Throughout Dracun The Army, Navy, & Air Guard are being mobilized. The cities are being turned into fortresses. Troops were being deployed all over Dracun to increase annoyance to AMF. The Chancellor looked out his window smiling. Can't wait for Damien to come and if he does... he broke into laughter. Tanks rolled around as there were fighters in the air every second. But beyond that Jason Malek, Chancellor of the Imperium had a plan that would strike fear into AMF's brutal heart. Dracun was being turned into a fortress. However there were no heroic parades, no dreams of glory in fact the sky stormed lightning and thunder as if an omen........
The Chancellor did not move to a buker, he did not go to some moutain. No, he stood in his palace waiting for his eventual death. He shouted in the empty room "Bring it on Damien! I AM WAITING!"

And thus begins OPERATION: BRIMSTONE
*******
Operation: Brimstone would see the invasion of five nations that dare to oppose the Excessively Armed Empire of Automagfreek, and the first chapter of this bloody saga was about to commence.
Chapter 1: Dracun Imperium
*********
General Brinks, fabled Warchief of Automagfreek had been given this task. His flagship Cemetery Gate had been dispatched along with a full fleet...in fact, more full than normal. With the mobilization of all of Automagfreeks military might, Brinks would have a fleet under his command nearly twice as large thanks to the many generous naval donations from fellow NATO nations.
Several hundred thousand Sentinels in several waves he did have at his disposal, although he was confident that he would never need that many. The choppy waters outside Automagfreek tossed the Freek ships gently as they stormed out of port at full steam. Having learned from the incident involving The Macabees, Freek subs patrols were doubled and their perimeter around the fleets nearly doubled. Several SONAR crawlers trailed the fleets, broadcasting any movements in the water.
In the air only a handful of planes were on patrol, thanks to the ever watchful eyes of AMF's numerous satellites. This did not keep Brinks from ordering constant air patrols though, as he was more old school and relied on readiness instead of technlogy. He did not step outside and survey his fleet as he normally did, but instead he sat hunched over a large map of Dracun Imperium, plotting his moves carefully. More or less this would be a textbook invasion on Brinks's part, although he did have a few tricks up his old sleeve as always.
On board the vast and numerous Freek ships, combat ready Sentinels prepared themselves for the slaughter that was beckoning them. They could not sit still, but began stoping their feet and rocking back and forth, curing aloud and praying for the sting of battle. The Sentinels that had been given to Brinks to reinforce his numbers had not seen combat for many years, and having been told the tales of fire and blood from their comrades, they yearned for death more than ever.
Onward the fleets sailed, ready for action at a moments notice. The Cemetery Gate was at the head of the massive naval convoy, but soon it would gradually fall back to the center of the fleet in order to act as one of several command centers.

The Chancellor sat with his top military commanders on the briefing room in the palace. Satellites had tracked the movement of AMF'S fleet and things were not going to go good.
"Have the fleet sent to engage the AMF fleet, Order the Tyrant bombers to launch and attack the fleet with Eternity fighters as escorts. Our troops are positioned as I ordered right?" Jason asked his commanders
"Yessir, Chancellor We are prepared to fight an urban and scattered war something the Sentinels shouldn't be expecting."
"Good, excellent. I want us to be prepared for a total war"
"Yessir" they all responded
"Good how goes evacuations?"
"Evacuations resulted in not even 10% of the population. Only 36 million have been evacuated the rest..."
"Poor condemned souls." Jason remarked. "All right everyone move to their stations let the battle for our survival and justice begin!"
--------------------------
At airbases throughout Dracun Tyrant Bombers flew out to engage AMF's fleet with Eternity Fighter-Bombers as escort. Onboard the carriers D-91s stormed off their decks and flew to engage the AMF fleet before anything got in close. The fleet rounded up and went after the AMF fleet.
Everyone's targets were the troop transport and carriers. This way the number of troops would be limited. Hopefully Ares favored them.

General Sir, we have inbound targets from the Dracun mainland and several targets from sea based carriers. Brinks had been in situations like these before, and he immediatly ordered his fleets to spread out and take up defensive positions while they continued to trudge forward. Air aptrols were immediatly increased five fold, and the first waves of waves of fighters took off to directly engage the bombers tht were being sent to attack AMF ships before they could do any damage.
Flying in formation high above the overcast skies were several wings of F/A-18F Super Hornets. Their orders were clear, and they knew exactly what they had to do. Sea Serpent, this is Whirlwind 7. Making our attack approach now, over. Advise fleets move forward with caution, enemy ships several miles out. Over. The fighters gained altitude and prepared to swoop down and egage within a moments notice.
The fleet did not halt their progression in the slightest. Confident that his ships would smash through the enemy vessels, Brinks ordered full ahead and fighter patrols doubled yet again. His subs had ventured far forward and prepared to engage any Dracun ship that happened to come close enough. Sitting passively at the bottom of the ocean, the Supremacy class submarines began biding their time.

The entire Dracun fleet moved through the waters. As the bombers continued forward the Dracun D-91s sped forward to engage the up and coming AMF Aircraft.
This Is Dragon Leader, All Aircraft you have the go, I repeat you have the go
The fighters climbed up to where the fighters were preparing to attack the Dracun Bombers and launched their missiles at the approaching fighters and fired there guns desperately afterwards hoping something would hit the AMF aircraft.
The Eternity fighters continued escorting the bombers they were now within seeing distance of the fleet. Oh no...it's huge!! Inform the Admiral now!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Admiral Marano stroked his chin as his fleet moved forward. When a message played over the comm.
It's huge we can't tell how big but it's huge...D-91s are engaging what we now have identified as super hornets.
"Shit...ok order the Dark Dawn Helo's into the air. Tell them to advance under the dog fighting. Get our subs moving ahead. We have to move quickly people!" Admiral Marano commanded

The Freek fighters came under fire from Dracun planes, and immediatly they broke formation and began evasive maneuvers, dropping flares and chaff to throw off enemy missiles. Several fighters were not fortunate and were immediatly destroyed in a massive and impressive fireball, and the main wing of Super Hornets switched from evasive to aggressive maneuvers, double and somtimes triple teaming Dracun aircraft and quickly firing missiles at them. This was not at a cost though, as a few more jets were lost.
The Dracun bombers were not engaged though, they were left totally alone to approach the AMF ships and fighters that waited at the rear of the now fierce aerial battle. Sea Serpent, Dracun fighters currently engaged and bombers have been left to pass per your orders. Requesting second wave of fighters to move in and engage enemy craft directly. Over.
The request was quickly honored by Brinks, and the bombers that were now visible in the sky were to be met by dozens of AMF fighters already in the air. On the sea, Arleigh Burke and Ticonderoga Class guided missile carriers locked in on the lumbering bombers and began launching vollies of SM2-ER anti-air missiles. One after another they screamed out of their launch tubes, with another being loaded mere seconds later. The abundance of Spruance class destroyers were not left out, and they too answered with a barrage of RIM-7M anti-air missiles. CIWS on every vessel were ready and waiting for any jet that decided to engage them directly, although with the massive AMF fighter and anti-air presense it was thought to be unlikely.
The Cemetery Gate was not passive either, for it began homing in and jamming the enemy craft's radar, hopefully giving them a much harder time trying to sight in the Freek ships and launch missiles against them. The bombers probably would not survive the massive air assult, although Brinks did not rule it out. The first wave of fighters began falling back in small numbers and engaging the bombers directly from behind.
Brinks sat back in his chair and lit up up a cigar, confident in his Sentinels ability to handle this minor irritation. His fleets were also preparing for a large naval battle with Dracun ships every minute, but for now the gnats in the air would have to be swatted first.

The three hypersonic transports, which were basically modified bombers, streaked into the sky like a missile. Well, actually faster than most missiles since once they reached their full acceleration they would be pushing Mach 10.
Primarily used for shuttling diplomatic staff about the globe, they also served well in insertion operations and for emergency evac operations. The transports themselves were unarmed, but did each carry a compliment of King's Own.
The three transports, without fighter escort, neared the Dracun Imperium airspace and transmitted their transponder codes. They also transmitted their diplomatic protocol codes to any nearby Dracun and AMF forces.
On a designated airstrip, the Vrakian embassy staff along with some lucky citizens huddled behind an APC. The embassy itself was devoid of life while any documents, files, etc... had been shredded, erased, or otherwise made unrecognizable to the curious. Only the embassy staff carried the most important documents and were flanked by the small, but well-armed embassy guard.

