HRB's new project: F-14E Hyper Tomcat

Hard Rock Beyond

Hard Rock Beyond's president revealed the development of a new line of F-14's. He called this the "F-14E Hyper Tomcat", a major improvment over the aged F-14A, F-14B, and currently used F-14D. The major changes are as follows: Higher cruise altitude, better wing sweep at mach speeds and at sub-sonic speeds, new engine, and the addition of a "wetpoint", holding more fuel.

The model currently stands as follows:

F-14E "Hyper Tomcat"

Crewmen: Two - Pilot and Radar Intercept Officer
Speed: Mach 2.3 to 2.4 depending on conditions with full wing sweep at 45,000 feet, Mach 1.2 to 1.25 depending on conditions with full wind sweep at sea level, Mach 0.8 at sea level with wings unswept, Mach 0.7 combat speed
Engine: (top secret)
Thrust: (Unknown)
Maximum Altitude: 60,000 feet in inner space flight suit (for protection)
Options: Radar-absorbing paint, enclosed hardpoints, extended range fighter, training version (3 seat), nuclear phoenix missiles (create fallout at only 1km, designed to damage bombers and keep wreck from being searched in fear of China Syndrom), and finally, my favorite, reverse-wing sweep capability for greatly improved handling.
Hardpoints: 9 in standard version (up to 6 Phoenix and 2 sidewinders, and a 1000lb pound or 125 gallon fuel tank), 8 in enclosed hardpoints version (up to 4 Phoenix, 2 Sparrows or AMMRAMs, and 2 sidewinders)
Specs: Not yet measured
Munitions: All JDAM bombs up to 2000lbs, but only 1 2000lb at a time, Phoenix, multiable other A-to-A missiles including Sidewinder, AMMRAM, and Sparrow, 6-barrel 20mm cannon taking depleted Uranium bullets
Other improvements: Fully updated avionics, "glass cockpit", simulated gauges for ease, "look and shoot" technology (HUD shown in helmet so pilot can look, lock on, and fire missiles from about 8 o'clock to 4 o'clock postions) avaible.

Cost:
Basic: $40,000,000.00
Basic with 20 Phoenix: $50,000,000 (Phoenix are .5 million each)
+ $5,000,000 for Radar-absorbing paint
+ $7,500,000 for enclosed hardpoints (will take 2 NS years to manufacture)
+ $10,000,000 for training version
+ $2,500,000 for extended range
+ $1,500,000 for each Nuclear Phoenix, as well as UN membership for unfamiliar buyers
+ $20,000,000 for reverse-wing sweep (will take 3 NS years to manufacture, redesign of sweep is necessary, and takes additional time)

I reserve the right to not accept the transaction for any reason...

Allies of mine and Sonic Hero Land, you will be charged 50% normal rate for each aircraft up to 500, over that, u pay full for each, and it "refreshes" every 7 ns years.

You'll need to have moved the wing piviot joints back to accomidate the for the wide angle sweep, so you can control the aircraft (and without canards for that matter). I would also suggest posting your engine and thrust specifications as well as the dimentions compared to the origional tomcat if your going to be exporting it. I also ask what you mean by enclosed hardpoints, if you mean internal bays you'll need to redesign the entire airframe, if you mean recessed hardpoints, i doubt you'll be able to carry 20 long range missiles. Recessed hardpoints hardly do anything against radar anyway, as long as the missiles are external they'll bounce back a very large radar signal.

Also you may want to post the number of hard-points or how many missiles it can hold. If this thing does have interal bays, then tell how many missiles each can hold. O, and Anarresa is correct in which if you do have internal bays you will have to change the airframe, if not the whole aircraft.

no its saying taht 20 Phoenix come w/ the plane, but w/ enclosed hardpoints, u can carry only 4 at a time, and they drop out the back, lose about 10ft, and the thrust starts... ive not come out w/ specs for the plane, and I need a appx of thrust to reach such speeds at such altitudes...

ill take 350 of the stander ones i also want to go with that missiles

$7,000,000,000 for my ally, normally $14,000,000,000 for anyone else. Order accepted, will be delieved next NS year.

If you want 20 phoenix missiles each plane, the cost will go to $8,750,000,000 and you must post yes or no, and if not, do not reply.

Bump, and Knuckles123, Phoenix are included without charge.

Ok, you get the missiles free this time, and order is being processed, they should arrive in a short while. Thank you for shopping with Hard Rock Beyond!

Why on earth would you make a 3 seat training version? Thats odd....
Hard Rock Beyond
02-12-2004, 12:46
Training version for training pilots and radar intercept officers in troubled times... The 3rd person can be a trainer for either pilot or radar intercept officer... it is set so the training officer has the ability to override either postion if there is a problem or threat.

It also works well as a pilot's test-flight, where he has control, and the training officer can observe the pilot or R.I.O.

Can I have a 500 of the standard version with full phoenix missle loadouts?
Hard Rock Beyond

Hmm, almost good for you, Kabuton, but it says that you need 1.5 billion more to purchase this ammount of aircraft, so, I will drop order down to 470 aircraft, costing $23,500,000,000. Thank you for shopping with Hard Rock Beyond!
