OCC: This is a civil war in Branada, you can support the ruling Emperor or you can support the rebels, just play fair ( I.E. No nukes, neither side wants that, no landing your entire army at once, Please roleplay how you enter the country, the NDP hold several roads, only one of which can currently hold tanks, they also hold enough airspace for a troop drop or a navel landing but to big a concentration of landers will only attract Branada forces)

Announcer: The New Democratic party of Branada or the NDP has declared open warfare against the ruling class of Branada, several million Branadians have taken up arms to support this rebellion.

Arda: We just want freedom, the emperor has gone to far!, our children are taken to be raised as soldiers, our people are oppressed by a over-funded police force, we shall turn Branada into a democratic have for all!
We beg all the free nations of the world to assist us in our righteous crusade!

Announcer: That was the NDP leader William Arda declaring his war with Lord Solar, the Imperial family declined comment, except to state that this rebellion will be crushed utterly within a matter of weeks. Imperial divisions are moving into so-called rebel territory, while minor skirmishes are fought along the borders. The NDP hold the city of Angelis and have turned it into a veritable fortress. But how long can they stand alone against the military might of Branada?

Announcer: More today on the civil war in Branada, the rebel forces under the rebel Captain Mulato were pushed back from the Samatian highway by the 3rd Solarian armored, as the war continues in the Solarian province other elements of the Branada 4th army move to defend their home province from the rebels. :mp5:

Arda: We continue to beg for support from the other democratic-minded nations watching this, please help us! we can't hold the fight for freedom alone, terms for support maybe be give and will be accepted! as soon as we claim victory! :sniper:

Announcer: That was the rebel leader Arda begging for assistance from the large Branada force that has boxed in the Solaris province, leave the rebels stuck 150 kilometers from the Capital. :mp5:

OCC: I'm not kidding, they will give you most anything they can if they win, for those more booty minded nations out there ;)

Announcer:The rebels have suffered a grave defeat on the fields of perlaxis today, fully three armored divisions of the Solarion brigade pushed into the rebel fortifcations around Angelis. With light damage the tanks pushed to the city gates with the support of several divisions of infantry. They were pushed back at sunset when they ran low on ammuntion and retreated, the brodcasts from the rebel fortess have ceased and it is suspected that artillery fire has destroyed the transmitter, the NDP must do something quickly if it is to survive the vengeful Branadian armor

IC: Celtayoshi announces that it will hand over 25 F-18 Super Hornets to the rebels, to aid them in their cause, along with a several men to help train pilots. A military representitve is headed to Branada to meet secretly with the rebel leader. He is expected to offer them more support in the form of military adivisors and arms to help train them in Celtayoshi Military Doctrine. He will also consider advising his seniors tos end over Celtayoshi soldiers in the pursuit of freedom and democracy.

OCC: Yay! finally they notice the plight of the NDP!, And I did the smiles because I was bored, oh well. You'll probably have to speak with the colonel, Arda and his officers are currently fighting the siege at Angelis, pinned by elements of the Eighth Army. I assume you are using trucks/ships to avoid being spotted on the radar I'm guessing trucks for now.

Announcer: Despite the pounding of the Branadian armor, the walls of Angelis hold firm, rebel rocket attacks have kept the Branadian forces back to maximum range, the Eighth army Commander gave us a comment on the current situation:

Lord General Jonathan Boyne: We have laid siege to their fortress and have pinned the filthy rebel scum inside, the can only last for so long, and without support I expect them to fall in a few days.

Announcer: In other news, the cheers of dozens of rebels were heard as trucks carrying the fighters were directed to the rough airstrip in the rebel village of Calius, the proud new reinforcements to the rebel forces will fly beside the old but servicable MiG-29's of Skull Squadron, the 16 fighters have been fighting in the skys for the entire war. Colonel Warren Methos, the highest ranking rebel officer not trapped at Angelis plans to meet with the peoples responsible for this assistance and negotiate terms.