The bombers and escorts were suprised by the sudden trap that had been so cunningly laid. They flew into ocean as burning streaks of fire. Crashing into the ocean resulting in explosions. The more valiant piloted their ships right into AMF ships...though not many made it even to that. The few bombers that did make it through instantly unloaded their payloads. Knowing they did not have any type of chance they crashed their ships right into the AMF fleet as soon as this was finished. Crimson explosions rocked the sky as the Tyrant bombers and Eternity Fighter-Bombers exploded.
Meanwhile the D-91s (Basically Super Hornet also just a little modified) tangled with the AMF Hornets. Missiles went stray and attacked the flares while others continued towards the ships.
While all of this was going on the the Dark Dawn Helicopters flew under the dog fight and approached the fleet. When they were in range they opened fire with their missiles.
The Admiral's fleet was now approaching the enemy fleet quickly
"Major battle stations now!!" the admiral barked
Alarms went over as the small fleet prepared to take on the monster known as AMF.

Things were going well for Brinks. A majority of the bombers and enemy fighters had either been routed or destroyed, but not at a cost. Several AMF ships had been seriously wounded or sunk in the action, and Brinks cursed his officers for not being quicker.
CIWS systems were firing like crazy, being hastily reloaded literally every minute. On board the Arleigh Burke and Ticonderoga class guided missile frigates, huge plumes of smoke engulfed their decks as they hurridly fired upon the inbound choppers. Their slow speed would make them quick and easy targets, and the Sentinels on board knew this. Round after round was expelled from their tubes, streaking towards both the enemy choppers and whatever aircraft remained. CIWS on board the missile frigates and destroyers was fierce, a semmingly unending hail of fire raining from it's whirling bores.
More and more fighters were dispatched to deal with the various aricraft that remained, and Freek ships had already began restocking their supplies for battle with the Dracun fleet. The air had literally turned black from the smoke of sinking ships, downed aircraft, and the smoke trail of hundreds of anti-air missiles. Brinks had seen enough, and he knew the enemy fleet was within stiking range. Sporting large 18" naval guns, the Cemetery Gate could reach the furthest, and firing Brinks's favored rocket assisted artillery, his range was further increased to some 50+ miles.
The 9 barrels on his forward gun emplacements whirled about and immediatly roared to life, drowning out all other noise as 9 rocket assisted shells flew out in an instant, the Freek satellites above guiding their movements into the approaching Dracun fleet. Moments after the shells were fired, chambers on the Cemetery Gate's guns were reloaded and aimed at different targets. The first volley was directed at a single carrier, and Brinks would systematically eliminate Dracun's ships starting with their carriers and battleships, and slowly work his way down to the smaller combatants.
Sir, tracking enemy fleet movements. Estimated time until they are within firing range of us, 10 to 15 minutes. They are still almost 20 miles out of firing range. Brinks smiled to himself as a Freek plane splashed down into the waters near his ship.

"Sir we are hit!" an officer screamed
"Shut up and gather yourself officer ... where are our subs?"
"Within striking range!"
"Good give them the go ahead...Ares give us strength!"
A chorus of "Forever his will be done" answered.
The Subs opened fire with their torps hoping to get some ships...then something came up on their radar after the first salvo,
Enemy subs spotted fall back, fall back!
The subs tried to turn around....
Meanwhile More aircraft zoomed into the ocean or AMF ships. Things were going badly for the small detachment of the Dracun Air Guard. From around 200 fighters/bombers they were now down to 20. The AMF fleet was truly terrible but that inspired them only to fight harder.
Let's give them all we got boys an' girls. Show them what Dracun is made of!
The last remaining aircraft opened fire on the AMF fleet with what was left.
Almost 30 of 45 Helicopters went down or collided due to evasive maneuvering. Another major setback and failed attempt to stop the fleet.
Helicopters, fighters and bombers on the mainland prepared to launch an all out offensive once the AMF fleet reached the shoreline. Soldiers got ready to fight for their homeland. Only 40,000 were surrounding the beachheads where the AMF troops were expected to land. They knew very well their only job was to weaken the Sentinels. They were given orders to kill themselves rather then face AMF torture

Brinks had seen the last Dracun aircraft splash down, and he then stepped out onto the decks of his Flagship and surveyed the damge. He had taken abit more than he had expected, but considering what just happened and the sheer scale of the air battle, he was somewhat at ease. His thoughts were interrupted by the crushing BOOMs of his deck guns still firing at the Dracun fleets in front of him. For ten minutes his guns fired with an unrelenting fury, and he then ordered as many planes as possible to scramble off the decks of their respective carriers and take to the skies.
Deep below the waters, the Supremacy class subs were in some trouble of their own. Having been detected and thinking that they were still 'invisible' to Dracun sonar, they were caught off gaurd. Vollies of Dracun torpedos slammed into the hulls of the Sumpremacy subs that were positioned farthest forward, causing them to inplode in a fury of bubbles. This caused the remaining subs on the sea's floor to spring to life and give chase to the Dracun subs. Having been wise and retreated moments after engaging, the Freeks beneath the waves would have to play a game of cat and mouse....of which they had already been the victim of not only thier own stupidity, but a wise move by Dracun's sub commanders. The Freeks were determined to not allow that to happen again.
Back above the seas, the Cemetery Gate continued it's destrucive atrillery rampage, and Brinks's lesser battleships joined in the song of chaos as the Dracun fleets came closer. Knowing that the Dracun CIWS would probably down them, Brinks ordered a full out missile assult on the Dracun ships as well. He figured a few might get through as the enemy closed in, and they would soon be within range to fire back. Brinks did not think that there would be much left though, but he did not want to take any chances. He ordered his fleets to fall back slightly, keeping a nice gap inbetween the two fleets while the Cemetery Gate continued to fire.
Fools....they will probably see this as a retreat and press on full force. Then they will be mine. Brinks sneered to himself with a devilish grin on his old face.

Missiles collided with the Darkness, Rampage, and Monstrosity They were all carriers and they all sank. The admiral saw the freek fleet fall back. He was about to give the order for a full out press then he remembered something in history class...
The Romans were defeated by Hanibal's cunnings. By pretending to retreat they were able to trick the Romans and destroy them..
"All naval ships open fire do not move any more forward then they are now, man the anti-Aicraft guns prepare for an air assault to the likes we have never seen, get some reinforcements quickly...I said now!"
The officers rushed to obey the admiral's commands.
"Order the subs to turn around in exactly 10 seconds after receiving the order, this should give them some element of suprise, then order them to disperse"
"Yes, sir!"
--------
The subs moved quickly for those ten seconds and slowly turned around hoping the AMF fleet would not recognize what was happening and attack. They opened fire again with their torps and began to turn around yet again.
On land the troops fortified their positions. While the call for reinforcements for the Admiral were met. Another 50 Eternity Fighter-Bombers took off to engage the AMF fighters. The rest were being saved to launch one final assault on the the AMF fleet. Over 400 Fighters and bombers were being prepped.
The engines of the transports whined down to a dull roar as they taxied to a designated area close to the embassy staff. A gangway opened and out marched a full strength platoon scrambled and quickly set up a perimeter. A sergeant quickly hurried over to the huddled Vrakians and shouted over the din.
-Get in the transport now! We don’t have much time!
Nodding compliantly, the embassy staff and few citizens boarded the transports. Then, the perimeter guard formed up and followed suit. With a deafening roar, the three transports wheeled around and sped down the runaway and up into the sky. Full acceleration was achieved within minutes and within two to three hours travel time – they neared the outer boundries of the Klatch.

