Assimilation of S. Korea [Earth III]

Japan, Phoenixius North Pacific Command

A short man walks accross the compound, leaving a small building covered in various communications and anti-detection equipment. He walks towards a grand palace-esq structure, housing the officer cadre of the Phoenixius North Pacific Command (PNPC). The man ignored the various people wandering around the compund, enjoying the unseasonal sunshine, and passed through the security check.

A knock on the audience chambers door, preceeded the entrance of the Intelligence Commander, coming to brief the commander of the PNPC forces. Walking up to the man, he placed a small piece of paper in front of him, and waited until he had read it.

"This just came in, did it?" The general asked.

"Yes Sir, I brought it over myself."

"You know what this means, don't you?"

"Yes Sir - Eternal Dragons is not going to like this."

"You know what must be done - mobilise the forces."

The Intelligence Commander turned around and walked back to his building, preparing the orders that would be sent to the majority of PNPC forces.

The general dropped the paper on his desk, and walked towards his bedroom - it was time to rouse the troops. On the desk the piece of paper read:

To: Commander of PNPC
From: Phoenixius High Command
Sub: South Korea

We are authorising you to launch an attack on South Korea. Use any means neccessary. Avoid conflict with Eternal Dragons troops if possible - however if they attempt to prevent you from completing your objective, you may proceed as you feel fit. We wish to hear the assimilation of South Korea into the Empire very soon - we anticipate little to no resistance. We have sent all current intelligence to you.

We wish you luck.

Sea of Japan, PNPC Invasion Force
The first invasion force of modern times for Phoenixius was set and preparing to go. Supplies for two months were on board, along with tons of ammunition. There were already various ships patrolling the sea between Japan and South Korea, however the majority of the invasion force, including the aircraft carriers and larger ships were still in port. As the final preparations were being made, the General made his way onto the flagship, ready to prepare his cabin for the voyage and war.

By the end of the week, preparations were finished, and the final ships left port, being waved off by their families, on their way to war. Korea was days of sailing away, so the troops practiced all the while - they wanted to show the world what they were made of.

As the fleet moved towards South Korea, planes flew on ahead, dropping leaflets, and broadcasting messages to the population. A sample of the propaganda is below:

___________________________________________________________

People of South Korea, rejoice! You shall soon be part of a grand empire! Though undoubtedly your own government has told you how bad we, that we would sooner rape and pillage your fair country than let you be, that you would loose all your freedoms. To that we say NAY! When we assimilate a country into our empire, they retain their cultural identity, and even get to keep their current government, so long as it behaves towards the Phoenixius Empire. The only difference to your normal lives is the possibilty of having to go to war against other countries.

This is a small price to pay to gain access to the global market, to sell your wares to the entire world. And for those of you with family in North Korea, we can arrange something with Eternal Dragons to allow you to visit your families without fear of being shot.

Please, open your arms and welcome us to your fair country. Though we bring warships and troops, this is because we fear that your government is not going to be reasonable - we wish to keep casualties down. As soon as we believe that your country will behave, the troops will leave, and only an administrative group shall be left.

The Fleet arrived within South Koreas waters hours later, prelimenary reports showing that loyal troops had indeed mobilised, but there were various factions that were on their side.

An hour after reaching their destination, Phoenixius aircraft dropped yet more leaftlets on the population. Hoping for a peaceful resolution to this, the admiral ordered tranquilisers loaded into the bombers to pacify the enemy troops.

After a message was broad cast from the South Koreans, stating that they had no intention of allowing imperialistic countries to take them over, various aircraft began to launch from the aircraft carriers. Troops readied themselves in for the invasion, while naval captains began searching for targets for their guns.

The first shots of the war, was when the entire fleet opened fire with their main guns, shells screeching towards various military compounds. A deafening boom rolled across the sea, and far inland the initial round of the war could be heard. Buildings crumbled and windows shattered with the shockwaves, as the ships kept firing, again and again until all military establishments within range had not only been destroyed, but completely and utterly wiped out.

Then the aircraft came, flying deep into the country, they braved the AA weapons to hit military installations that the ships couldn't fire at. Various fighter groups attempted to halt them, but with the main command section back in the cities on the coasts, the defense was ragged and ineffectual. Losses were sustained on the Phoenixius side, but there were many more koreans that lost their lives.

"Sir, it seems like the entire South Korean defense network is crumbling - we believe that their military high command was situated in one of the military comlexes be destroyed in the city."