Announcer: Today the remaining rebel forces inside Angelis sallied forth to try and escape the siege, due to the distance of the 4th army they managed to make a break for freedom through a rain of artillery and tank fire. Things looked grim for the NDP when their escape was intercepted by the Solarion 9th infantry, through sheer bravery and tenacity, mi xed with a bit of desperation Arda and the majority of his surviving forces have escaped to link up with his reserves in Calius, the 4th army reportedly killed 75,000 rebels during the break-out and a number of rebel offers running the rearguard were killed or captured. Most notable among them was Arda's lieutenant Sascha Berzercke'. Her unit was pincered and utterly destroyed by the Solarion 1st Mechanized, General Boyne's personal unit, her status is currently unknown but there is little hope for her survival.

Other notables were:

Jakob Glenstod: killed when a rocket barrage destroyed the city gates, crushing Glenstods 3,000 men under several tons of steel.

Draco Rodryn: Captured by the 4th army (Capturing unit unknown)

Announcer: With the main rebel force now broken and in retreat, many cities near the combat zone are demobilizing, many returning to normal life. Lord General Boyne has retired his main attack force and brought up his reserves, this gave the rebels a days head start on the 4th army but the mechanized troops caught up the next day, the rebels fought against a brutal assault into their rear, with this attack the main forces of the NDP have collapsed with Arda's personal units fleeing for Callius. The remaineder of the units scattered against the armored attack, many surrendering or surrounded and destroyed. The NDP Forces are in disarray, but several fighters of a model not known to be in the rebels possession fought over the killing fields and prevented the Branadian air support from obliterating the fleeing NDP. Where these fighters came from and who supplied them is still a mystery.

Announcer: The rebel forces at Callius have been besieged, savage house-to house fighting has broken out and a large air battle has broken out less then 300 meters above the ground. The desperate last stand of the NDP is being ground apart. Within a day the NDP will be smashed without support, already its been confirmed that Colonel Methos was killed in the intial assault and that skull squadron is down to less than half strength. Will the mysterious benifactors of the NDP show up again, or is this the end of the rebellion?

The Empire of Mattooe will send it's military to aid the rebels. The Military will be on the border soon...

“Kastor are the squadrons ready?” Erick asked his Defense Minister as he wanted to send help to the democratic rebels in Branada.

“Yes Prime Minister, and we painted over their official markings as you requested sir” the Minister of Defense answered.

“Good, good we don’t want the Imperial Forces know who is helping the rebels for now. Send them now as the rebels are on the brink of being annihilated”

“Yes Sir”

With his orders in hand Kastor headed down to his office, calling the General Charles giving him the greenlight on Operation Imperial. Under the hour the 35 planes given the duty to start Operation Imperial were airborne and underway, they would arrive in less than 6 hours to their respective targets. It was a simple plan to start the massive air campaing as well as a test of the Imperials Forces air defense. Fifteen F/A 18 Hornets and Super Hornets were escorting the assortement of bombers sent to bomb the enemy army currently besieging the rebels; it included the stealthy F-117A Nighthawk, the B-52 Stratofortress and the TSR-2.

An encrypted message was sent to the rebels to give them hope and strengths to continue fighting telling them that help was on the way:

Dear friends, we know your current situation is rather dim but don’t lose hope continue fighting for your freedom. You are not alone in this war against the Imperials, right now several squadrons of our air force are en route to your location with orders to protect your airspace and bomb the enemy army to hell and back. We only ask that they be allowed to land at rebel controlled airstrips to refueled and rearmed themselves to continue fighting for your cause. A ground army may follow but for now that is all that we can send to your aid.

OOC: Well sorry for the wait everyone but now I'm back, to Alexias: I am Canadian thats where I got it, I come from the frigid eastern coast in New Brunswick I send you all messages from my toasty warm igloo while I munch on seal and whale blubber while listening to my new prime minister Tim Horten.

"Sir! sir!" Captain Gallan came running up to General Boynes command tank.
"Enemy force have moved into our territory and are moving against us!" General Boyne cursed.

"Very well sound the retreat, make it a disciplined pull back not a rout"

"Sir" Gallan saluted and raced off. General Boyne ducked into the tank, "Send a message to command, tell them that we are retreating to Angelis and we need support.

