Emperor Erik Kersk approved a law, today, that permits the private practice of any religion and disallows the imperial government from favoring any religion. This law comes as a shock to many inhabitants of the empire who have long lived under the rule of a Christian majority, however some people were happy to see the newly found neutrality of the government.

"This law has been a long time coming. I'm a Christian, but I won't force that view on anyone." - Emperor Erik Kersk.

"I didn't pass any law, I declared a current law null and void, in essence invalidating an unjust law. Which I am ordained by God to do. Will you obey me or burn in hell for all eternity, for the Lord has determined I should do His work here on Earth, and all those who don't heed what He tells me to tell them, will burn and writhe in agony in the fiery pits of hell."

We are a bit suprised. The Parthian Government funds the Zoroastrian Faith of Parthia and no one complains about that.

"We will not suppress any religion, civilians may follow the Zoroastrian faith here, if they wish. We will not treat them any differently." -Erik-

"I can assure you, that Roger Fabus is at the least a very learned prophet, at the most, perhaps he is the Second Coming."

“Have you seen the latest from DA?” Allens asked the Director.

Kerrik turned to the window, looking to the skyline, “Of course, my friend… it is all over the late night shows, after all.”

“And what do you think?”

“About the rampant egomaniacal behavior or about claiming to be the second coming?” Kerrik smiled ghostly. “Perhaps we should allow him his Koresh moment, or his slight amount of Quixote-like tilting. After all, it isn’t morally correct to execute the stunted and deluded minds of the specially impaired… no, we should simply leave him in that ward of a nation, let him bounce from his padded walls.”

“But, sir, he’s declared himself God-”

“There’s still a man in Russia who thinks he’s the heir of Czar Nicholas, but no one has yet put him down.” Again Kerrik gave that faint smile, “Still, this man is claiming to be God and contradictorily waving about his ferrous phalli, and that alone is enough to pronounce him rabid. Perhaps he need be given an electroshock treatment to reset his disabled synapses, or thrashed about with a crop.”

Kerrik turned to his second in command. “But then again, perhaps he is simply playing a role of a leader, like a child trying on his father’s shoes. Maybe he is but misguidedly playing the notion of Messiah… but if he is, then he must be shown the truth. For he is not even fit to play leader, and his ill fated attempt to storm Olympus will only result in his fall, like Bellephron before him.” He nodded. “If he continues this path of grandiose bombast and impersonating a deity, it will be our duty as both Pest Control and guardians to loose Olympus’ lightning.”

"I would like to clear something up, I am not God nor am I the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. That would be a blaspheme for me to claim so. I apologize that our Pope is a little overly-loyal to me. I am not God, I am merely a humble messenger working for God."

The Pallawish Nation doesnt agree with the law as all nations should have compulsory church service and donations. (The church supports only Christianity).... We urge to to revoke this law.
