your white roots. Sadly that is the way it is."
She looked towards Fabus as he answered the Callisdrun Prince’s question. “Ah, so would you call Eldanorans white, then? I’d much like to know.”
"Very well then, it's settled and I would concur with the High Lady that it would be beneficial for the conference to continue without any further outbursts." He bowed slightly to the High Lady and the General and returned to his seat, his steady smile retained.
To be honest he was half tempted to leave simply on the grounds that the conference was a sham, not really attempting to solve any issues. However we decided that it would be better that he remained and gave it a chance. At the very least he could gain the respect of the Empire of Eldanor for his nation... he made a point of showing excellent control of the situtation.
Yes, he would give this conference a chance. He could still walk out of this conference at any time and with any luck the High Lady would follow him so they could discuss business. Iuthia would be interested in setting up relations with a nation so close to it's own values.

"And sadly..." Resebelle said "You did not answer their question. Their question was. When you have done all this, and the blacks, and Asians, and Malaysians, and whatnot have died off... who will be the sole contributor of overpopulation? You... So what will you do to resolve THAT problem when it arises."
She nodded in agreement with the other delegate, and said, “Yes, you will have to control your own population or you’ll have to kill them off like you’re going to due to other races.”

Resebelle gave Curtis a perplexed look... then said, "Welp! that confirmed my suspicions. You sir... are not just plotting to take over the world.... but are also utterly stupid. There is no such species named Homo Mississippianus, your people ARE NOT chosen by god to take over the world... JESUS! WHAT AM I DOING HERE! YOU ARE WORSE THEN THE SUPREME COMMANDER!"
Mark knew there was a reason he came. He simply took mental note of the wording and continued to listen. Personally he wasn't too concerned about their methods... they were relatively ineffective in any case and he was informed that Decisive Action were not, on the whole, a major threat as other nations posed. They were to be watched but besides that it wasn't at a dangerous level and would likely remain that way.
He allowed the others to make their mistakes in replying... if it continued it wouldn't be worth saying, though hearing the slips made by various delegates would allow for a judgement of their nations choices in personnel and possiple frictions. Of course, Red Tide was baiting the Mississippians into reacting again, something which would raise the tension, possibly to a level which could no long be tolerated.
Mental notes were made. He sighed at the outbursts being made by Resebelle this time, something which could provoke reaction once more... though to be honest it made her look more foolish.
Alasse leaned back in her chair and kept quiet, thinking on all these crazy Mississippian theories and beliefs, most of which were either incredibly bias or a disgusting disregard for life in general. Homo Mississippianus, indeed, she thought to herself, hiding her inner smirk under her calm exterior. It’s true. These people are out of their minds, not to mention this whole thing is just to spread Mississippian ideas and propaganda.

Curtis could tell she didn't like any of what was being said. He wrote down something on a note and had a guard discretely take it to her, "I can tell you're bored, if this part bores you, the next few hours will probably kill you... Want to get out of here and go up to my room?"

"Ah, Ah, Ah..." Resebelle said, her composure back, "But you just admitted it. By saying-and I quote-'God has destined the Homo Mississippianus to have domain over the world.' Now where did you get that idea? What proof do you have that god has really made you the future rulers of the world. I dont really care... and please stop flirting with the female representatives... I am leaving and informing the Supreme Commander that if you ever get invaded..." She left the sentence unfinished and left the building.
"Indeed" Mark agreed with a sly grin. "I wouldn't call the boasts of a religious man to be proof of a plot. I'm sure he is simply refering to some passage interpretted from the Bible which will happen at the time of rapture, or something like the such. To be honest I've not read a bible for some time so I couldn't quote you on it."
Mark had, of course, read a certain amount of the bible as part of his extensive education. However for the time being he wasn't going to distrupt things with such notions as Resebelle made. It was unproductive. Though he was listening carefully to the words said. Meanwhile he watched as something was handed to the High Lady... it wasn't hard to guess the circumstances and he found it interesting that he's even bothering given the events so far... it could even drive her to leave.
Alasse scowled deeply as she read the note. This was the second time such a suggestion had been made to her, and she was getting irritated, but she kept her temper in check and merely crumpled up the note and turned back to the speaker.

