CAS TC-10A2 Main Battle Tank
One of the newest Colerica Arms Syndicate’s building yards is the TC-10A2 Main Battle Tank. The A2 is a revamp of the previous TC-10A1. The TC-10A2 has undergone numerous minor changes to help produce a superior product to the TC-10A1. After Mikhai Niculescu purchased the Colerica Arms Syndicate earlier this year, he has expanded the role of what the CAS produces. The CAS' first land vehicle created under Niculescu's direction: the TC-10A2.

It’s a culmination of years of research and technology. Sporting a large 125mm smoothbore main gun and a single .50 caliber machine gun may not sound very impressive, but when it comes to combat, it’s hard to find a tank that can outmatch the TC-10.

The stowage for the main armament ammunition is in armored ammunition boxes behind sliding armor doors. Armor bulkheads separate the crew compartment from the fuel tanks. The tank is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system. This system automatically activates within 2 milliseconds of either a flash or a fire within the various compartments of the vehicle. The top panels of the tank are designed to blow outwards in the event of penetration by a HEAT projectile.

Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) warfare protection is provided by an overpressure clean-air conditioning air system, a radiological warning system, and a chemical agent detector. The crewmembers are individually equipped with protective suits and masks.

If required, TC-10 tanks can be completely fitted with steel encased depleted uranium armor. Encase depleted uranium armor has a density at least two-and-a-half times greater than steel. The depleted uranium armor will raise the total weight of the TC-10 tank to 60 tons, but offers vastly improved protection in the bargain.

Layers of composite steel armor on the bottom of the tank’s shell help protect against mines. The tank’s internal design, relying on the strongest geometric shape, the triangle, braces the side and front surfaces of the tank. This helps protect against hits from guided missiles, shape-charges, rocket-propelled grenades, et al.

The TC-10 is fitted with advanced CISRE jamming devices and blocking equipment. To help hide the TC-10 as best as it can, the Colerica Arms Syndicate has fitted the tank with thermal insulating panels, which help hide the tank’s heat signature.

Visual camouflage consists of extensive camouflage painting, a faint silhouette, and smoke-less engine exhaust. The TC-10 can also deploy smoke screen charges that will help hide the tank, temporarily, in a cloud of thick smoke. Advanced acoustics equipment has been added to lower the sound emission from the engine and treads of the tank. Using materials similar in design to those used for the F-117 Nighthawk and B-2 Spirit aircrafts, the TC-10 has a relatively low radar signature. Mind you, it’s not impervious to radar.

The TC-10’s radar system is top-notch. The NVE radar system onboard the TC-10 provides the tank crew with the locations of incoming missiles, aircraft, enemy armored vehicles, et al. The NVE radar system also gives a detailed layout of the geography and contour of the landscape around the tank.

All in all, the CAS TC-10 is a remarkable tank to have in any nation’s armored divisions. This is a CAS exclusive. Sorry, production rights are currently not for sale.