"Message sent and recieved sir" replied the comms officer, "The Seventh and First armies are movin towards the combat area, but it will take about a week"

"Alright, Pull Back!"

The Branadian force pulled back from the shattered ruins of Callius, the exausted, half-dead rebel force gave a husky cheer, Arda and his remaining officer went to meet and thank the approching armies and thank them personally. The Branadian forces gave up the ground they had gained and pulled back to Angelis with its fighters still keeping tight aircover as th forces withdrew. As soon as the army was inside the gates of the partially repaired city would be closed.

“Blue Leader to Air Command, Blue Leader to Air Command” called the lead pilot in the attack squadron sent against the Imperials.

“Blue Leader this is Air Command, what is it?” responded a controller back in the Commonwealth.

“The enemy army appears to be retreating, what are your orders”

“Contact the rebels and try to land at one of their bases”

“Roger that, Blue Leader out”

“Wait, the general says your going to be our leason(sp?) to the rebels until he can land with a small ground army”

“Roger that Command, Blue Leader out”

With that Blue Leader started given orders to the various squadrons under his command, especially to the bombers. Although they didn’t have to, he wanted to set things right with the rebels off the bat so he ordered the high flying F-117A Nighthawk to bombard the retreating army before it got to the city. Fortunately they were flying well above the ceiling of the enemy fighters so at least they didn’t need heavy air defense but just in case he sent the Super Hornets to fly cover for them. The rest of the air units change course toward the rebel base while Captain Mitchell contacted the rebel leader,

“NDP this is Captain Mitchell of the Commonwealth of Pheanix, we need a place to land and refueled, over”

“The Commonwealth ahs also authorized me to discuss tactics and strategies with you until one of our generals arrives, over”

oh, well there you go. Small world.

"This is NDP H.Q." answered a radio operator "I'm sorry but all we have is the Ilami Plains nearby, our airfield is currently full of large holes from the battle, and our fuel and ammuntion supplies are almost gone"


As the nighthawks screamed towards the 8th army, General Boyne ordered out his AA tanks to provide covering fire, guns and missile elavated, preparing to give supporting fire. The fighter cover began raking the sky below

The newly raised Anti-air defenses on the Angelis curtain wall lifted from their housing and loader carriges were locked home. The mighty angel gate openned allowing the very lead troops into Angelis.

“That will do for now, Air Command has deploy two Stratotankers to our location for immediate refueling operations” Blue Leader responded to the NDP radio operator as he motion his units to lands on the Ilami Plains.

The ten F-18 Super Hornets quickly scramble to deal with the enemy fighters sent to attack the Nighthawks bombers, firing twenty (20) missiles in total (two missiles each plane) at the upcoming planes before engaging in a fierce dogfight. Three Nighthawks were quickly shut down by the anti-air units in both the retreating army forces and the city defenses, another two were downed by missiles fire from the upcoming enemy planes.

Quickly the remaining Nighthawks pilots released their precious cargo at the rear-guard of the Imperial Forces, specifically targeting the enemy armored units. After that the F-117A's quickly hightail it out of there, back toward rebel controlled airspace at max speed trying to avoid anymore losses.

Back on Commonwealth territory two infantry divisions and an Armored Division were already in their naval transport, waiting for the final order to launch toward Branada’s territory. Naval Command had dispatch one of the newly acquire Norad Class Supper Battleship and BCVN Ultra Class Super Battle Carrier with an assortment of old but still up-to-date- battleships, cruisers and submarines to escort the 50-odd naval transports.

Kastor quickly went to talk with the Prime Minister, Erick, about the operation wanting to know how soon he could launch the initial ground troops into Branada’s territories. Erick was revieweing the military intelligence paper in his office when Kastor arrived.

“Sir the troops are ready to go, should we begin Operation Distress?” Kastor, the Minister of Defense asked.

“How many troops are we sending Kastor” Erick asked wanting to know as they may need to send many more according to the intelligence reports.

“Three division in total, sir. Two infantry and one armored division”

“Good, good. Begin the operation as quickly as possible, those people need our help”

“Yes sir”

With that the Minister of Defense went to his office to call the general in charge of the operation, General Krook. After a briefed conversation the whole naval taskforce got under way toward Branada territory, this will be the first test of Commonwealth forces intervening in foreign affairs. It was something for the historians to write about, the first time in a long while that the famed Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Pheanix went head to head with another nation.