Sadly, when she opened the door, she found that she was about to walk into a pile of snow, there must have been sixteen or more feet of freshly fallen snow around the hotel exits...
One of the SRG officers looked at her, "Well ma'am, we probably should have told you, Fabus Island was due to get much more snow than the mainland, which is already mostly clear... But now parts of Fabus Island are under nearly thirty-two feet of snow..."
Mark chuckled at the prospect.

Carl was amused by Mr. Fabus' attempt to belittle him. "Me? A marxist? I'm afraid you are quite mistaken, my good sir, as Marx would probably call for the abolishment of the monarchy, something, to which I am naturally quite opposed. And if there ever existed any white roots, I can assure you that they were... 'renounced' far before our time. Millenia ago. Thousands upon thousands of years before even King Haakon the Great. In our isolation, we... for lack of a better term... evolved to suit our environment, the frigid land and eternal night of our country. Because our language was formulated long before we had any contact with anyone but ourselves, as I said earlier, there is no word for what you call 'race.' It is simply non-existant as a concept. And, in the entire history of the Monarchy, and in the small monarchies before the unification, there was never any record of a government anything like yours, which may be a good or bad thing, depending on perspective. So, I ask, what 'white roots' do you speak of?"
Despite his accent, which, as he'd learned English very well, was far less prominant than most Callisdrunians, he was extremely clear. However, his tone was not as contentious as before, more interested than anything.
Clara did not understand why Curtis had enunciated the word "prince" so. In their custom, a Prince or Princess was higher than anyone except a currently reigning monarch. However, she was pleased that both Curtis and Carl had spoken calmly.
OOC: BTW, elections in Callisdrun are secret ballot, so no one would have any idea who the royals voted for.
The next note made her scowl deepen even more. She took out a pen and scribbled a note of her own. She sent it back to him. It simply said, “I am not a lesbian in the least. My business here is diplomacy, nothing more. I would appreciate my decisions being respected.”

"I wasn't aware that such a preposal would be decent, General. However I'm sure such a decision would be their choice and it wouldn't be for me to make such judgements, Iuthia looks on such interactions in a different manner." He shrugged. Not looking towards the High Lady, he imagined she would be upset by the General's suggestion.
"Perhaps this would be a good time to take a recess to allow us to cool down a little? Pardoning the current situation with the weather of course, it looks as though many of us could do with the break. It's not like we are going anywhere."

Curtis and Frick both left the room at the same time, they were going to go drink and talk about the 1984 war, Baldur Von Schacht left to join them.
Franz then shouted, "Hail Fabus!" and threw his left arm into the air, the children and youngsters all followed suit, they were from a local area school, on a fieldtrip there to learn about how the government conferences worked. About ninety percent of the kids on the fieldtrip were males, and most of the kids were between 14 and 16.
They all returned Franz's salute and then Franz left the room.
Most of the boys walked out to go to the smoking lounge, taking out their pipes, cigars, cigarillos, and cigarettes as they were leaving the conference room.
Alasse left the conference room as well, heading for the bar in order to get something to drink. She took a seat in the bar and ordered a glass of red wine.

"Perhaps, a little later. Wine is something we often don't have the pleasure of, as our climate is unortunately not conducive to vinyards, so that would be most pleasant. Apologies accepted." Carl was a very reasonable easygoing fellow, and that was part of the reason he had been sent, instead of heir-apparent Princess Bente. Everyone liked Carl, and he seemed to be able to get along with anybody. Princess Bente, on the other hand, was incredibly anti-Fascist, and so would have created a very inoportune uproar by now.
R-Adm. Novikas spoke up, for the first time. "Yes, our most common drink is vodka, and though I like the stuff, it can get old at times." Looking outside, she said "Bah... you call this a storm? This is an autumn breeze."
Taking his time to collect his papers, Mark got up from his seat and placed everything into his briefcase. So far the conference had been something of a mess from officers lacking basic training in control to a delegate being unable to control their manner when retorting. The issues themselves were complete rubish and were hardly worthy of his time here. However opportunities presented themselves.
In a calm fashion Mark went to the bar and ordered himself a single beer. For the moment he left Alasse to herself as she calmed down from the experience. He would want to get down to business later and concider getting the idea of an embassy in the air.
Meanwhile he looked around the room and tasted his beer. He had various sets of training for such situations and he simply spent the time thinking about the fact he would be here for a while. Hopefully the storm wouldn't last too long though he wasn't too bother for the time being. So long as they kept to their word on previous agreements things should be safe and respectable.
Alasse, upon finishing her wine, looked around. She saw the Iuthian delegate drinking a beer a little way away. Having determined that Iuthia was somewhat similar to Eldanor in political views, she took a seat next to him. “So, what do you think of all this?”