"Really? Interesting, this war should be over by christmas. Send the order to the troops to begin their advance, and be launched by landing craft. Send the paratroopers in too."

"Excellent sire."

The Phoenixius ground forces began to launch in their landing crafts, paratroopers preparing themselves and their aircraft for a foray deep into the Korean heartland. It would take only a short while before the first Phoenixius' foot was set upon korean soil.

Official Statement by N.Korean leader:

We condem this action and therefore ask you to leave within 24 hours or face serious repercussions....As although we may be of different political background...We shall not let fellow Koreans die as part of opposing country invasion......Therefore unless you call a truce we shall anniliate any troops that dare enter South korea...

So I repeat heed my warning..........

===Seoul==============

The time had come as commander sing-jin-koh read his assigments with a certain amount of excitement about the scale of the operation...

TO: Eternal Dragon Elite guard
From: North Korean Central Command

You have been clearance for Operation reunification......We expect no less then a full sabotage and capture of major Infrastructure and government within 24 hours commander.......The time has come to embrace our fellow koreans.....

The commander looked at the instructions periodically, whilst many others in seoul did the same ready to launch their plan of ending seoul's democratic neighbours.

Soon the skills of the most feared and largest special forces arsenal in the world would commence into action...

-------Several Minutes later in seoul----------

======Government Headquarters======

The officials nodded solemly as they prepared to spring into action, their faces of a somewhat serious nature. Nevertheless they began their movement by making their way towards the main cabinet meeting room, their hands firmly griping the suitcase bombs with impudent skill.

A few minutes later they arrived at the location, entering the doors which held the president without a sign of supiscion. However as they entered the room, the officials turned to face them, their eyes somewhat puzzuled and curious at this intrusion. This indeed was the moment they waited for as they nodded at each other, before reaching into their pockets with there free hands available, upon doing so pressing a small red switch located there. Upon this sudden action a moment of shock gripped the room as a huge blast suddenly erupted from the suitcase, sending the room itself into disripute as debris and tables flew across the room alike. All that could appear to be heard was the sound of tainted souls screaming as many lay dead or dying, including the special forces who commited the crime. In time this would be known as one of the greatest coups, but untill that happened many more things had to be done.

===Just outside Headquarters========

Another team of spys approached the area, asking the police to corden it off as they checked on the surroundings, their fake I.D'S in had. Upon arrival they removed their silenced berretas and entered the main gates, shooting at any personal that dared to move or come into site, the spy's now splitting up to eliminate any witnesses as such.

======Suitcase Bomb room===========

The Alpha team entered the arena, scanning the room for any possible sign of life or movement. Slowly but surely the lifted various debris and objects left from the mark of the blast, revealing the two dead agents, and the sole remaining survivor which was the president. Seeing him still alive they walked up to the victem covered debris and pointed their weapons at his head, before releasing the trigger and sending several bullets towards the former presidents skull, most likely killing him upon impact.

=====Several Minutes later========

The teams withdrew after their little incursion, before making a brief report to the commander in charge orginizing the isolation of the site

"Everyones dead........They killed them all" The rather tall agent said, a fake sense of tears emitting from his face.

However as the commander of the armed forces nodded, the agent smirked slightly before sending several bullets towards the commanders heart , with the berreta hidden beneath his attire. As this happened the rest of the agents almost similtaniously opened fire on the S.korean forces sending dozens of bullets hurtling across the arena at the unprepared forces, despite this some managed to return fire injuring all but a few as the N.Korean agents tried to escape.

Elsewhere the agents did similar attacks like this to various key government installations, whilst also mounting full-scale attacks upon aiports, Bases,ports within the city. If this operation succeded they were hoping not much loss of civilian live could be achieve as this was more a battle of hearts and minds.

-=Official Message=-
To: N. Korean Leader
From: PNPC Commander
Subj: S. Korea

We understand your feelings toward this matter. However as we have alread stated we do not intentionally harm civilians. We wish to keep thie government and infrastructure in place, and just have taxes and maybe troops in times of war. Otherwise they will be effectively running themselves. CUrrently it seems as though there is little resistance by the S. Korean military, and we presume the military command was destroyed in our inital bombardment.

However if you continue to act belligerently, we must unfortunately consider your men hostile, and any attempt to claim S. Korea for yourselves will be dealt with swiftly. I have heard that the S. Korean president is dead - suitcase bomb it seems. Though there is little evidence to support my claim, with your current attitude towards the S. Koreans and us generally, I believe that you ordered that strike on the president.

