0800 hours:San Antonio Combined armed forces military base, Chile,
Operation Deep Freeze
Mezzi Isart stared at the display in the military facility in San Antonio. Images of a submarine were shown travelling at full speed due south. Next to him Iryiana Tzarr watched a similar dispaly showing two modified 747's taken from corporations after then Yobbite revolution. They held teams of The Chilian army's newly trained paratroops, and engineers. The Engineers would start the constuction of landing platforms so that equipment and construction teams could be brought.
"Why do they need a military operation to take engineers to a wasteland?"
"Why do they need abloody subnmarine is what i want to know... it takes real effort to mobilise one of those you know..."
0900 hours: Antarctica
"ok boys, you know know what to do... GO, GO, GO!"
first a single soldier jumped through the hatch in the plane, then an engineer attached to a soldier, then an engineer and so on.
They free-fell for a while then opened their chutes to float to the white surface below. As soon as they had all landed a few crates of construction matierials were dropped as the 747's headed home.

The Soviet force in Antarctica was small, comprised of but one infantry division, and a tank and artillery brigade. However, the Soviet radar could easily detect the two fairly large planes travelling at speed over the Antarctican continent. Major Griselov, recently brought in from the Soviet Russian territories, pondered a course of action. The Aircraft Carrier PSV Invader was on station, with its destroyer escort. Maybe he should alert them...
-----
Captain Gruvsky sat back in the Orel Class Aircraft Carrier's Command Deck, watching the penguins flop about on the CPGPS. He smiled - Gruvsky had always had an affection for penguins. Suddenly, there was a beep and an ensign informed him;
"Cap'n, incoming message from Griselov."
Gruvsky nodded.
"Patch it through"
The voice of Griselov fizzled out into the audio receptors.
"Ivan, our radar has detected two planes. They just left, civilian types.. western. Boeing 747, by standard classification."
"I see. So, they left? Whats the problem. Probably some of those 'feckin tourists."
"I dunno, but why such a short trip? GPS picked them up on the long scale. Right back into Chile"
"Aha. I'll send a detachment."
"Alright. I've got some boys on station if you need it."
"Okay. Gruvsky out"
~~~~~~~~~
The three Su-27k Flanker's flew in a delta formation over the site of the 747's, spread out over a space of 500 metres. As the lead Su 27flew straight over the drop site, a little red beep appeared on its thermal scanner.
"This is Red 1 to the Invader, we have contacts, repeat contacts at co-ordinates C1 D4 E21. Orders?"
"Red Flight, do not engage. Return to base."
A little while later, the three planes touched down on the carrier, their pilots heading back to the mess for a cup of warm coffee. A group of five Ka-60 Kasatka Helicopters flew out into the wintery night in pursuit of the unknown.
[10 men to a team]
Marine Team A had touched down about a mile out from the location, heavy trekking gear and massive cold-proof suits testament to the cold weather of the Antarctic. The AK103's hanging loose in their gloved hands showed that the Specialists were far from undeadly. The five teams had touched around in a pentagon-style shape around the site of the Yobbite engineers, and were now moving in.
"This is Sergeant Tuposkiovley to all units, we are approaching an ice hillock. Team A is stopping down there. Over." He abruptly ended the one-sided conversation.
Team A hit the dirt (or ice, in this case) on the hillock overlooking the Yobbite encampment. They readied their weapons.
"This is team A to all units. Enemy in sight. Team B rendevous to our location, stay out of sight. All teams stay in position, find some good cover."
The Marine's did so and soon they were all watching the Yobbite's make their encampment.
"This is Marine Team A to the Invader, we have targets on visuals. Orders?"
"What are they doing, Team A?"
"Building a base, it seems."
"Take 'em out"
The order was spread around, and the marines readied their weapons.
----- Equipment Per Team -----
1 Steyr .608 Heavy Calibre Rifle
1 PK Light Machine Gun
1 RPG7
1 Grenade Launcher
6 AK 103's
Thermal Goggles
Ammunition
Grenades
Smoke Grenades
-------------------------------
On the order, the teams chucked smoke grenades into the encampment, and moved in speedily, closing the perimeter. Sergeant Tuposkiovley screamed out into the dark;
"DROP YOUR WEAPONS! PUT YOUR HANDS OVER YOUR HEADS!
The Marine teams closed, the RPG and Steyr's staying out whilst everyone else closed in, crouching or walking, their guns ready.
"What! There was supposed to be no one here! Protect the engineers... Take cover!"
The soldiers quickly took cover from crates and snow hills, shouldering their FAMAS assault rifles waited to see who would emerge from the smoke clouds.
Seeing the marines come from the cloud the sergeant in charge screamed orders to his teams...
"If they shoot return fire, If not stay... numbers one through five move off to the right, five through six move away to the left, we'll flank them."
The teams separated and he remainders sat tight guns ready...
Soldiers moved around using the enemies own smoke cloud for cover.. whoever the enemey was.
As soon as he thought the whole troup of soldiers were in possition he yelled at the enemy marines:
"We have you surrounded! We dont want bloodshed and are claiming this neutral territory for the sovereign state of Chile!... this is a peaceful operation to set up a Chillian defence post!"