IC: "Only ten planes? hah!, take them down!" Major Curtis led his attack wing around to engage the enemy squadron, "Let's make the BIN Dauntless proud boys!" 48 Super hornets and Tomcats loosed a blitz of fire to chase off the hornets.Enemy fire tore across the formation, the planes broke formation and began evasive manuvers, five exploded nonetheless.

While the eighth army pulled inside Angelis, with a rippling blaze the Nighthawks bombs landed, several tanks exploded or where hurled through the air, but overall the unit sustanined little damage due to the speed they were moving. (Targeting something moving 50 MPH while going Mach 1 under heavy fire would be difficult after all despite their precion against buildings and non-moving targets).

Admiral Wulfen watched the enemy fleet through his scope,

"That's too much for us to deal with, send a message to the fleet, Message begins, enemy fleet approching Bay of Victory, any fleet elements available please assist.

The retributions hid beneath the waves, slowly sinking with their engines off, waiting for the fleet to help.

The first army, under Lord Solar's personal command was now only three days from Angelis, while the seventh army under Lady General Shera Moltan was still six days away. If the enemy took Angelis then they may be able to weather the Branadian counter-attack and press on to Solaris city, the Branadian capital which was now only guarded by a skeleton force.

The Dominion of Shadowless Warriors here by announces it's support of Lord Solar and will contribite money for the campaign.

OCC: the forces im sending to Branada. May send more Armored and Infantry division as the rp progresses, by the way the paratroopers use the same equipment as the infantry except for the logistical and mortar units, and a few other heavy weapons.

By the way, the Ultra Supper BattleCarrier and Norad Battleship are IDF designs, the stats are at his storefront.

“Fuck were being overwhelmed” said Red Leader as two of his Super Hornets were destroyed while the others scrambled to escape the massive enemy attack, “Retreat”.

Many “Roger that” could be heard over the radio as the Super Hornets pilots quickly did evasive maneuvers going toward rebel controlled airspace. Four more Hornets were lost as they made their way out of Imperial airspace. It was a hard retreat for the Commonwealth forces, but they finally manage to escape the onslaught.

The 3rd Fleet was almost at Branadas territorial waters, all the ships were on high alert ready for combat. The General even dispatched a few air patrols to make sure everything went smoothly as they near their respective target. Two Nimitz Class carriers were order to dispatch two squadrons each to clear and secure the area were the transports would be landing.

An encrypted message was sent to the NDP as to signal their arrival and to inquire about any enemy movement in the area.

“Arda this is General Krook of the Commonwealth Forces of Pheanix, we have been sent here to help you in any way we can. More troops will be on their way depending on how the battles go. We ask that if at all possible you can give us a report of all the enemy units in the immediate vicinity of your controlled area”

By now Captain Mitchell was making his way toward the NDP H.Q. to meet with the rebel leaders, especially the air squadron leader as to coordinate further incursions with him. At the entrance of the rebel-controlled city he requested to see Ardas, he was accompanied by two of his wingmen as to not leave their captain alone.

The planes at Ilamis Plains were secured and the airmen were setting up a perimeter, armed with a dozen or so XM-8 rifles that one of the bombers crews brought over just in case.

OCC: my forces are going to try land on rebel-controlled territory, mind giving me a description of the terrain so I know how to proceed.

OOC: The Ilmas plains are extrodinarily flat and excellent farmland in the NW of Branada, they reach to the fortress city of Angelis and to Victory bay some 30 miles from Angelis, victory bay was where the last battle between the Solarian rebels and the former government of the country Ranosaia, Lord Solar and his loyal troops defeated President Saladan and took over the country, renaming it Branada, Victory bay is the only stable landing zone in Solaria province except Angelis Harbor, its gentle water flow and gradual beaches make it perfect for ships and other seaborne vessels. It is located 3 Miles from Callidus and 30 from Angelis, out of range of Angelis' anti-seige cannons. It's actually mainly grasslands and farming areas. I can't seem to find the Ultra, the rest I found but the Ultra seems to be not their, though I checked out the Tribes, very nice.

