Does an invasion still stand if nobody fights against you? I've invaded Corfu, a small island off the coast of Greece, and Crete in the Mediterranean, but nobody has rp'ed back. Is this a type of ignore or something? I've noticed this has happened on the New Empire's thread and Blacktowers. So basically you didn't ask anyone to RP the other side, nor did you inform anyone of this thread, and now you feel you are entitled to claim victory of writing like five sentences. That's fucking ridiculous. Using this standard, I could conquer the whole unclaimed Earth with an hours worth of writing. I for one don't recognize your claim to these territories.

Also, I will be doing Africa and than a U.S State Map as there is only one claim in Latin America and only two in Oceana, but they will be done if there are at least three claims and/or if they are requested...

Well there are three claims in Oceania - I have New Zealand, someone else has West and Central Australia, and a third person has Eastern Australia.

Both links here are put up - Chinlanikistan could you post a link? I could go searching for it, but it would be much easier to do this if all the links were posted here.

I agree with Presgreif about the RPs - I'm hoping someone will join in my take over of S. Korea - didn't have much time yesturday to ask for someone to RP with me.

[ATTN: Blacktower, Earth III]" you'll notice in the thread itself that I have not declared victory, or even really finished it off, but I believe your right, and I am wrong, in claiming to own the island in these circumstances. Blacktower effectively ignored me, with no good reason. I am willing to withdraw my claims to Corfu and Crete, even Western Turkey if it makes you happy, but I ask why have you challenged me and not Blacktower? That's just hypocritical in my opinion.

New Empire, I see your dilemma, I was in the same position myself. If you like , I'll roleplay the remaining South African forces, but I have to tell you now, I'm not a uber rp'er. I do like the war threads, but I honestly couldnt tell you how many men should be in a squad or brigade, or how many tanks are in a division, but other than that I'm good to go =] It's up to you, let me know.

I didnt telegram you concerning Corfu in the first place?! Yes I did! I TG'ed you twice! Yes, the truth is I did think it was pretty lame how you annexed Sardinia, but no, that wasnt my reason. Controlling Corfu would give me a strategic advantage with regard to the Adriatic, and with what had happened, I saw an excellent oppurtunity to do this. And yes, I did feel a little foolish because one of my reasons for trying to defend Sardinia was because I thought it had already been claimed. When I realized that we could also claim islands usually associated with mainland nations, I decided further action regarding Sardinia would be stupid, and only make me out to be an agressive nation.

However, I didnt know at the time I was making up the Corfu thread that islands were basically a 'free-for-all'. That's why I contacted you. I'm sorry, I shouldnt have, and I only wasted your time.

However, if you dont have jurisdiction over Corfu or Crete for that matter, then in all honestly there was no point in me trying to roleplay these stories with you, and I apoligise.

There now remains the fact that the islands in question are not claimed by anyone, which means rp'ing a takeover is difficult because you cant really imagine an island having no government or such, and nobody will recognize a claim to a territory that hasnt been contested etc. I acknowledge that my Corfu thread may be thrown out the window, but I believe my Crete thread still has a legitimate claim, providing I finish it off, which I aim to do.

So, to clarify, do you claim Crete?

I havnt read your threads on Crete or Turkey yet, so I have know idea if they will be recognised or not. As for Crete, I do not beleive that they have identified Crete as part of Greece, and therefor I dont beleive I have any legitimate claim over it. I will double check with there map, but I dont beleive its under my control.

[EDIT: I checked the maps and I do have crete, therefor I beleive we should start the RP over again. I will recognise your attacks against it and defend it.]

Excellent. Korinthos, may I suggest that when we start needing changes to those maps, that you keep the file name the same? Thats would mean that the links wouldn't have to keep being re-written, and would save a whole load of hassle. So, far I'm on all the maps, yay me.

Chinlanikistan, I saw that, but is it really on Earth III? Its just that there's no message or anything stating its on E-III.

Operation "Show Off," The Invasion of UAE

I am currently looking for someone to RP United Arab Empirates. So far it is just a character RP getting ready for the invasion, but after about ten posts actual forces will be dispatched.

Yes, I think we need that. We must have an updated thread where we can find all the RP's going on in Earth-III.

Updated maps are also highly needed, in my opinion.

I would like it. Also, I wouldn't mind getting to work on a revised Earth III Map, would take me a while with my Farbini I stuff too btu I can do it next weekend if others want it.

Note that Neo Cannen has supposedly contested the Ukraine, but I have not added that claim because Presgreif has not yet responded.

Hey, I'm new to the RPing side of NS and me and the region I'm part of are looking at making a claim of a few countries. What do I have to do, just make a claim, rp a battle of sorts or what?

Earth III, I guess the best could say, is dead. It no longer exists, it just kind of became inactive and no one really wanted to RolePlay on it anymore.