With the AMF fleets continuing to fall back and the Dracun fleets not moving, the Freek naval fire was ceased as the range soon became too great for even the Cemetery Gate. The Dracuns however insisted on firing, to which their shells plowed violently into the calm blue waters. (OOC: Should have seen this coming bro.) With the first wave of Dracun fighters literally massacred in the skies, the Freek fighters in the air began swapping with those still on the carrier decks. As one plan landed for refueling and reloading, another took off in it's stead. After nearly a half hour passed and not a shot was fired from the AMF fleets in anger. The skies however were polluted with a flurry of planes, circling about the ships and waiting for their orders to attack.
Under the waves, the Dracun subs suddenly circled about and began launching torpedos at the AMF subs that were giving chase...big mistake. As the lumbering subs began spinning around and firing, AMF Supremacy subs opened their torpedo tubes and let loose as well. The chaos beneth the waves was great as torpedos from both sides flew about through the sea's currents. Left and right Freek subs were rocked by the Dracun torpedos, but not without sending a firestorm at their enemy. In a surprise move, the Dracun subs turned around and began fleeing again, but this was indeed a mistake in and of itself. This allowed the very fast Supremacy subs time to reload and continue pouring on the torpedos in large sums, dozens of them in the water at any point in time.
Back up on the surface, with fresh aircraft and loaded guns, Brinks prepared to move in yet again. His larger 18" guns would be the first thing to fire on the field save for missiles, which he did not put alot of stock in. To Brinks, missiles were merely an annoyance that had many effective countermeasures to. Wether he was right or wrong in his assumptions was another matter, but with a repositioned fleet that was at near full attack capability both on the waves and above and below them he began slowly moving forward. The lumbering convoy of destruction moved onward yet again cautiously, for satellite intel told of hundreds of enemy aircraft ready to strike. To this Brinks defied his own methods and orderd his missile frigates to fire several large vollies of Tomahawk cruise missiles at the airstrips near the coast. Knowing how ineffective the Tomahawk was against ships, he instructed his gunners to send the missiles to thier maximum ceiling before having them plummet to the earth at breakneck speeds.
And fire they did, a dozen missile frigates opening up and firing a volley of 4 Tomahawks each, filling the sky with 48 Tomahawks that would arrive in 4 seperate but very tight vollies. Knowing that his frigates held many times more missiles than that, Brinks however decided to save his munitions for later and press on. With a combined movement of his aircraft, subs, and ships, Brinks began moving slowly back into the engagement zone. While still out of range, he used this time wisely to track the enemy's movement and fill the sky with more fighters armed with a few nasty surprises.

"Chancellor, bad news" an officer said running into the room.
"What is it Officer?" the Chancellor said sensing a deep defeat was about to happen.
"The fleet is about to be destroyed. We don't stand a chance."
Loud whispers became rampant throughout the room, "Silence!" the Chancellor screamed, "We are running out of options ladies and gents. It's time we start doing the illogical." With that the Chancellor smiled. "Map please" he asked to anyone. A 3-d map appeared on the table. "Here at this base, where the enemy fleet is closest we have stored tear gas. Loads of it. What we are going to do is simple. We are loading our Eternity Fighters with Tear gas. They will take off with the some 200 Hundred odd Tyrant Bombers and the Eternity fighters will drop it first and drop off the tear gas all over AMF's fleet. Then we will drop in with Tyrant Bombers and bomb the shit out of their fleet. Not only will it distract them it will allow us to move forward with our fleet while our subs are being destroyed, the subs won't be able to respond quick enough. We are going to stop the AMF fleet dead in it's tracks."
Murmurs of surprise at the Chancellor's military genius(sp) surfaced but were quickly silenced.
"All right get that order through people" he ordered
Meanwhile the subs were being taken down one by one. Falling prey to the AMF fleet. The only thing the fleet could do now was watch as doom approached them. The Reinforcements arrived but against the horde arriving they wouldn't stand a chance, unless the Chancellor's plan succeeded.

Fighters roared off the deck, while bombers prepared to fly in after the the tear gas bombardment.
All right, all squadrons form on me the task force's commander spoke.
Dozens of clicks responded to his command. Around 130 Eternity Fighter-Bombers formed up in a triangle formation.
The short trip only revealed how close AMF was to taking down the Dracun fleet and invading Dracun. though they will have a tough time considering the ammount of Defenses that had been ammased. Barb Wire, SAM installations. Long Range Artillery was only a few names of the list of various defenses.
Bombers are exactly 10 minutes behind us, we are going to swoop in drop our 'love tokens'
Another chorus of clicks responded.
The Fighters flew over the swarm of AMF fighters battling the small Dracun Reinforcements. Hoping not to be detected they swooped in now growing ever closer to the AMF fleet
Let'em have it boys and girls.
Meanwhile the Dracun Subs exploded leaving a mere 3 left.
All subs, turn and fight show them what freedom means to Dracun
The subs turned and opened fire on The AMF subs.
The Admiral in preperation for the subs to come had sonic charge launchers loaded.
"All right order our own little cruise strike!" the Admiral barked.
"Sir Yessir" the officers responded
Cruise missiles shot off the ships and headed right for the AMF fleet. Although only 30 were in the air. Hopefully they could do some damage.
On land the Cruise missles neared SAM installations turned and roared to life. They launched missile deterents into the air and managed to bring down around 15. But hell rained down upon the air fields. Around 30 ships were destroyed or deemed non-flyable.
Still some hope remained and this aloud the Dracun's to fight on for their country,

Brinks winced slightly as he heard the news. Them crazy bastards are coming at us again.... With nearly all his available planes in the air, Brinks ordered them full ahead...but with a twist. Nearly three dozen planes broke high into the atmosphere and set their course for the second wave of bombers that Freek satellites saw moving in after the fighter-bombers. Another two dozen moved in straight ahead to engage them directly with support from the fleet below.
A wicked clash it was as the fighter-bombers moved in faster than expected. It seemed as if they were on a suicide course with the AMF fleets, their payload inevitably locked and loaded. The first two dozen fighters engaged the Dracun fighter-bombers a mere mile away from the massive convoy. The first wave of Dracun bombers began dropping their payloads ontop of the out Freek vessels though a hail of flak, anti-air missiles, and CIWS. The first target was a Spruance class destroyer. It's CIWS gun flung hundreds of depleted uranium rounds through the air in a matter of seconds as the first fighter-bomber dropped in. A crewman on the deck of the destroyer heard a strange whistling noise, followed by the cries of his shipmates. The man looked up only to be hit in the face with the ordinance that Dracun Imperium was dropping.....tear gas. The blood soaked canister began spewing tear gas into the air as the bewildered sailors looked on. One of the sniffed the air and coughed slightly, his eyes slightly irritated. The officers inside the cabin cocked thier heads and looked at the sailor for an explanation, and he mouthed to them the words 'tear gas'. The officers looked at eachother and burst into a fit of laughter.
The AMF fighters in the air were ordered to call off their attack and hit the second wave of bmbers which were soon the be engaged nearly 16 miles away from the fleet. Brinks would have his fleets go to work on the fighter-bombers, and his missile frigates and destroyers answered the General's call with a symphony of flak, SM-2 anti-air missiles, and when needed intense CIWS fire. The bombers continues to litter the decks of the AMF ships with tear gas, the crew that stood outside coughing and tossing canisters overboard. The command staff inside were unaffected however, as every naval ship in the known world is securely sealed off as to prevent chemical agents from seeping in.
The bombers had made a mistake indeed, and the AMF fleets capitalized on it. Various fighters that flew around the carriers broke off to take pot shots at the fighter-bombers, bombarding them with 20mm cannon fire and AMRAAM missiles. Brinks sat in his chair and let loose a bellowing laugh. Obviously the Dracun's were short changed on brains and military skills, and the Warchief then concentrated his efforts on the second wave of bombers.
High in the skies the Freek fighters swooped down and began engaging the second wave from both above and behind. With more AMF fighters coming directly at the bombers and the fleet moping up the laughable 'tear gas raid', there was little left to do but move in. That was until a series of cruise missiles were launched from the shore. The radar operatives did not see them coming, for their radar screens were a literal mess with all the activity going on in the air. Emergency countermeasures were deployed and the CIWS guns were loaded and reloaded as they continues to rain 20mm depleted uranium death into the air. With Aegis on all his ships in full working order incase some bombers in the second wave made it through, Brinks moved his ships in again. Their course: the Dracun mainland.
Beneath the waves, there was pure devastation. The Dracuns had done another surprise turn around, sending even more Freek subs to a watery grave. But this would most likely be thier last stand, as several dozen torpedos flew through the waters and towards the Dracun subs. Almost half of the attacking AMF subs had been lost or damaged, but onward they pressed. Several broke off and moved towards the Dracun fleets, ready to harass them as Brinks and the fighters moved in.