IC: "They've gone for it! begin spolier assault, the enemy must be denied!" General Boyne watched his tactical map, "All armored units, turn around and begin attack! Air cover, take the skies!" he switched the channel, "Jackel, go"

The retribution subs became alive again, the motors roared and the subs shot towards the surface as their ballast was partially ejected, the subs hit torpedo depth and fired their torpedos as they oriented. They had appeared at the rear of the enemy fleet, a carefully plotted move, intent on destroying the huge carrier that loomed above them they first aimed at the ships in the way of their shot. A barage of 24 torpedos darted under the surface, their wakes causing a small wave.

Imperial air and armor turned at bay and began a counter-charge, closing on Callius.

The Norad sonar’s began showing multiple enemy signals at the rear of the fleet, what amazed the sonar crewmen was that they appeared out of the blue. Still they did as what they were trained to do, they quickly phoned the Admiral as the captain took a look at the sonar. The Admiral quickly came down from the observation deck to see as one of the rear guard Destroyer shook from two torpedoes and immediately began listing to one side. The fleets subs reacted quickly to the threat, turning around to face the enemy subs arming the anti-submarine torpedoes as they turned.

On the surface more explosions followed as two cruisers were hit hard by the torpedoes, sinking beneath the waves but not before getting hit again by a stray torpedo which struck one of the sinking cruisers killing any men still inside trying to escape. By now the different ships in the fleet were widening the space in-between them to avoid the in-coming torpedoes, the sub-hunters, the Sea Kings helicopters quickly took to the sky to exact vengeance upon their fallen comrades.

Down below the Los Angeles Class Submarines quickly launch their anti-submarines torpedoes against the enemy subs, a volley of eight headed toward the Retribution subs. The Sea Kings pilots not ones to be left behind, also fired a couple of anti-sub missiles against the Retributions.

Topside three transports began sinking after being hit by torpedoes, while the rest quickly speed up to escape any more that the enemy subs might fired. One of the cruisers was charge with rescue operations as soon as the enemy threat had been deal with so they began preparing their gear while turning around toward the surviving men. Thankfully the flagship, the Norad, didn’t take any damage nor did the Ultra although two cruiser, one destroyer and three cargo ships were sunk by the enemy and an odd number of ships were lightly damage.

Admiral Tas survey the damage done to his fleet and although grimed by the deaths of so many fine sailor he kept his face hard and emotionless giving out order to the various ships to organize them for the landings. The planes sent earlier to clear the bay of enemy units, quickly reported back that a huge enemy movement had begun toward the rebel city of Callius. The aircraft few in number retreated back to their respective carriers as soon as they saw the enemy fighters in the air.

The Nimitz Class Carriers quickly dispatch their aircrafts, in total seventy-five F-18 Hornets, seventy-five F-18/A Super Hornets and fifty F-22 Raptors took to the air to combat the enemy air power while the ground troops landed at the bay. The Norad and Iowa battleships took position outside the bay reading their guns and missile launcher for the attack on the enemy city, but especially their anti-aircraft guns to destroy anything that got too close to them.

OCC: do your troops pass close to the bay on their way to Callius or do they take the Ilamis plane route?

IC: Admiral Wulfen sat back in his command chair,

"Sir incoming torpedos!" shouted the tactical officer

"Deploy Hammerheads, we shall make a fine field test for them, out of the forward three subs, small mine-like charges floated from the torpedo tubes, small motors fired and pushed them away from their motherships as they reached safe distance they exploded in a violent reaction destroying several torpedos,

"Hmmm... good enough I guess, brace for impact!" several torpedos exploded against the subs thick skin,

"Hull breach!",

"Seal the section"

The subs, now the more worse for wear, surfaced and swung out their stabilizers, most smoking somewhere. Specialist Harriers began launching from the subs,

72 Harrier NICEs rose into the air and began hammering fire at the sea kings, missles and cannon fire strobed across the heli's.