Again do not enter S. Korea - your lives shall be forfeit otherwise.

PNPC Commander

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seoul
The Phoenixius troops landed in the various ports. Civilians were around, though the majority were merely curious, rather than belligerent. There was almost no military presence at all - just a few groups of soldiers further inland, guarding the few remaining governmental and military buildings - the citizenary were beginning to riot with the loss of family that could have been saved if the president had surrendered to the invading forces. Of course they also held little love for the Phoenixius troops for the killing of their families, but their government was and easier target to hurt and reach.

Part of the PNPC fleet moved up the coast on either side, preparing to engage any Eternal-dragons vessels that attempted to attack S. Korea. Paratroopers were sent to the border, where they secured the major border crossings - fortunately the Non Militarized Zone was still there - a relic from the past. This allowed the paratroopers to quickly gain control with minimum resistance from the S. Koreans, or the Eternal-dragonians.

Upon reading the brief report, Sephoto smirked evilly, an obvious intention entering his mind. So finally after gathering his thoughts he began to send a message to certain units currently emplaced within mountains and underground bunkers, they of course being the largest guns currently known today.
===================================Encrypted transmission======
TO: All indirect Divisions emplaced beyond the D.M.Z.
From: North Korean Central Command

"Ok generals.........If the enemy attempt to enter anywhere near the D.M.Z.....Show them the might of our Indirect units.............May the spirit of my adopted father be with you.........."

==============End Transmission==============

Whilst this was happening, messages were sent across the various new armoured divisions just north of the D.M.Z to cross the border and engage the enemy troops, after the initial bombardment.

Missile silos were also put on alert to prepare for a onslaught, whilst elsewhere in southern North Korean airbases, various F-16's and recently modified mig 29's were being refuelled and ready to go to war. Indeed if this was war, the North Korean's would no doubt win.

=========Few hours later in Kaesong 1:02 pm=========

Various Mi-2 Hoplite's were now fully fuelled up and ready to go out on their first mission in years. And despite much western media claiming the Korean pilots were pathetic at best, they were indeed ready to prove them wrong.

========1:15 Hoplite's set off==============

The pilots now scurried to their helicopters as the order was given, resulting in the skys to be filled with at least two dozen or so spy planes as such. This nimble and agile airplanes were of course easy prey to enemy anti-air missiles and such of that sort, however being cheap and effective the info they provide would most likely come to be invaluable.

======Just A few miles south of the D.M.Z=========

The hoplite's continued on their way in a discreet V formation, their engines of course cut down to lower smoke and sound emissions. Upon arrival of the area they seemed to come across what appeared to be several divisions of paratroopers, engaging minimal S.korean forces in an attempt to capture the major border areas.

Seeing this the Hoplite's scampered from their positions towards there home airbases, one somehow being destroyed by what appeared to be engine failure.

Now they had the description of the enemy they could wreak havoc upon the enemy lines.

1 Hoplite destroyed due to engine failure
=====Elsewhere across the seas East and west of North Korea========

As part of Sephoto's orders, roughly 10 ships of the Missile craft divisions were ordered to protect the S.Korean east and west seas, engaging in hit and run attacks by firing their deadly effective silkworm missiles, before retreating once again towards their positions within the N.Korean sea.

=========Seoul=======

The attack indeed had a amazing effect on the S.Korean control of the Capital, as many of the special forces operatives now controlled important ports, airports, Government Infrastructures, military bases and many more key sites all across the city. Indeed the only resistance that now remained was the small eastern districts which often stretched only a couple of miles at a time, this was mostly likely due to various S.korean forces joining or even surrendering to the cause.

Seeing their control now of the city, many radio and T.V waves started to broadcast the message on large speakers towards the many disarrayed police forces and civilians.

"Please do not fight your N.Korean allies in dire times like this......The weak Western puppets have now fallen and a new united Korean cause is being presented.......Now don't be a fall and fight us.....Instead join the D.P.N.K and fight for united Korea.....In return for defeating the invaders....A new dawn of Korean strength shall emerge.......NOW LET US TAKE ARM!!!!!!.....To sign up just go to your nearest police station where you will be provided with basic weapons and training......"

This message was then repeatedly broadcasted, and the results of it were alarming as tens of thousand smashed their way into police station for recruitment. This was indeed going according to plan....