Tears flew down the Admiral's eyes as he realized something. Dracun had lost the short lived naval war. Now a massive Air War, and land war would commence. Suddenly his ship was hit.
"Admiral were hit, were going down!"
The Admiral didn't say anything but this "Evacuate if you wish but I'm giving those sick bastards one last stand," no one moved, the Admiral smiled proud of his officers, "Order a collision course for the nearest AMF ships!"
"Sir, Yessir!" the officer responded, then the captain added "Pleasure serving with you Admiral" he then saluted
"Give the order for a retreat in the air, allow them to go down in a blaze of glory if they want, boys and girls lets give'em hell!" yells went up as the Dracun fleet, now down to a mere 4 ships moved on an intercept course with the AMF fleet/
The subs managed to dodge a few torps, but the other connected. The once peaceful waters rocked with underwater explosions. The subs sank to the water doomed to an eternal watery grave.
Sirens sounded throughout the nearest city. People ran into their cars and evacuated to Waterfall City. While soldiers prepared to make a stand if the beach fell.
On the beach Rocket Artillery zoomed into position while the 120 remaining fighters, and bombers prepared for strikes.
The 40,000 troops stationed on the beach prepared for the assault to come. The 'Doomed' squads were near the water. They were made up each of a Rocket Operator and three infantry men operating a machine gun, and two men with assault rifles. There were around 500 of these squads read to open fire on the landing craft/ships.
While this happened the Chancellor received word of the Fleet's inevitable death and the death of close to 60,000 men and women in the naval ships and around 400 in the air.
"Well, let's get ready for the ground war people. Heh, they better not be getting their hopes on for a regular campaign, no they better be expecting one hell of a guerilla war!"

Sir, enemy craft in the air are retreating, possibly regrou... The first mate was interrupted by the explosion of a Ticonderoga class missile frigate as half a Dracun plane crashed into it's decks, causing some of it's payload to go up in smoke. The giant fireball could be seen for miles as flaming and near dead sailors dove into the waters in vain. Carnage it was, but it was in this moment that Brinks was most confident. Sir, we're also picking up 4 inbound ships headed straight for us. Orders? A devilish grin crossed the Warchief's face as he uttered the words Fire at will..
That they did, and the 18" naval guns on the Cemetery Gate were the first to begin the song of destruction. Some of the smaller Iowa class ships also joined in with their smaller 16" guns, sending a flurry of artillery shells towards the remnants of the Dracun fleet. Massive vollies of Harpoon anti-ship missiles were summoned forth from the Arleigh Burke and Tigonderoga missile frigates, bound for the Dracun vessles alongside massed Freek artillery.
I the air, the remaining enemy craft had been successfully routed, and they were now fleeing and disorganized. However, AMF fighters did not pursue them outside a 10 mile radius of the fleet. However, inside that 10 mile perimeter AMF fighters began an exhaustive dogfight, double and in some cases triple teaming the enemy. The air was illuminated by thousands of tracer rounds from both above and below and the explosions of both missile and plane. The special 20mm depleted uranium rounds the AMF fighters were shooting had proven their worth, cutting through anything it came in contact with like a hot knife through butter.
Back inside the Cemetery Gate, Brinks lit up a large cigar and put his feet up. Having lost more than he had expected, he was relieved that the naval battle had ended. Now would come his favorite part.....the ground war. Prep transports and ready the first wave of Sentinels. Massed artillery and missile support on the beach ranging up to 5 miles inland, and sorties of 5 craft every 45 seconds. Go.

The Fleet was hit and was sunk. True they had lost, but they had left a lasting impression that this will be nothing they expected and will not be a war that will be won easily for neither side.
Meanwhile the theater now fell into Supreme Commander Adrian hands. He surveyed the approaching fleet and now realized the fleet was within bombardment range.
"Open fire with our long range artillery, alert our Squads down on the shoreline they have incoming and to prepare for their deaths. Have their foxholes been dug?" the Commander asked calm and collected.
"Sir all Shoreline Squads have been digged in." His second in command, Drake Elkins responded.
The Artillery fired and the ground shook.
"Have our SAMs online now, also have the our Fighters prepare to strike the landing ships as they reach within green zone" the Commander ordered.
"Fighters are moving sir!"
"Good bring me some of my wine"
"On it sir" General Drake made a motion and wine was brought forward. The Supreme Commander poured himself a nice glass and sipped in gently.
"Have my Helicopter prepared for take off In case things get to hot, unlike the Admiral, Ares bless his soul, I have another theater to command besides this one."
"As you wish Commander" Drake walked off to see to his commands.
Let's get things started shall we Commander? the commander smiled his stained teeth.

Full steam ahead Captain, you may commence fire when ready. As Brinks uttered those words enemy artillery rained in. Being large shells they caused mammoth splashes as they violently plowed into the waters. They had a much more grizzly effect when they shook hands with steel decks. Huge explosions were the end result, sending large fragments of twisted and smoking steel into the air. The charging AMF ships returned fire in anger, and huge plumes of gunpowder further added to the literal blanket of death that the Freeks raced through.
Prepare for landing, tell the tansports to make ready. Brinks was now on his feet literally barking orders. After seeing the AMFS Bloodlust take a near fatal hit to it's front gun turret, Brinks was livid. The Bloodlust literally hopped out of the water as the shells blew the front of the ship open. The Captain of the Bloodlust ordered the compartments under the decks closed and the rear guns to continue firing. Mere seconds after issuing his orders, the Bloodlust took a hit to it's command tower, killing everyone inside. The command tower crashed into the deck, causing the ship to lurch forward, it's nose quickly decending beneath the waves. Until the very last, the 16" guns on the rear of the once mighty battleship continued to fire valiantly until the ship could be seen no more.
Onward my Sentinels....this is what you were born for. Though Brinks to himself as the Cemetery Gate stopped abruptly well inside the enemy's long range atrillery zone. Using satellite feed, the Gate sighed in the Dracun artillery on the land and commenced 18" cannon fire. Every single missile frigate began bombarding the coast with everything they had, dozens of Tomahawks in the air at any point in time. Brinks had not ordered his planes in yet until the coast was pretty much charred, and after 15 minutes of intense naval gun and near a hundred Tomahawks launched, he was almost ready. After seeing a few more of his prized destroyers and supply ships sunk, he realized that the time to move was now. The beach was a smoldering death zone filled with choking black smoke.
The Cemetery Gate had been firing so rapidly that it was in dire need to resupply. Brinks ordered the rate of fire slowed and his aircraft forward despite warnings of enemy SAM sites. Thrusting towards the beach at maximum speed, the AMF fighters flew out of formation into the hail of Dracun anti-air defenses. SAM's left and right began knocking fighters out of the air, one by one. The Freeks were not without vengeance though, and they dropped several highly explosive NAPALM canisters on the rear of the beach. They also fired every available missile they had one board and began ripping the beach head with 20mm fire. Brinks recalled his fighters after only 1 sortie, for he could not afford to lose too many of his planes.
Under still massive atrillery support, the transports that held the mighty Sentinels within took off for the shore. Slicing through the waves they rocked and swayed as they moved forward at top speed. Once within range, they began firing 60mm mortars at the shores to clear them of any enemy personnel or nasty surprises. While still under enemy fire but still supported by their own naval guns, the transports moved onward still, opening up with 30mm high explosive cannon fire as they were mere seconds away from landing. The Sentinels inside grew uneasy, and they gnashed their teeth and stopmed their feet loudly, roaring and causing such a commotion that it could be heard well away from the transports.
The first transport hit the sands and it's gate flew down. As it did a ravenous hoard of Sentinels ran out full bore onto the sands, screaming and howling with a blinding rage in their eyes. The other transports were still coming and still firing as the flood gates of Hell finally broke loose.

