Angolan Apartheid

After recurring anti-white violence and rising crime rates, the decision for complete racial separation in Angola has been made. Hospitals, prisons, parks, transportation, living quarters, and all public areas are now set aside for each race. Certain areas are off limits to blacks, the same goes for whites.

Any black Angolans seen on or around white areas will be immediately detained and dealt with. Any Zarbians committing this offense will receive a warning and on the second time will be sent home to mainland Zarbia to face consequences there. Police forces are heavily patrolling major cities as protests are expected.

"It is not beneficial for our people to be mixing with those inferior to them," stated President Viktor Trotzig on the issue.

Similar steps may be taken in Zarbia's other African colonies if needed.

The Burnsian Desert

Looking back on past incidents of racial seperation, it has come to our opinion in the WHL HQ in The Burnsian Desert that one race will suffer more than the other in terms of living conditions, food, and medical attention. Acknowledging this, we wish to set up aid stations around your country, mostly on the borders of the black and white zones. Of course, you are under no obligation to equalize the plight of your people.

Just look at it this way: The happier people are, the less they'll want to get equal rights.

Zarbian government officials in Angola would like to know exactly what kind of aid will be provided and if it will be available to both whites and blacks. Normally this would be controlled using force but perhaps a peaceful agreement can be worked out.

It will have free hot meals, free medical attention and free education. This will be available to anyone who comes in. We encourage a 'neutral zone' to be placed around the aid stations so that both blacks and whites can get care. If not, we will create seperate stations.

For now this project will be authorized and carefully watched over. Instead of neutral areas, we prefer to have black and white aid camps established to discourage mixing of races.

United Cultures opposes this decision but will take no action unless either blacks or whites are found being oppressed or having their rights taken.

That's acceptable, however we do hope that you encourage joint camps to promote equality later.

In Angola, blacks have far less rights than Zarbians. They cannot vote, have senior ranking jobs, form clubs or organizations, and they are separated from all whites.

Every few months there are periods of ethnic cleansing where blacks are rounded up and killed.

Although muted by the soundproofing laid in the cabin interior, a low hum could still be heard from the plane's powerful engines that maintained the heavily modified Midas 474's speed of 560 MPH as it traveled across the Atlantic Ocean, eastward from Eredron, for a tour of Eredron's African principalities by the Consul.

The inside of Liberty One, the official aircraft of the Consul of the Republic, was tranquil; it was evening in Eredron, and many of the passengers were relaxing, viewing the multiple television displays located throughout the cabin displaying live news feeds and videos, or sleeping.

Like the rest of the interior, the chair in which the Consul sat was a dark graphite, leather, with a silver-threaded likeness of the Eredronian flag sewn onto the headrest. Resting with one hand idly scratching his chin, Consul Fariz looked out the window towards the deep purple skies outside. Although barely a week in office, Fariz had quickly adapted to his new life, showing no signs of losing the energy and momentum that had dominated his campaign.

Around him were seven of his advisers, some official, some not, all seated around a conference table.

"Regardless of what our response will be, we must make one, sir, that much is certain. With your policies, it would be impossible not to address this issue, especially due to it's proximity," said his chief of staff.

"Military action days after being elected would be political suicide," said another advisor.

"I did not say military action, I merely said we must respond, in some way."

"I would not rule out a military response," said the head of the Military Command Staff. "Zarbia is in a precarious situation; he cannot afford another front being opened."

"Perhaps we could use this as leverage to force them to end this policy?"

"Write up a speech for the day after we land," said Fariz. "I'll meet with the local representatives, our own guys, then hold a conference about Angola the next day before I tour the rest of the city and visit the troops."

"Speaking of the troops, and given the situation facing Zarbia, I would consider it wise to raise our national alert level, especially while you are on the ground. Continuous air flights, and increase our ground patrols near the border. Mauritius should probably raise the alert as well."

"Make it so," said Fariz.

"Sir, we've received notice from our ground radar of naval conflict off the eastern coast of Africa; naval and air combat has been reported," said the head of MCS, entering the room with two security agents in tow. "This trip is over."

Over the intercom, the pilot's voice could be heard. "Attention all passengers, at this time I would ask for everyone to return to your seats immediately. We will be altering course. Please do not unfasten your seat belts until further notice."

Switching to broadcast over radio, he continued. "This is Liberty One, making course change and preparing for unscheduled return. Request private airspace for landing at Ariin International Airport."