As part of the enemy advance into Seoul, the N.Koreans countered by detonating a string of remote-control underground bombs within the eastern districts which was now becoming a starter point for the enemy attack. Small Clashes were also announced, as a few hundred or so groups of the former police and army divisions fired on enemy advances with small Mortar and Ak.47 attacks. 200 or so Paladins and a few dozen Patriots also fired from their positions in central Seoul at opposition forces.

Seeing the threat increasing, the Elite guard leaders ordered 25 Abraham tanks to reinforce the police force.

79 Injured in some way
12 Army officers killed

========Artillery Emplacements, within range of the D.M.Z enemy paras====

As the enemy was distracted in Seoul, Artillery emplacements were now set up and ready to fire upon the enemy paratroopers.

Upon confirmation by the Higher command they commenced firing, as arguably the most powerful guns in the world, the 170MM M-1989 indirect units commenced a barrage of shells per minute upon enemy forces along the D.M.Z, the close area of the enemy most likely making it more effective then ever. As the enemy succumbed too attacks from the various 170 MM M-1989 positioned along the mountains, the other self propelled units started to fire.

They knew that with this intense bombardment, the paratroopers would most likely not last more then a few minutes at the very least. But this was not the worst of it as sooner or late the N.koreans would release their full feared indirect arsenal. And even so with this barrage, the N.Koreans felt it would be a waste of shells to fire more then half of its self-propelled artillery.

"Sir we have reports of major N. Korean involvement all over S. Korea. It seems that their opperatives were responsible for the presidents death, and are now in control of various military and governmental buildings. They have rallied some civilians to their cause, and those combined with police are facing our troops who are landing. We also have reports of artillery fire from across the DMZ. S. Korean defences are practically nil now, but we're going to have to face off against Eternal-dragons troops instead."

"Very well. Order an airstrike against the artillery positions, and get some reinforcements over to the paratroopers. Meanwhile get our ships to blockade the N. Korea ports - I don't want any more raids by N. Korea ships - fire upon any vessel that leaves the ports."

Sea, either side of N. Korea
The ships sail up the coast, deploying ships at each port - their orders: to destroy any ship leaving port. They set themselves just out of range of any coastal defences around each port, but submarines were deployed closer to warn of any out-going ships.

South of the DMZ
The paratroopers were being decimated by the bombardment, though they were beginning to reach cover, and avoid the worst of the rain of death. There was only about half the troops left, as the ground shook beneath the bombardment. Through the sounds of the artillery, the paratroopers could hear engines starting up, and coming closer - much closer.

Suddenly a flight of Gencor-R/V's flew right overhead, scanning for the locations of the artillery. Locating the positions, they locked on with their missiles and released them towards the positions. As they flew out, AA fire downed 2 aircraft.

Seoul
The troops pushed forwards slowly, gaining each metre of ground painfully. Though the police and civilians were untrained for this war, they had the benefit of better defences. Even so the Phoenixius troops pushed them back. After they had managed to clear a fairly large beachhead, tanks were brought in, to combat the icreasing numbers of enemy tanks that the troops were begining to engage.

Sea of North Korea, East and west side:

The small but effective missile ships watched intensely as the enemy ships began to cross the shady international border, their silkworms missiles about to give them a hell of a battering. Anyway as they came within range, they commenced their mission. So with the swiftness of the wind the two divisions present on each side of the N.Korean sea decided to move in a sort of claw formation, a move that would result in the flanking of the enemy. When performed, they would fire their deadly unknown silkworm missiles, originally designed to handle superpowers that may have opposed them such as Russia and China. Nevertheless as they moved the nimble custom-made crafts into the formation, they were met with a barrage of guns and missile fire by the enemy, resulting in a few cases of major and minor damages to the crafts. Upon finishing the formation, they let loose a barrage of silkworm missiles aimed for the weakness of most ships, the rear and the sides. And despite how heavily armoured they may be, it would only take one precise silkworm missile to cause a major upset.

====A few minutes later===========

Seeing as their mission was completed, they retreated in their usual hit and run formation, the air now riddled with plumes of black smoke and debris caused from the battle.

As this was happening the next stage of the naval battle was launched. So as the smoke began to clear the torpedo crafts began their attacks, doing much like their predecessors with hit and run tactics, apart from the fact that they were using torpedoes.