Artillery towers blew, as the sky became covered in black smoke. Entire installations came crashing down. Screams went up as the shells hit home.
The commander however sipped his wine and gave out orders, "Have Artillery shells continue to pound the AMF fleet. Our Aircraft our to launch now. Along with our Dark Dawn Helicopters. Also I seen Sentinels landing. Our little surprises should take care of the first couple of waves. Then have our Shoreline Squads open fire."
The sound of machine gun fire sounded in the air as round after round went through cutting down some sentinels as they left the first boat. Rockets were being loaded and fired in on the incoming Transports. They were putting on a conniving last stand. Now hell was about to brake loose on the AMF side.
Helicopters and Fighter zoomed overhead. Fighters simply swarmed over the landing craft not being able to get to close for the smoke was thick. But the helicopters were a different story. They move in quickly and deadly. They launched their missiles directly at oncoming AMF landing ships.
3 helicopters zoomed overhead. Unlike the black painted helicopter they were painted silver/White. Ropes dropped down and out came Dracun's 2nd most elite troops, The Imperial Guard. The 90 Imperial Guards stood their wating for the horde of Sentinels to come.

Several transports were struck by the helicopter fire and sunk, although some Sentinels were able to swim out. The transports saw the helicopters beginning their assault on the landing fleets, and they immediatly focused their 30mm high explosive fire on the slow moving helicopters. Round after round shot from the transport's gun barrels and mortar tubes, the heavy guns aimed at the choppers and the mortars concentrating fire on the enemy troop emplacements. With the continued support from the AMF fleet parked firmly offshore and the fighters in the skies the transports continued to land and unload, the Sentinels inside taking cover inside craters and behind barriers, firing their SBP-90 assult rifles furiously. Several hundred had stormed the sands and thousands more prepared to make the trip into the fire.
With the launch of Dracun fighters yet again, Brinks ordered a full on aerial counterattack. The Freek fighters wheeled about quickly, engaging the Dracun jets at point blank range. Dozens of AMRAAM missiles and thousands of 20mm depleted uranium rounds filled the skies and flew towards their enemy. A few aircraft broke off from the pressing air attack and began dropping heavy ordinance on enemy artillery and anti-air sites and let loose their 20mm rounds on the Dracun troops on the ground.
Out at sea, the Cemetery Gate had been reloaded and picked up it's 18" fire, sighting in the targets that Freek satellites provided. The Dracun airstrips were a tempting target, and Brinks ordered 3 vollies of 9 rocket assisted high explosive shells at the air fields in rapid succession. Snarling and fuming, he told his missile commanders to blacken the earth, and that they did. His missile frigates fired special cluster munitions at the rear of the enemy defensive position, as well as another volley of 2MR anti-air missiles. Flak cannons from every equipped ship in the fleet began peppering the skies and even the beach itself in support of the now massive blitzkrieg assult taking place.
Transports continued to land and fire their mortar and 30mm cannons, dropping their gates and sending wave after wave of Sentinels and Freek armor ashore. The M1A2's that had landed wasted no time in firing their cannons and storming up the beach during a massed Sentinel push. Under heavy suppressive fire from all fronts (the sea, air, and land), the Sentinels trudged forward with great speed and ferocity, firing their rifles indescriminatly at any target that presented itself.

Fighters engaged the AMF fighters. Knowing that the chance's of an air battle would go to the Freek fighters, they went into "guerilla" formation. They engaged in dog fighting. Double-teaming the enemy fighters. Meanwhile though the lost of 20 fighters head on had a somewhat damaging effect on moral.
The undercover SAMs roared to life and shot volley after volley of their missiles. Bringing down The missiles and planes. But damage they still did. Artillery towers, and the un hidden SAMs blew up into the air.
Then the trap was sprung. A few sentinels pushed too far and well the Dracun commander ordered a small bomb strike. Suddenly A wall of flames lit up the beach as detonated bombs blew up. There had to be at least a hundred explosions and a few Dracun troopers went down.
While the explosions occurred, the "Doomed" squads fired their machine gun and rockets into the flames, hoping to get a few transports and sentinels that survived the first wave of Detonated bombs.
While the helicopters fought ferociously they soon went down, most of them anyway. The others charged in firing their machine gun rounds into the enemy landing craft, since their missiles were spent.

Hundreds of Sentinels lay bead and dying on the beaches while many thousands more swelled on the beach. A lone Sentinel commander shot off a red flare into the sky, signaling the Cemetery Gate to begin it's most intense bombardment yet. Loading up anything and everything they had, the Gate and the 6 other battleships that were present all began a massive bombardment of the enemy positions raning from several dozens yards in front of the Sentinels all the way up to 20 miles inland. The general order was to leave that stretch of ground nothing more than a wasteland.
In unison all the battleships sounded their deck guns loudly, dozens of shells at any point in time in the air and screaming towards the ground. As the Gate sounded, tanks on the land began their push, firing off the cannons and clearing room for the ground artillery. A consistant stream of 60mm mortar fire came from the still landing transports, firing round after round in great succession into the heart of the enemy position.
High in the sky, the Freek fighters pressed their attack even further, with ever increasing anti-air fire from the fleet out at sea. With the landing of Freek armor, anti-air fire from the ground soon came into play, giving the Dracun fighters an even bigger run for their money. Several Super Hornets dropped large canisters of highly explosive NAPLAM, unleashing massive hellfire in it's wake. Huge plums of flame and ash filled the sky as anyhing and everything on the ground was doused in NAPALM. After a few minutes of even further massed sea and land based artillery, plus with the persistant air strikes, the Sentinels prepared for their push. Loading up and deploying their snipers and heavy machine gunners appropriatly, the Sentinels let loose a fiery battle cry as their armor began tearing ass forward.
From their holes and behind their barriers the Sentinels did come, swarming the ground and filling the air with thousands upon thousands of bullets as they charged. With the strikes from the sea and air growing more intense by the second, Brinks was confident that this push would break and route the enemy. His snickes was interrupted by the 18" guns on the Cemetery Gate firing in support of his charging Sentinels.
Onward my children, send these heathen dogs into the abyss!

The Commander sat in his command chair as another bomb came to close for comfort. "Order the Doom, Squads to fall back-"
"Sir there are no more Squads..."
"Poor souls, have the Dracun Elite move forward under command of the Imperial Guard. Have our aircraft press on. Do not execute the order for the infantry assault till I say so. We need to keep our next surprise secret."
The captain sipped his wine, revealing purple teeth stained from tooth-tooth
"Order being distributed Commander." The General said.
----------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile as the Sentinel tanks and troops moved forward an explosion occurred...an anti-tankmine. With that one explosion dozens more went off as a warning to the Freek army that the place is surrounded with Anti-Tank/Personel Mines.
The aircraft continued to press on striking some excellent shots but against such a devastation they were small dents.
The 30,000 Troops and tanks, prepared for a charge once all the mines had been declared clear. They would go down fighting for their country, and their families.
The Chancellor heard news of the Shoreline breach and realized things were rapdily going down hill. He had do think of something... soon before Dracun became eclipsed, forever.

The mines had little to ne effect on the Sentinel moral, even after seeing their borthers in arms blown to bloody shreds. With the Dracuns on the LZ beaten back and a larger garrison waiting for them to press forward, the Sentinels took the opportunity to replenish their ranks and clear the main pathways on the beach of the dead. Sentinel engineers fired MLRS vollys at the minefield ahead of them, detonating a good protion of it in a spectacular display of destruction.
With more Freek armor and artillery landing by the minute, Brinks ordered his naval gun fire slowed but concentrated on the enemy's forward position. Over the next half hour he would order the launch of nearly 75 Tomahawk cruise missiles at specific land targets, including any remaining airfields, key points of enemy retreat, and the enemy line itself.
Artillery crews on the beach hastily set up their 155mm howitzers and firing at targets 13 miles away, thanks to the watchful eye of AMF satellites high in the heavens. A corp of AMF Paladin self propelled artillery also set up beside the howitzers, and with their superior targeting systems and increased distance, they were able to fire at targets nearly 23 miles away. The goal was to rain death upon the Dracun garrison, and large vollies of high explosive shells and cluster munitions were fired at them alongside a score of MLRS fire.
On the front, AMF armor haad spread itself out in support of the infantry, which had positioned itself as best it could and waited to press forward. With sustained support from the sea, air, and now the ground (artillery), the Sentinels would simply bide their time for now.

