(Invite RP) Construction of new Parliament building

Parliament have today approved $3.5 billion for the reconstruction of the devastated Parliament Hill district of Ottawa, with the bulk of the money going to rebuild the Parliament buildings.

The old buildings will be rebuilt to more or less the way they looked pre-war, however, there will be a few memorial statues on the grounds in honor of those who died during what has been dubbed the "Trans-Canada War".

There will be a groundbreaking ceremony in three weeks' time. Foriegn dignitaries are welcome to attend.

It is rumoured has it, that President Anthony R. Wittrock of the Federal Republic of Canada will be the honoured guest at the memorial service, being a man who resolved the Trans-Canada Conflict and a former Prime Minister of the Dominon of Canada before the country splitted in two.
