Jarridia to host music festival

Jarridia
01-12-2004, 19:25
OOC: It has already begun, please join in the festivities (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=7842785).

In order to display the significance of musical culture to the world, and to improve our image as a peaceful, friendly nation, Jarridia has decided to open its borders and have a music festival. This party will be located in Kiakor, Jarridia and will be centered starting at the JIAMG (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=6754509#post6754509) (Jarridian International Art and Music Gallery) and will spread through the streets of the city itself. There will be many stages open to all forms of music.

In total, there are around 160 sound stages, and over 200 groups have been booked to play at this festival. Most of these are from Jarridia or other WWA nations, but there is plenty of room for foreign groups that wish to join in. This is a perfect opportunity for groups wishing to break into the international scene, because there will be prestigious record label representatives allocated at many of the sound stages.

This event will last a total of 5 days, and there is no cost for general admission, and even the price for entrance to the gallery has been scapped for this special occassion. We do however ask that you make a small donation to our cause to bring further culture into the world.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and I will give you an answer as soon as possible.

This thread is just a sign-up, not the actual festival. Thank you.

The Canadian Diplomats within the borders of Jarridia will be joining the festival and a selective few of Canadian Servicemen. Also our very own classic rock band will be reuniting for the last time for this performance, The Ullmans, with a few of their great hit singles to be song. At the moment this is the only group of artist that has been interested in being involved. The Canadian Government will also be willing to put money to the show to decrease the cost of our Jarridian hosts.