"Commander they aren't movin'" the general remarked
"Thank you General Obvious, use the detonation key to the mines off, then while the explosions are occurring order the troops forward. This should give us a little bit of a surprise assault. Then get me out of here things are getting a little too hot. My last order General, is that every last man go down fighting for his country, no matter what the cost." The Supreme Commander got up and left under guard of around 5 Imperial Guard.
-----------------------------------------
The mines blew and the troops surged forward. Self-propelled missiles flew through the flames as Dracun Elite, Marines, and Infantry surged forward assaulting the Sentinels. Gun fire sounded throughout the massive beach. The remaining towers launched round after round of RPGs and Anti-Tank missiles at the farthest line of the enemy
The remaining fighters fought ferociously hoping to slow the advance of the AMF fleet. Meanwhile the Supreme Commander's helicopter took off for Water Fall City, capital of Dracun. With two helicopters acting as escorts.
The battle for Black Beach had really began, and the Dracun's were loosing
In the Imperial Palace, The Chancellor needed to stop the Sentinels at Black beach. But how? Suddenly he got an idea. "People order a full retreat. Prepare the Guerilla squads near black beach to harass the Sentinel forces there. Do it now!"
The Chancellor managed to smile a grim smile.
The General Left behind received the order and with the Supreme Commander gone he had to do a retreat. "All right people order Legions Markato and Dynasty to stay and fight the rest are to fall back to trade city. GO GO GO!"
Before the battle even began the troops began to fall back as some moved forward. Hopefully this would confuse the Setinels

Sir, the Dracun's are massing an assault on our lines while a larger contingent are falling back. Squawked the first mate on the Cemetery Gate. Brinks smiled confidently and in a matter of fact tone issued further instruction.
Excellent. Concentrate artillery on the retrating mass, I want to shave thier numbers down as far as I can before they are out of range. As far as this 'charge' goes....counterattack, now.
As the Dracuns pushed forward, their resistance conssited of tank fire and machine gun emplacments, but as they got dangerously close ot the Sentinel lines, the tanks shifted fire towards the Dracun towers, in the process losing several more M1A2's. The .50 cal fire increased into the surging Dracun hoard, and as the enemy ran nearly ontop of AMF lines, the Sentinels made their push. Mere yards away the Sentinels sprang forth from their hiding spots, spraying assult rifle fire furiously before themselves running forward. The two lines clashed furiously mere feet away, a hail of Sentinel gunfire spewing forth. As the Sentinels pushed, so did Freek armor, firing their main guns and .50 cals in great succession. The armor wasted no time in literally driving into the enemy ranks as the Sentinels charged forward as fast as their legs could carry them, slaughtering any Dracun soldier in their path.
The bodies on both sides began to pile up, but the second wave of Sentinels from the beach pushed forward, the ranks now swelling in the tens of thousands. Freek A-10's provided close in air support in light of the dwindling air battle, firing 30mm anti-tank rounds into the Dracun soldiers themselves, and dropping scores of cluster munitions on the ground.
With about 10% of his Sentinels landed, Brinks armored up and prepared to land himself. As with any AMF Warchief they were required to lead from the front, and even an old man like Brinks was not exempt. Another large waves of Freek transports hit the sands and deployed their Sentinels, rushing forward to desperatly get a piece of the action before it was over.

The towers collapsed into the now blood stained beaches. The Dracun troops ran forward and engaged the enemy head to head staring into the black headmasks of the Sentinels as they shot them down or were shot down themselves.
Dracun casualties continued to increase. The artillery bombardment of the retreating troops didn't help either. A commander, Commander Antilles, looked back at the carnage. They were being slaughtered like dogs. He picked up his radio and issued it on the highly encrypted Dracun Commander Net.
You wussy's can fall back if you want I'm going forward with my legion. The Legion of Saviors will stay true to their names.
Slowly the Saviors Legion turned around and charged into the fray firing into the sentinel horde that was rapidly overpowering the Dracun defenders.
As if inspiring the remaining Legions or what was left of them (23,000), the lone commander convinced that what the Dracun's were doing was morally wrong and that they would end up in the underworld instead of Olympia. They turned and charged into the battle as well, guns blazing.
The General watched with horror as his troops turned back and fought "Dammit, I said retreat! Retreat dammit!"[/i], but his order went unanswered as his troops jumped into the battle against unbeatable odds. The small advtange the Dracun troops has was two things.
1. Their Families survival
2. Desperation, which could be the most powerful weapon anyone could utilize.
Although many were running back around a thousand continued forward scared to go back. They ran like mad dogs.

The pressure on the ground was increasing, and AMF heavy infantry units finally made it to the front. The Death Dealers had arrived and placed their .50 cals on the dirt and began firing en masse into the Dracun lines. Other Death Dealers supplied a vast and crushed supply of LAW's and other missile fire. Several ground artillery piece were instructed to move their fire away from the retreating hoard and concentrate fire on the rear of the advancing Dracun wave. Shell after shell flew through the air, it's highly explosive ordinance lighting up the beach as it hit the ground. Air support grew gradually more intense, with large charges of NAPALM droppd on both the rear and center of the enemy's ranks.
On the actual front line the fire grew more intense by the second thanks to the addition of heavy infantry into the Sentinel ranks. Orders had been to cease advance and take up firing positions, and the Sentinels dropped down into cover and began firing fiercly at the Dracun soldiers that were now literally running straight at them. Piles of casings grew larger and larger as thousands of rounds of mahcine gun ammo pierced the air. The noise was near deafening with .50 cal fire from both AMF tanks, light armored vehicles and Death Dealers, cannon fire rocket and grenade launchers, and rifle fire from thousands of Sentinels.
The naval elements prepared their final support volley for the landing before resupplying, and another wave of heavy naval gun fire was unleashed. Tomahawk cruise missiles also filled teh skies once again, bound for the rear and center of the advancing Dracun unit's line. More fighters screamed off the decks of the Freek carriers, ready to drop flaming hot death on the enemy that was blindly rushing towards it's doom. More and more Sentinels began unloading onto the LZ as well as hundreds of tanks, APC, and other armored vehicles.

The troops knew that if they didn't advance they be slaughtered by the troop support. So they kept advancing. They ran as they shot, only stopping if they were hit or dead. Rockets and bullet fire pierced the air from both sides. Cruise missiles, artillery, and rockets and NAPALM crashed into the Dracun lines massacring them. But they continued on knowing now they were dead anyway.
The Different legions lead off a special war cry, one special to the Dracun period, and it seemed fitting as of now. We live to die, and die to live. It provided a great moral booster and the troops surged forward. Most of their guns were running low so they tossed grenades, rifle-whiped, shot with their small arms, anything to hurt the Monster that was AMF.
The Dracuns knew there time was up, and it made them ferocious animals. They did anything they could. Even running into the sentinel line with grenades armed in their hands.
But now they were so close to the Sentinels the AMF support couldn't risk firing on them now, it could hurt there "monsters." Though they all knew not to put it past AMF that they would bomb them anyway.

Due to the close proximity of the enemy and the fact that their weapons were almost out of ammo, the Sentinels prepared to execute their textbook assult maneuver. Tossing ammo to their backmen that had hunkered down, they drew swords and pistols and prepared to make a charge. Under massive covering fire, the entire Sentinel hoard advanced forward, several thousand moving forward with their swords and handguns to slaughter the Dracuns that were literally ontop of them. Screaming like great beasts from the foulest chasms of Hell, the Sentinels ran across the ground and over the bodies of the dead, an insane look in their eye and bloodlust on their tongue.
Two other large groups of Sentinels wheeled about on the flanks, however they were still armed with their assult weapons. With the first wave of troops in close quarter combat with the enemy, these two large units numbering in the tens of thousands passed the initial Dracun wave by and moved towards the rest of the enemy. Artillery and MLRS fire ceased immediatly, and AMF armor corps advanced swiftly up the flanks and merged into the cnter past the close quarter action.
In the center where the Dracuns had rushed, swords cleaved flesh and lopped off heads and limbs. The Sentinels ran forward skewering the Dracuns in front of them while firing their pistols at anyone still carrying a rifle. Now totally surrounded on all sides, the Dracuns were most certainly finished. Snipers and Death Dealers fired into the close quarter action, targeting any Dracun soldier still firing a gun while the Sentinels up close continued to slice and hack their way through the enemy ranks.
High in the sky, air support was given a new objective. No longer able to suppor their forward elements, the Freek aircraft took off in hot pursuit of the retreating Dracun mass. Blankets of 20mm anti-tank fire and scores of high explosive missiles fired into the heart of the retreating mass. Several sorties of this nature were planned, and as AMF fighters emptied thier guns and spent their missiles, fresh aircraft arrived to take their place.
Back at the beach, AMF heavy armor elements were assembled and preapred to move out once the charging hoard of Dracuns were slaughtered. Moving towards the main engagement zone, they provided close in fire support with their .50 cal guns and main cannons.