Cheers erupted from the submarine crews as they saw their torpedoes striking the enemy subs, but the captains stood quiet taking on their bridges taking notice of the weapon deployed by the enemy to destroy a couple of their torpedoes. “We should get their technologies when we win this war…” one of them thought as they coordinated another volley. A few minutes later a full torpedo volley against the already crippled subs, as they were launching their planes.

OCC: can’t launch the whole squadron at the same time you know

The remaining Heavy cruiser and Destroyers quickly started firing their anti-aircraft guns at the Harriers, while the Norad fired a whole Mk 87 VLS loaded with SAMs. The Iowa Battleships fired away their rapid0fire gun at the planes to help down their number; the sky was full with lead as the Commonwealth ships try to down the incoming Harriers.

One third of the Commonwealth planes already in the air were ordered back to defend the fleet, most of them fired missiles at the Harriers once they got a lock on quickly taking down their numbers. The Sea Kings Helicopter tried to ran back to their carriers as quickly as they could but most were shut down by the more powerful and faster Harrier, only seventeen made it back and many of them barely with large smoking holes in them.

The transport ships unloaded their precious cargo and departed the bay as fast as possible but as with anything it wasn’t a walk in the park. At least thing were going smoothly and over half the troops were on the beach preparing for the upcoming enemy counterattack erecting whatever defenses they could. (( you know mortar bases, small mine fields, machinegun posts, etc)) But even with this kind of progress General Krook was worried as most of the armored forces were still in their transports, thank good they had huge naval gun and many airplanes in the air to help defend the beachhead.

General Krook sent out a message to NDP H.Q. telling them about the counter attack by the Imperial Forces and requesting a joint attack to quickly dissipate the enemy forces.

“This is General Krook of the Commonwealth Forces, the Imperial Forces are launching an attack against our position in Victoria Bay, and we suggest we do a joint attack on the enemy. Since most of their forces are concentrated against us, why don’t you try to attack the city of Angelis and try to capture it? Our battleships are ready to bombard the city, their guns are ready and the missiles are hot just say the word”.

OOC: They didn't launch all at once they are VTOL's they merely launched quickly.

IC: The harriers began evasive manuvers, many exploding due to the density of the fire.

"This is Grey leader, we are getting eaten alive out here!"

"Get out of there!" roared Wulfen, "Make for the mainland"

Twenty or more harriers didn't escape but the rest pulled away in desperation, heading for the fortress port of Angelis.

"Torpedo salvos two and three away sir"

"Excellent" he straightened "All subs withdraw!"

The Retributions began to pull away as their opponents were distracted by the planes and dealt with the forty plus torpedos incoming, slowly sinking beneath the waves and making best speed away. Hoping the torpedos would give them time to escape. However not one warhead was armed but simply set to penetrate as much hull as possible.

Commander Halyon Stood on the rampart of Angelis' Curtain wall, through a pair of binoculars he watched the enemy ships approching

"Well Corporal, it seems that our arrogant opponents believe us helpless against their naval power, the subs are withdrawning from the main fleet but those battleships seem to want to shoot some more, let us deter them of that notion, oh and send the transports out so we can cover them."
he waited patiently as the medium speed heavy transports pulled away from port. He then turned to his aide. "Begin the firing"

"Yes sir" the Corporal raised his flaregun

With a flash of blue flare, the five 1000mm Super siege guns opened fire, lobbing their heavy ordinance out towards the approching fleet. All five guns began to glow from the heat, after ten volleys they ceased fire. Halyon watched the shells fall as crews hurriedly restocked the loaders and flushed nitrogen through the guns cooling system. The super heavy shells screamed down...

Lord Solar covered his eyes as the Siege cannons fired, he peered out to sea but his meager human eyes could only see a small trace of them, he was still an day away but the plains gave him a clear view of his beloved fortress, the 8th army's armored column should be reaching the bay soon...

The armored divisions bore down on the beach, their cannons roaring as shells were sent screaming into the enemy positions, a full five divisions, struck hard and fast, and never stopped moving, the fighter squadrons, freshly fueled up and launched again from the carrier fleet in Angelis port, held a combat air patrol to try and intercept any enemy aircraft attempting a spoiling attack.

