The Pope of the Mississippian Roman Catholic Church, Herman Von Thaller I, has declared, "We hereby declare, that in accordance with the will of the Lord Jesus Christ, we declare Roger Fabus to be a saint and a prophet sent by God."



Currently Roger Fabus has a book of his predictions/prophecies that he started writing from age 13 on, when he claims a single voice commanded him, "Write" and what to write. At first he did nothing, thinking it was his imagination playing tricks. But then a force from all around his body pressed down on him and commanded, "Write!" and so he did write.

He has predicted various things, from the dates of birth of future children, the height and weight of his future children at their births. Important dates of future battles, the future map of the Federation, and other important dates.


As the Pope said, "From this day forward, Roger shall be referred to as St. Fabus."

OOC: I'm not a religious guy, and I'm certainly not Catholic by any stretch of the imagination, but from what I've read, I'm pretty sure that the requirements for Canonisation (in the Roman Catholic Religion, not sure about Anglican/Protestant, Eastern Orthodox, etc) include:

- Being Dead

- At least three Church-recognised "Miracles" from the person up for Canonisation

- The founding of their own Religious Order during their lifetime

Just though I'd finish that. Jesus said that after being accused of a sin. He was born a Jew. And was sent ot be the Mesiah of the Jews to regain their Home Land. Which is why Moses led the Hebrews from Egypt. Jesus never intended to start Christianity but to et the Jews know he had come to give them back their land, but the Romans ruled Jerusalem and didn't like anyone speaking out against their Pagan Beliefs

Yes, I believe that is what it is, except I do not believe you need your own religious order. Besides, without the Jewish faith, Christianity would never of existed (the Old Testament is, of course, the Hebrew texts). To me, this sounds like a way to glorify this nation's leader, and I'm sure he had a hand in it, and I don't mean religious

I don't really see why people are getting so worked up... I mean in order to recognise this each nation would need to recognise Decisive Action as having the Pope, which most nations don't concider to be the case. Many nations have claimed Popes in Nationstates, but the one I'm sticking with personally is the Pope in Holy Vatican See, a nation which RPs the Vatican in Nationstates and has probably one of the most recognised Pope in NS.

Seeing as the religion only really allows for one "Pope" all others are not part of our religion and as such don't count in our view. I suppose you could concider it an insult to your religion for another person claiming to be Pope to make someone a Saint, but mostly the Iuthian religious community are ignoring the claims and assuming it's a completely different religion all together.

Creation

One momant saw the Cannonization of Roger Fabus, Czar of Decisive Action.

But this moment in itself was too much. Watching the sin of Mississippi unfolding to new heights, to new qualities of desperate heresy and evil, of lies and sin, The Lord decided that it was time to end it.

And another moment saw a bright light, a thunder beyond thunder, a choir of Seraphim descended upon Mississippi, and their song was beautiful to those of good intentions and true believes, and it was a plague, a turture to those of evil intentions, to those who denied their coloured brethren their most basic rights.

And as they sang their song of perfect beauty and symmetry, as a light as pure as the sun itself shined upon those lands, cursed by its rulers, yet blessed by the holy presence of the Seraphim, its brightness not hurting the eyes of those seein it, its perfection touching, raising everything to a new level of perfection and understanding, the song formed words as the Seraphim spoke the truth.

They sang about the ways with which Roger Fabus and Herman Von Thaller had attempted to corrupt the hearts of their people. They sang about the truth, the truth that The Lord loves all of his children, equally, regardless of gender or colour, or any other differences, even religion, between them. They sang about this, and many other things, and they sang a song about how the people of Mississippi would have to rise, to punish those who had seduced, betrayed them, to end evil and to eventually, finally follow the true path, the path of enlightment, the path of pure beauty, the path the Seraphim were showing to them.

And everyone, be it men, women, or children, black or white people, christians jews, everyone in Mississippi heard the song, and the Seraphim knew that they would understand.

That they would change.

And many tears were wept, many truths were told, many lies uncovered.

And in this moment of perfect beauty and absolute truth, the world, or at least Mississippi, changed.

And at last, they spoke, no, sang the final words.

You, people of Fabus, and those who helped him, repent, for your punishment will be severe, yet, even you, corrupted by darkness, by satan, as you are, shall find salvation in The Lord's infinite love, and you shall be forgiven, when the time has come.

Your ways have come to an end, and the future shall bea bright one. A future of the people, a future without you.

And as they sang this words, eternal beauty for those of pure intentions, cruel pain for those with evil in their hearts, they left the lands, lands just blessed by them, lands that would now once again be lands of beauty and perfection, as the Seraphim took them from those who missused them, and gave them to those who would treasure and love them, to create paradise on earth.