The Dracun troops fought to the last. But within a few hours they were completely slaughtered and dead. Those that survived shot themselves then face AMF torture. The retreating Dracun's were also slaughtered. Only about 300 escaped. The battle for Black beach will be an echo forever in the history of the AMF-Dracun war. Though it was downplayed, the remaining Dracun's knew what a defeat the battle had been.
Meanwhile Spartans were deployed along the beach. They would launch Infiltration operations into the AMF force there as long as they stayed there. While D.I.U. (Dracun Infiltration Units(Guerillas)) moved into positions when the AMF war machine moved they would be there and they would help bring the foul smelling Damein to his knees. The Guerillas and Spartans promised themselves it would be an AMF Vietnam and hell for anyone that dared entered the war zone Dracun would soon become.
The Chancellor knew those men had died proudly but he still felt a great remorse. He knew soon all of Dracun would be bowing to AMF if something drastic was not done. nuclear silos? no That would kill everyone on the island as well, the L-Virus? No, to dangerous if that spread... The chancellor shuddered at the thought.
"Order the bridges blown that connect the city to land. Then have all SAMs and Rocket Artillery prepared in case AMF gets to close to the City."
An officer rushed to do order the command down to the engineers.

The action on the beach had finally died down, for the indomitable Sentinel war machine would not be stopped. Across the blood soaked ground, Sentinels began tearing apart the bodies of the Dracun dead, removing their eyes, tongues, fingers, and other body parts. The heads they mounted on their tanks and other vehicles, and the smaller body parts such as ingers and ears the Sentinels kept for themselves, pinning them to their armor and weapons.
Several thousand Dracun bodies were stripped of their arms, legs and heads. On large wodden pikes they placed their torso's on the beach as a reminder and a lesson to the forces of Dracun Imperium that they had made a grave error in awakening the dragon that was Automagfreek. A single captured Dracun soldier was spared from death, for he was charged with a special task. The Sentinels placed him in a large dump truck that AMF forces would have used to help build up a base on the beach. In the box of the truck they threw in the heads of the vanquished Dracun fighters, without eyes, noses, ears, lips, or tongues. The box was covered with a tarp and the driver of the truck was instucted to drive to the capital city of Darcun Imperium and deliver the truck personally to his leader, and to dump it's contents on the steps of the capital building. He was told that if he did not complete this task that a remote detonated bomb under his seat would go off, killing him. He would be watched by an AMF satellite to make sure his quest was completed, and after being told this he was sent on his way.
The Sentinels had tasted the blood of the Imperium, but their thirst had not been quenched yet. With thousands more Sentinels landing every minute, they climbed ontop of their armored vehicles and moved off swiftly to the southeast. A large garrison had been left behind consisting of several legions of Sentinels and Death Deales, as well as a few artillery corps and heavy armor elements. The beach was immediatly cleared of the dead so that a command center could be erected, and the Sentinels set up a wide perimeter almost a mile and a half away from the site.
Hundreds of Sentinels cheered and slammed their weapons against the sides of their tanks as the large dump truck carrying the severed heads of the Dracun soldiers took off for the capital. They began mocking the Dracun driving the truck, reminding him to stay on course or be blown to shreds.

The Sentinel forces were on the move and the voyage to the capital will be filled with their own deaths. As the Sentinels moved away from the beach they would enter a land surrounded with rockets and Dracun's looking for revenge against the AMF for the slaughter at Black Beach. The Dracun soldiers patiently waited now even closer to the Sentinels they prepared to launch their rockets. The small 5 men squads were placed strategically along the different paths.
Corporal John Markers was in charge of the Dark Legions D. I. U. squad, Doom Finders. They waited and waiting for the bastards to come. They bided their time and soon they heard the force coming. Two grabbed their rockets while another two men grabbed assault rifles and another a sniper rifle. They slowly emerged hidden by the darkness of the night. They aimed and let loose hell. 2 rockets flew and connected with an enemy tank, while the sniper took out a sentinel that looked right at them. The Corporal ordered them to keep fighting and kill themselves rather then be killed by the Sentinels. A sentinel saw them and shot towards them. Lt. Corporal Jackson was shot in the chest and fell onto a Branch.
The branch then snapped and well they knew what would happened if they were caught. So they each took a grenade and ran towards the a Sentinel tank....
IC: The Bridges were set to explode. But the Chancellor had a better idea and he prayed to Aries it would work for if it didn't well, Water fall city will become forever one with the water.

OOC: In all fairness, your men don't know what's in that truck.

The back of the enemy had been broken on the beach, tens of thousands slaughtered where they stood. Many thousands of corpses were placed onto a hijacked Dracun freighter and sent off to sea, and many thousands more sat atop 45 foot pikes, their now festering corpses rotting in the still air. The stench of death blew with the Sentinels as they took to their armored vehicles and made a mad drive southeast.
Field artillery was constantly repositioning behind them, sighting in targets provided by AMF satellites and firing on them accordingly. Small pockets of resistance continued to spring up as the Freek armored column moved forward, and several squads of infantry were dispatched to handle them, ranging from light to medium units. Casualties were of no concern to Brinks, and with his command post nearly complete he began sending more Sentinels into southeast Dracun territory.
With the outer line of Dracun Imperium's defenses penetrated, he was able to freely send aircraft to bombard enemy positions and use satellite guided missiles to take out any SAM sites that would down his aircraft. With the landing of fresh reinforcements also came the landing of Automagfreek's most elite special forces, the Sentinel Stalkers. Expecting small pockets of resistance to continue springing up all the way to the capitol, Brinks ordered his Stalkers to be imbedded in the various heavy and light armored divisions in case of enemy attack.
+++++++
The Sentinel task force was rapidly romping through the Dracun countryside without care or concern for collateral damage. Whenever a foe presentd itself, it was either immediatly shelled by MBT fire of that of the infantry themselves. Freek satellites were a blessing in this case, and their infrared capabilites were able to give advanced notice to the main advancing force of enemy movements, ranging from a division to a mere fireteam.
Nothing was spared from the Sentinel war machine. Crops were burned, villages destroyed, Dracuns slaughtered. Some were left alive and coated in the blood of the dead and necklaces of severed fingers and ears were stapled and nailed to their body. Those fortunate enough to escape the countless massacres were sent to the next establishment with a warning: lay down your arms and run, the tides of fire are coming.

ooc:Sorry I thought he was in a jeep-style truck I will edit it. But the aircraft part in your last post, although I used around 700 craft in the battle of Black Beach I still have plenty left in the air. So they would not have the ability to run freely though they could make bombing runs they would attacked though.(I would tell you this over AIM except mine isn't working for some reason)
IC: Screams went up across Dracun as villages and crops were burned to hell. The people ran in fear of the AMF war machine. The Chancellor looked out of his city once majestic and powerful now about to be crushed unless he did something. The guerilla war wasn't working he needed to confront the Sentinels there and now before the end of Dracun.
He turned to his officers and told them the truth "I'm not going to lie and tell you that the chances of the war are high in our favor. In fact we will probably loose. And that is exactly what we are going to tell our soldiers."
They all looked puzzled "What do you mean?" the Intelligence Chief asked.
"Desperation, is the key to victory in battles and wars that the underdog had no chance even for an underdog. We will tell them that most of our people will be slaughtered, killed, and raped. This will inspire something freedom could never. Desperation will cause the downfall of AMF and we will the first to do it!"
"Understood sir, but the way we are engaging the AMF forces as of now we can't utilize it." The Tactical Commander remarked.
"That's why we are changing to full frontal campaign. Map please" the chancellor called and a 3-d map appeared over Dracun.
"The biggest force we have is located in Ares City, Trade City, & Mining City. They will gather at the AMF's current position, which we thank Satellite for. Then launch a full frontal assault on them. They will most likely know it's coming. But we will have desperation on our side. We will have everything attacking them. The rest of the army will be gathering at Water fall city, for one final battle in case this battle is lost. We aren't rolling over people, were biting back!"
-----------------------
In all of the three cities, troops, tanks, helicopters, everything else was gathering and setting off for the rendevouz point. Over 2 Million troops would be used to try and break the Sentinenels down. This would be the decisive battle in which the war's future will be most likely decided.

