The President has made an opening speech at the launch of the three colony ships asigned to begin the search for a new home world.
"Today the Republic of Kyanges prepares to launch a major endevour into the black of space. An endevour which will take us into the limits of our imagination and light our firy spirit of exploration.
It's been 10 years since the day Kyangesians claiming to be travelers from the future suddenly appeared in our time. That day will be forever remembered in the history as the day our nation leapt forward. That day our people leapt forward in an unprecedented way, and the day our peoples united in a way no one thought was possible.
Today, the culmination of that progress is about to open a new chapter in our great history. Today, we launch our first steps into the dark unknown of space, and we continue the long legacy of our people, as we begin the move to a new world. The three ships you see behind me on the pad are the three torches we carry to bring light to the darkness, and to forge a strong Kyanges presense in space. The crews that they carry are the finest examples of our people. They are the ones who will represent our people, and carry Kyanges into the final frontier."