Arda sat at the table with the foreign negotiator,

"We can't sit here forever," he fumed, "Sooner or later they will attack again! or get reinforments!" he stood up, "Where are your troops? my people will fight of you only help them, but they can't do it on their own!"


OOC: (In case your wondering 1000mm's are possible as the WWII Germans had 800mm. These are artillery guns mounted behind the wall on permenant struts, they can only fire out to sea. And they were mentioned before, if your battleships smaller guns are in range than these monsters will certainly be)

IC:
The firing of the huge monster cannons salvos was heard by the troops back at the beachhead. Although they continued their respective duties they couldn’t help but look at the incoming salvos, imagining what they could expect if they made it to the city.

The Commonwealth Forces started firing back from their entrench positions, RPG shells started firing from all over the defensive line created by the infantry. The 56th and 23rd Artillery Brigades started firing at the upcoming forces full barrages from the M270 MLRS, Paladin Howitzers, Avengers and M6 Linebackers. The sky was ablaze with the Commonwealth artillery fire, trying to diminish the oncoming enemy troops.

The Norad and his fellow battleships quickly opened fire against the armored division boring down against the troops on the beach. Their massive gun racks firing volley after volley, as the two AirWings already in the air ((had three but one went to combat the harriers)) quickly engage the enemy combat air patrols. A massive dogfight started in the fiery sky as the artillery barrages and airplanes exploding made the sky a chaotic place to be right now.

As the enemy armored units bored down on the beach the Commonwealth own armored units were almost unloaded from the transports ships, quickly working there way toward the defensive line while firing back at the enemy units. It was going to be a hard battle to defend this beachhead but they were sure they could do it.

Back in the Norad General Krook quickly radio back to the Homeland for them to send another convoy to reinforce them. The call was quickly answered and the ships were to set sale in the next day or so.

IC: As the guns cooled, Halyon watched,

"Damn out of range" However, the transports had easily escaped the encrochinging fleet, and would soon be returning with reinforcements, Halyon turned to see the new reinforcements, a Huge Carrier Battlegroup cruised past the city, adding itself to the defenses, it had sailed for nearly a week and a half and now it had arrived, The two carrier groups sent their escort boats along with the two groups, the strengthened force moved to intercept the enemy reinforcements

Ravager fleet pushed on towards the edges of victory bay, intent on stopping the reinforcements before they could tip the battle. As soon as the fleet was spotted a full battle alert was issued, all planes were launched on an attack vector and the escort vessels pushed in guns blazing at the vulnerable transports and their escort vessels.

General Boyne watched the battlefield through his viewer, the choking smoke and dust whipped past the charging command tank, the tank rocked as the gunner fired again, the enemy forces were fighting valiantly, but they were outnumbered ( P:3 Divisions, 2 Infantry 1 Armored, B:10 Divisions, 5 Mechanized, 5 Armored) Though the fleet guns were hurting, they would have to stop firing once they were into their beachhead or risk their own troops. A RPG hit the tank at an angle, ricocheting away, despite the damage the tanks had closed on the enemy line, the entire line of tanks opened up with machine guns and the main cannon, while the APC's raked machine-gun fire back and forth. An blazing APC crashed into the enemy lines and exploded. 6 M-1's slammed into the same point, pushing aside the wreak with a dozer blade the tanks fired at close range at their enemy, they had lost 20% of their machines, but now they would repay the enemy a hundred fold. A twelve gun support battery began long range fire on the Norad, hoping to blow it out of the water, or at least drive it off .

Well since its been almost three weeks I now will move on if a post is not made by tomorrow

OOC: alrighty, obviously I am alone again here, *sigh*, now this is godmoding I admit it right up front, but if Pheanix hasn't posted by now, he's not going to, so now the dramatic ending, enjoy!

IC: The tank rush up the beach slammed into the lines like a cluster bomb, Pheanixian infantry dived for cover as the tanks steamrolled their lines, the Branadian tanks smashed through the defensive line destroying gunnery positions and munition dumps. Explosion after explosion tore through the lines as the fury of no less than ten enemy divisions of armored vehicles ripped through them.