Curtis, Arthur, Baldur, and Franz, along with a few dozen school children, were all sitting around at a large table drinking liquor. Curtis shouted, "Another glass for all the kids, on me... And cigars all around!"
The bar tender brought the boys all another cigar and glass of brandy, the teacher frowned, "Students you're not really supposed to be drinking on a fieldtrip..."
Curtis grinned at her and said, "Well perhaps you'd like to smack me with a ruler?"
The teacher smiled and blushed, she nodded and then got up and walked off with Curtis, the young woman told her class, "You all behave now, I'm going to have a talk with Mr. Fabus about him possibly speaking in the school next week..."
Curtis and the teacher, barely over 25, both walked off and headed for the elevator.
Mark smiled as Alasse approached and sat down at the same table. He nodded at her in acknowledgement and listened to her question.
"Well, so far I would say we aren't getting very far, though I wouldn't say I expected anything new from Decisive Action. At least things aren't totally falling apart and they have shown more control then they are known for."
He shrugged a little. "It's nice to see you aren't too phased by your experiences though."

“I trying to show more restraint the other delegates we’ve sent here. I was raised at the Eldanoran court, and I attended many of the diplomatic conferences held there as a child and a young adult, so I’ve figured how to handle these kind of things.”

I do my best not to judge it except when asked to do so professionally. That is my job... though I will admit it's not the most human way to look at it." Mark took a sip of his cool beer.
"In my opinion our best bet would be to simply hear what they have to say, keep things simple, polite and cautious both inside and outside the conference while in this country. We aren't here just to talk afterall... at the very least we can return to our nations and report our experience."
Mark then turned to the High Lady. "On a brighter note, I would like to ask for your nation to concider organising an embassy exchange between our two nations. I have seen enough and read enough to want to start a relationship between the Empire of Eldanor and the Benevolent Dictatorship of Iuthia.
You are right of course, our nations are relatively similar in fundamental ways."
One of the men, Franz Von Schacht, sat down right next to the Iuthian, and struck his lighter open, lit a cigarette, and snapped it closed all in a single flick of the wrist, quite impressive... He took a deep drag on the cigarette and then looked at the diplomat as he exhaled smoke up into the air, away from everybody, "So, you don't like our nation eh? Well at least you're nice enough to be polite about it..."
Franz turned to the diplomat from Eldanor, "Again, my most sincere apologies about earlier, I'd never been so angry before, the combination of this storm and what it's done to my stock in the Stahlecker Mississippian Commercial Farming Inc, and just a whole mess of other things, well... That is no excuse for my horrible conduct, I beg you accept my apology."
Alasse shrugged. “It’s fine, really, I’ve heard worse, believe me. This kind of weather puts most people on the edge. We’ll be getting our snow soon enough, but we’ve already harvested our crops for this season. Besides, I enjoy the snow.”
Callisdrun

One of the SRG officers overheard that, he sat down and smiled, "Mr. Fabus likes it rough, so I've heard... I've stood guard outside his room many a time, and have a good idea of what he likes and doesn't like as he is often very loud..."
Carl wasn't especially perturbed by this, more relieved that Novikas wouldn't be charged with assault if she slept with Curtis. "Well, that's good, as that's generally how Callisdrunian women are, especially the Moroii, which is what Clara Novikas is."
OOC: out for dinner
"Thankyou, Highlady. It's always good to hear when I'm doing a good job, though I have to admit that you are handling yourself well given the circumstances." Mark smiled, and then laughed at himself a little.
"Heh... I'm sorry if I sound a little too formal, it becomes a habit when I'm away from home. If Iuthia were to have a weekness it's that we work too hard and forget when we're taking time off. Would you like me to get us another drink? Juice perhaps, I would like to stay off the drink for a little while now, I need to keep a cool head. How the Prince of Callisdrun, another drink perhaps?"
