Red Wales gets tough on drugs

The government of Red Wales recently ordered a crackdown on illegal drugs and drug related crimes.

The Home Secretary, Ranjiv Desai is quoted as saying: "The people of Red Wales have had enough of drug dealers hanging around on street corners, needles lying around on floors of children's playgrounds and druggies breaking into pensioners houses and assaulting them for a few pennies. I know that we in the Democratic Socialist Party have done a lot to tackle drug crime, but, there is still a load more to do. Therefore I purpose that go for the drug smugglers, we bust the smuggling rings with force, if needs be. To do this we will use the SOCA's armed unit. They will, acting on intelligence, gathered by various other agencies, will go into suspected areas where drugs are beings smuggled, drug warehouses or even suspected places where drugs are being manufactured and raid the premises, using force if they need too. I put this before the honourable members if this most esteemed parliament, to be voted into law or rejected."

The law was passed by 325 for to 175 against.

The Liberal Party, the current official opposition has condemned the law, saying that the war on drugs is being lost and the only effective way to tackle the problem is to legalise them, the New Right Party has welcomed the law and hope it will help crush the drugs menace that haunts Red Wales.

The first drug smuggling ring to be dealt with was in Cardiff, it occurred at slightly before dusk the next day.

‘Sergeant’ one of the SOCA Anti-Drugs Unit snipers said. "I am in position, ready to stop anyone from escaping my end”. ‘Sergeant’ grimaced he hated these damn ear pieces…

"Good, we are about to move in, on my mark men" he said as he readied his weapon, as did the rest of the unit. He wasn’t sure how ready they were for this, but he was prepared to go anyway, the law wasn’t negotiable.

He signalled them to move in. They kicked down the front door to the flat "No-body move SOCA, Down on the floor" they cried out as they entered the flats room by room. This was an attempt at warning and gaining so co-operation, but in one of the rooms some of the criminals opened fire upon the unit. The officers and men wasted no time in cutting them down in a short gun battle. They made sure they were dead by kicking them lightly with their boots… The law had won this round, but how would future raids go?

In all 1 SOCA Anti-Drugs officer was wounded, 6 drug smugglers were arrested, 9 were killed and 1 escaped.