Also seeing as apparently subs were in the area, 2 delta IV and 2 Borei 925 subs were dispatched to counter the threat. And seeing as these were considered state of the art war machines, they would most likely crush the enemies own.

2 PTG Osa (Sov) Destroyed and a further PTG Osa suffering major damages

3 PTG Soju Suffering extensive damage

And due to the speed of the formation the others only suffered minor damage

Two divisions of torpedo crafts engaged with enemy.

Two groups of subs also engaged with the enemy.

====Mountains where artillery are located===========

"Stupid twits......Do they not know that bombarding a mountain with reinforced caves is all but impossible to breach..........." Responded a North Korean Indirect division commander when hearing about the so-called assault by an air force picked up on their radar.

Nevertheless they continued their plan, the whole place sealed with fibre optics as well as hundreds upon hundreds of jamming equipment, which would most likely render the aircrafts useless.

But seeing that they may get through, anti-air emplacements were readied along the surface to attack any fighters that dared to breach the impeachable.

======Fighters in range=============

The missiles of hell were fired with increased intensity upon entering the suspected locations of artillery. And although much of the jamming equipment avoiding heavy losses, a few missiles however did get through, making all but minimal losses upon the armoured caves.

Morale was raised however when anti-air's downed two enemy fighters.

=======Losses=========

36 Non-Frontline personal killed
132 Non-frontline personal with heavy injuries
192 With Minor injuries

6 Self propelled units destroyed
17 Rendered currently non-operational
32 With Minor damage

Seeing these few losses, they would most likely prepare again for a strike if a certain city was taken.

Seoul==================

Despite the untrained S.Korean's armed forces bravado, they were eventually overwhelmed, thus forcing them to retreat a few miles out of the nearly occupied eastern district. Anyway to counter-attack enemy movement's about 40 Abraham battle tanks made their way to reinforce the remnants of resistance within the eastern sectors, whilst being constantly aided by patriot and paladin fire from above.

Now seeing as there positions of holding the city were under threat, the Elite Guard commanders ordered to commence bombing of the ever-increasing armoured and infantry divisions, which was to be done by the various newly made mirage and f-16 fighters they had captured during their surprise attack upon the capital.

The resistance that has retreated were then also reorganised into divisions to aid with the defence of the city once again/

losses===========

323 Police and Army personal dead
623 Sustained major injuries
1100 Sustained slight wounds
92 Were also captured

2 Abraham also suffered minor damage.

======Aiforce near P'YongYang=========

The capital of the north launched their fuelled and dangerous updated mig-29's, along with the also newly modified Mig 21 and few F-16's. There mission was of course to attack enemy positions along the D.M.Z.

36 Mig 29's Launched
12 F-16's
20 Mig-21's

====D.M.Z===========

Finally after the initial round of fire commenced, the various N.Korean divisions initiated their first real crossing of the border in years, for all the wrong reasons it would seem. Nevertheless upon entering the border zone, they engaged,it seemed at the time, dissarayed paratroopers along the border.

With ever increasing enemy presence all over S. Korea, it was time to make the largest move so far. While troops had cleared a landing zone in Seoul, it was taking too long to deploy troops. Therefore, troops and tanks were being deployed just outside the city. The following troops were deployed outside Seoul:

100,000 troops
1000x Tenoth Mk III MBT
100x Virath Mk III Recon
100x Rawsh howitzers
100x Ulya AA tanks

Also, 30 Gencor-V fighters were dispatched to provide aircover for the paratroopers, while heavy armour was being brought in from the ships in the sea on either side.

The ships that were attacked by eternal-dragons ships suffered some damage, their various countermeasures and CIWS destroying the majority of missiles and torpedoes before they could do much damage. However several ships were sunk:

1 Kelis-V cruiser
6 Tritius-D/V frigates
1 Nurio-T/V class transport
The eternal-dragons

======Seoul=======

Seeing the enemy reorganising just outside Seoul, prompted a new strategy, one that would be the most daring yet. Thus soon after commanders of the allied forces ordered a complete ransack of all suitable plants, production lines, weapons in Seoul. They knew this was going to be a long war, and in order to survive, Korea's economic might had to be at its best.

Also as part of their provoking strategy, modified patriots continued to bombard the enemy upon the outside area, whilst paladin's did likewise.