Brinks was extremely furious as he heard the reposts roll in of a massed Dracun push, numbers so high that he himself scoffed at them. These impudent cretins just don't know when to quit, do they? My orders are as follows: raze Trade City to the ground. Now.
Brinks's artillery repositioned itself and took aim at the heart of Trade City. with the bonus of rocket assisted projectiles their reach would be far greater than normal....but not as far as naval guns. Brinks ordered a portion of his fleet to move north up the coast and commence massed shelling into the center and northern portions of the city. For this task the most highly explosive ammunition would be used as well as series of cluster munitions, but the missile attacks that were to come out take care of that. After being resupplied the detachment of AMF ships moved up the coast and began firing round after round of highly explosive rocket assisted artiller rounds in unison with artillery pieces on the ground. Satellites high above watched as the shells began to rain into Trade City in every direction and track enemy movements at the same time.
Two million was indeed a great number, and a grat deal of soon to be corpses. The Sentinels at the beach had spread their perimeter wide and placed atrillery and mortars at their center, and across the line pockets of snipers and machine gun nests sprung up with infantry filling the gaps between them. They camouflaged their tanks and dub the earth up high around them so that only the gun barrel stuck out, and makeshift trenches were dug all around. Behind the dirt walls awaited a fate most ghastly for the Dracuns, for even being outnumbered greatly the Sentinels still had one strong element in their favor: unadulterated fear. The stench of the dead still hung in the air, and the corpses that sat motionless atop the high wooden pikes were still visible. With flocks of ravens and vultures circling ahead and a cloud of smog hanging overhead, Black Beach certianly lived up to it's name.
Snarling and roaring like a heard of mad dogs, the Sentinels waited for their prey.
++++++++
The advancing column did not cease their movements however, and they continued thier campaign of carnage across the countryside with great speed and ferocity. Deeper into enemy territory they raced, and as they plunged further their air support gradualy grew thin, then next to nothing. With engagements taking place in the skies near Black Beach, there was not much need for air support at the moment. Whatever could not be destroyed with MBT, MLRS, or artillery fire was simply overrun and demolished by the swarm of Sentinels. Like great locusts they came and left nothing but ash and burning bodies in their wake.
They paused momentarily to allow reinforcements from Black Beach to rally with them, and word was finally spoken about the massed advance of Dracun soldiers. The Sentinels roared in approval, for their hands would once again be washed in the blood of the heathens, and this time perhaps those in charge of Dracun Imperium would get the message.

The Dracun troop rallied at Mining City. There over 2 million different units would be prepared to launch one final offensive into the heart of the AMF force. Unlike last time the Dracun's would be prepared for close combat. As in ancient times the Dracun had crafted superb swords. Now they would be brought into battle as each soldier was delivered his own specially ceremonially created sword, which was required at the age 11.
This time however the Commander would take charge directly over the Army with dozens of other Commanders, and Generals in case of his death.
A massive sound speaker system was quickly deployed, for their Chancellor had a message for them.
My people, no My brother's and sisters. Tonight will be most of yours last night. Tonight though, will be the battle to end all battles. Tonight you will decided the Imperium's fate. Tonight we fight tonight we die.
I promised myself I wouldn't lie to you and I wont. The chances we have of winning this war are slim and almost non-exsistant. But We will fight for your families, for your land, for me, and most importantly for yourselves! Let that be your battle cry, let that lead you into the gates of Hades, let it be what leads you into the victory!
The stomping of feet and shouts of cheers could be heard for miles as the Dracun's began to be rallied for once lastbattle. Tonight they would go to victory or death.

The siege of Trade City continued, with hundreds upon hundreds of artillery shells from both the sea and ground units raining in nonstop. Large vollies of rockets and any explosive projectile imaginable were thrown at the heart of the city. Through their air defenses the Freek fighters flew, dropping scores of 1,000 pound bombs and firing 20mm depleted uranium slugs into the streets and buildings. The campaign against Trade City was fierce and at a distance, and nearly 20 miles away from the city limits waited several divisions of Sentinels, heavily dug in and expecting the worst.
Part of the main armored column stopped several dozen miles otuside Mining city and began forming a heavy defensive perimeter. Makeshift trenches were dug to disguise AMF tanks, and machine gun nests dotted the landscape. Under cover of night, several fireteams of Sentinels began setting up an abnormally large minefield up to a mile away from the main AMF position. Any mine imaginable was placed on the ground, ranging from seismic charges to pressure mines to claymores.
AMF special forces had linked up with the main assult unit and set of position outside Mining City. They would play mostly a support role, providing very heavy machine gun and sniper fire if the Dracun's decided to advance. Almost a half mile back from the front line, Freek MLRS, anti-air, and artillery pieces took up supportive positions and prepared to rain hellfire upon the 2 million who would soon meet their maker. Also behind the main Sentinel skirmish line waited several legions of reinforcements behind a secondary defensive wall. If the Dracun's dared to engage in close quarter combat, that would be the last mistake they would ever make.

The Dracun force moved quickly, sending in mine detectors trucks ahead with a few guards. The two million assorted men, women, tanks, helicopters, and everything other Dracun military prepared for the climax of the war.
(The plan is secret IC) The attack would come in several waves.
The Dracun Commandos would come in first under the cover of darkness to look for any antiaircraft guns/emplacements. After that a small detachment of the Dracun Air Remnant would launch a full assault strike with Stealth Bombers and Fighters. Then three feints would occur, one in the left, then middle then right. After the three feints a massive bomber assault would begin to attack sentinel emplacements. After that the Dracun Elite would advance under the cover of the Dracun tanks. Once engaged with the enemy the troops would split into three groups. They would go back to the feint positions and assault the Sentinels there. While all of this was going on the Dracun Commandos would be wreaking havoc within the enemy lines.
(IC) Meanwhile Trade City put up a small fight with an anti-air war but it was being sent straight to the Underworld after explosion after explosion hit the city. Soon the Entire City would go up in flames if the battle did not go in favor of the Dracuns.
The Dracun Commandos were now in place and began preparing for their first strikes. The Dracun troops moved closer and closer to the Freek lines prepared to die and more importantly desperate to win.

(OOC: You stated that your trucks were moving in, and I stated my minefield extended a mile out from my line. So if your trucks are defusing my mines, they're within a mile of my troops.)
As the Dracun trucks approached the minefield they immediatly came under atrillery and MLRS fire from AMF forward positions. Round after round soared through the air, and Sentinel snipers sighted in their targets from over a mile a way with .50 cal sniper rifles and fired indescriminatly at anything giving off any infrared trace. Freek radar had been brought up from the rear along with another host of artillery and fresh reserves. With artillery and anti-air units spread throughout the center of the Freek forward postion and fresh troops moving towards the front, the Sentinel lines bulged and swelled greatly.
With the strike on Trade City almost over, AMF jets broke off from their attack and began flying towards the massive Sentinel host near the Dracun capital city. With an absence of captured runways, Brinks decided that he would use his Harriers for aerial support. With a small detachment of the AMF naval convoy shadowing the Sentinel movements on the land, the Freek Harriers were in the air and en route towards the front line.
With jets in the air and the ground forces read to sack the capital, the fleets that ahd been sailing southward towards the capital set out further to sea and headed eastward....towards the capital.

The Chancellor recieved news that AMF forces were moving towards Waterfall City.
"Order all troops in the city prepared, launch the remnant of the Air Guard to be prepared, have all artillery readied as well as the the SAMs. Have the troops moved forward to engage the AMF force in Trade City."
"Yes Chancellor" The officer bowed and went to his commands.
------------------------------------
The mine trucks blew up as they approached the line with a few getting through...enough. A small area was cleared and the Dracun Units surged forward. Air, and Ground moved shaking the earth as they moved. The final battles was approaching the war was coming to an end...one way or another.
