New Zambuda

History: The Emirate of New Zambuda was founded apporximately 400 years ago by Arab traders. The traders were searching for new trading routes and and naturally they loved the location. Unfortunately European colonists wanted the pristine location of Zambuda. In 1488 English colonists took control of the island and established a trading post. Between 1500 and 1589 Zambuda experienced a unprecedented growth period. By 1600 the area that would form the Emirate housed nearly 1,000,000 colonists. In 1605 the colonists hanged His Majesty's Tax Collectors and formally declared independence. Fortunately no blood was shed, His Majesty did not want to dispatch his troops to such a far away destination. On Christmas Day 1604 Zambuda officially became the Emirate of New Zambuda. Today the Emirate is rapidly emerging technology and commerce hub.