"Retreat!"

"Back to the ships!" soldiers screamed for support as the blasts hurled them everywhere. The storm abated somewhat as a valiant charge from the Pheanixian armor slowed the charge, the soldiers cheered and began running for their transport ships.


The Norad rocked as a artillery shell hit it, then several times more as plane munitions chewed away at its hull armor.

"Where's our air support?!" shouted Krook, "The replacement fleet can't last much longer!" He looked out at the dozens of blazing craft that was once his proud fleet.

"Their have engaged the enemy, but they are badly outnumbered sir!" cried the tactical officer. A catostrophic blast hurled them all to the ground, getting back to his chair, an officer reported the bad news.

"The munitions are hit, we've lost four guns, and the engine room is gone!"

"Signal the Ultra, we'll..." a blast silenced him, out the window, the Ultra, now a conflaguration on the water was listing over on its right side, several squadrons of enemy planes blew past one flew close to the Norad's bridge and waggled its wings.


Callius was hell, the Branadian first army had released its fury on the ruined town the defenders had been devestated by the systematic assault of the praetorian guard. So many were lost to the raging battle, the ground was now a deep red. Arda ducked as rifle fire chewed out the wall above his head, his four guards remained with him and blasted at the approching heavy infantry.

"We need to find a pocket of resistance to help us!", cried Tammy, his only female guard, she shot two men then ducked.

"That's assuming there's any left" Jeff's low growl came back, an rpg round hit their cover, blowing out a section and Shauns legs, he dropped screaming.

"Damn!" Jeff roared, firing wildly, Tammy crawled toward Shaun, he was partially in the open and in danger of bleeding out, the others covered her as she crawled. Don looked up Arda followed his gaze and caught a glint of light on glass, it was a trap.

"Tammy!" Arda screamed, Don stood to get a better shot, twelve shots blew him back against the wall, and another dozen hit him as he fell. Tammy looked back at Arda, she opened her mouth, and chocked as the snipers bullet tore out her throat. She lay still, and another shot silenced Shaun, Jeff grabbed Arda and hauled him away quickly, they ran onto a back street and raced toward the edge of the city, Arda cursed, it was all falling apart.

The last remnants of the Pheanixian armor fell back from the overwhelming firepower of the Branadian forces. A transport exploded as the tanks reaimed the soldiers watched in horror as the Ultra sank.

"We're surrounded"

"We can't escape!"

"What do we do?!"

As more and more fell, the soldiers realized their failure, a group raised a white flag just as a shell hit them, other flags rose and soon the battle on the beaches was over.

The Norad was burning, smoke stung Krook's eyes as he surveyed the battle, most of the ships were heavily damaged, the air cover was gone and now his beloved Norad was crippled. Most of the bridge crew were dead, a stray bomb had hit the bridge leaving only three deck officers the radar and the radio. The reinforcement fleet had withdrawn with heavy damage, they were surrounded Krook sighed heavily, a plane shot up the deck three meters away with its cannon. "Signal the Branadian forces, We surrender, cease-fire, we surrender.

The fleet was silenced, the victorious Ravager fleet supervised the rescue of crewman and pilots, and the evacuation or repairs of heavily damaged ships, it was over.

Arda raced along the road, trying to aviod the patrols, the crackle of gunfire had ended, and the far off guns of victory bay had been silenced, Arda hoped his allies were victorious but he was still in sever danger. As the pair ran a tank smashed through the building ahead, the hatch opened and Arda's enemy, Lord Solar himself climbed out, shaking his red longcoat, Solar laughed.

"It's over Arda, I've won, and your sad little rebellion is over." Arda aimed his gun,

"Not if you die", Solar laughed again and shook his head, the tank's .50 cal opened up, Arda dived as Jeff was ripped apart by the heavy caliber rounds.

Arda rolled over and found Solar's gun in his face,

"I tire of this game Arda, tell me why you did this"

"For freedom" Solar laughed,

"Oh please, you did this so that the queen of Kitty1and2 would love you instead of me" rage filled Arda's face, he raised his gun. Solar shot his in the eye.

"Have it your way" he sighed.