===Artillery Positions in the reinforced mountain caves======

The time had come for an end to this war. Seeing the ever increasing enemy stretched around Seoul, the artillery decided to unleash the full-powered wrath upon the enemy. And by full-powered, meaning the biggest arsenal of indirect fire in the world today.

So with lightning speed the silence of the guns was broken by the firing of hundreds of 250mm and 200mm rocket artillery, enough firepower alone to wipe out most of the 100thousand army converged their. However almost minutes later, the Self-propelled artillery joined in the fun, launching round upon round of cannon fire on the enemy. With all this firepower not enough, the towed artillery soon joined in once being set up, And although only 155mm, they would still be enough to level enemy troops. But nevertheless the constant barrage showed no signs of ending, as the 9 thousand odd artillery pounded positions with many rounds per second. And unless the pounding stopped, Phoenixius army would have nothing left.

Air force in P'YongYang:

Seeing the enemy let loose there dogs of war, the enemy did likewise by sending a small interceptor air force consisting of:

36' Mig 29's
12 f-16's
20 MIG-21's

And although many presumed the N.K air force dated, little did they know that it had actually been updated, a fact that the enemy would soon find out.

======D.M.Z======

Finally after much walking the army embraced the paratroopers positioned their, the overwhelming numbers most likely crushing the enemy. The brand new tanks were although surprisingly good, as although some broke down on their trek there, they indeed were worthy of Korean tanks when exchanging blows with the enemy.

The paratroopers were being decimated, the combination of the ubelieveable artillery strike and the wave of group troops surging down through the DMZ. With the combined force, the paratroopers were pretty much wiped out to a man.

As the enemy fighters swept over the mountains, the Gencor-V fighters activated their stealth measures, the Archangel system making it look like there were loads of fighters coming on radar, and their Wraith system generated 5 aircraft images per host aircraft. There now looked like there were 180 aircraft coming in. The real Gencor-V's started up their weapon targetting processes - waiting for enemy aircraft to get in range.

OOC: OK. AS for the artillery, thats what I thought at first, but (my geography of korea is a bit shaky) I thought that Seoul was on the southern coast of Korea, making your artillery have an absolutely massive range. If Seoul is very close to the DMZ, and your mountains, I'll change my post.

The army suffered some casusalties, but the majority of the troops were heading in towards the city, or holed up in defensive positions. Though there were casualties, there weren't as many as the enemy thought there would be.

=====Attack on troops near Seoul========

The enemy morale was considered low, and although being well fortified, the constant barrage of Missiles from the 9000 + Artillery units in the mountains must have been taking their toll. If this was not enough, attacks continued from the armoured divisions positioned within the city as various paladins and modified patriots rained down on the enemy. However to further anger the enemy, snipers from the elite guard continued to pick of loose enemy groups as a way of demoralizing them further. And although the enemy was surprisingly resilient, they would soon have to give up or face total destruction.

=====Official Memo from Eternal Dragon Leaders===========

"We beg of you to surrender.....For to long have you wasted countless lives on the capture of the south of Korea.....If you really want two we could continue attacks for days... So how can you possibly get past a constant barrage of enemy fire?....The more you send the more cannon fodder you are sending....So please we ask you once again to give us the South to avoid further losses in this war......

War should only be a last resort......Not a tool of political gain....."

Meanwhile along the D.M.Z the huge allied force was apparently destroying the enemy’s rather small paratroopers.

"General, we're taking heavy losses from those artillery positions. Our aircraft can't penetrate that deep underground."

"Very well then. Order the activation of Project Armaggeddon."

"Are you sure, General?"

"Of course. Set the target as those mountains to the north of here - as soon as it is ready, order the attack."

The order was filtered through the defence department, until the order reached space command. A few hours after the order was given, and the first of the Armaggeddon satellites began its readjustment to come within the range for firing.

***Message to eternal-dragons***

You think you have us cornered? Prepare for Armaggeddon! Watch as your troops are completely and utterly destroyed! You have brought this upon yourselves. We have never used this is anger before - you have the dubious privillage of seeing its effect, first hand.

Good bye.

======P'YongYang, Underground intelligence site========

The leader of the D.P.N.K Sephoto Bloodlust gazed at his leading party members, his facial expression somewhat calm, despite the current ongoings. After a short period of staring and scanning he spoke coldly, his voice attracting the attention of the other members almost instantly

"So they plan to use Space satellites on us...Hmmm....Prepare the hackers to to counter the threat....So there trying to play hard ball"

"Sir..Shall we also launch the Missiles from silos 1-4....." Asked one of the various ministers

"No.....I have faith in the hackers......"

Soon a new chapter in the bloody war would unfold.

As this order was launched, the hackers that so swiftly crippled Taiwan's defences began work on stopping this so-called major attack. So as usual they started to send out various Virus induced jamming signals, the type that would send the computer of the weapon haywire. And considering the hackers army were the best in the world, they were sure it would have huge effect...

=====MEMO TO ENEMY LEADERS========

"You think pitiful weapons can stop us!!!!!!....We are the Eternal Dragons.!! a super race....So before you issue empty threats I suggest you withdraw and call a truce....."

Elsewhere in Seoul clashes were heard once again as about two dozen groups of Mirage fighters engaged enemy positions using various new bunker bombs designed to keep the enemy bogged down. Whilst this was going on, Indirect fire continued from the mountains and the city itself.

Also freshly from what appeared to be the defeat of the enemy paratrooper divisions were the continuing advance of the small force rumoured to be around:

--------------
Army consisting of:
400 M-2002
300 BMP-1 Armoured fighting A.P.C
250 Supply trucks

300 Medical vans

20 Thousand Regular army Personal

"Sir, it seems that eternal-dragons is unwilling to lie down. They are moving yet more troops in from the north."

"Very well. When will the satellites be in range?"

"Very shortly, within the next few minutes."

"Excellent. Order a flight of aircraft to patrol around our troops - I don't want more enemy aircraft coming. I wonder what his face will be like?"

Several minutes later the satellite was in position to begin firing. It began the final firing stages, preparing the link, and checking the target - the mountains holding the artillery. Then, the satellite fired, a tungsten rod blitzing its way into the atmosphere. Once inside the atmosphere, small fins popped out, helping the rod stay on course, and avoid the worst effects of the wind.

Seconds later, the rod hit, a bit off target, but still within range to obliterate the tops of the mountains, sending massive boulders into the sky to land for around a kilometer around the mountain. Anything hit would be obliterated by the massive chunks of rock. Anything on the mountain would probably be dead too.

====Mountain Area=======

The plan worked like a charm, just as the think tank of the E.D. armed forces predicted. As unknown to the enemy attack was diverted by the unique skill of the allied hackers army in making almost mirror heat and other various signatures. Thus because of this, the resulting attack pounded into various fake man-made and natural caves, containing strangly nothing but almost identical fake artillary units. But because of the attack, the fake indirect unit were mainly destroyed, often giving the enemy the image of the destruction of the divisions.

But if they dared attack once again, they would soon know how operational it really is

=======Losses========
Much of the mountains and Fake indirect units destroyed
78 Men killed
356 Wounded

====Outskirts of Seoul, Battlezone.========

The Mirage fighters continued to approach the enemys location in a distinct V formation, there mission preparing to commence. They expected stiff ressistance, but that is what they often lived for.

------------------------------------------------------

Upon arrival they were met with various anti-aircraft attacks whilst the enemy launched their own group of fighters. So without a moment's notice the dogfight commenced, resulting in the break up of formation and the engagement with the enemy.

====Losses=======

2 Mirage's suffering some damage allthough the battle still rages..

Elsewhere the rather large battalion continued on its way South from the D.M.Z its target currently unknown.

"General the satellite hit - bang on target."

"Excellent. Keep up the good work."

The Gencor-V fighters dodged in and out of the Mirage fighters, nipping in and out, utilising their VTOL engines to make manouvers impossible by normal planes. ONly 1 aircraft got shot down, because of this.

Meanwhile, the large army was moving on Seoul, entering its suburbs, heading straight for the largest ocncentrations of enemy soldiers.

===Air Battle====

Seeing the enemy completely outclassing the allies own. The aircrafts commenced plan B, which involved defeating the enemy by a more different means of approach. They Knew they had no choice as odds were against them with ; better pilots, better aircrafts, better equipment.

So without haste they began the operation, which to the panic of the enemy resulted in the self destruction of the close vicinity of fighters to the enemy’s own. However much like before small nuclear suitcase bombs were used, thus resulting in the skies to light up in a thick plume of devil light, enough light to level a city if it connected with the ground.

Soon after a message was sent to the enemy.

"Either Retreat from the Suburbs of Seoul and give us S.Korea.....Or face total destruction.......

You Have 24 Hours to Respond....The clock is ticking....."
