The RG-20 mobile 20mm machine gun offers unprecedented heavy wepons support, offering a mobile heavy machinegun system which can be remotely operated or crew served. When a human operator wants to use it, an inertial system provides control and steering (simmilar to the segway scooter). You can lock the gun out so that it only fires for soldiers who have the correct thumbprint or you can use a key system. Aren't mechs extremely unstable on all but the flatest of ground, and inferior in almost every way to wheeled or tracked vehicles?

It' not a mech... whats a mech? There have been improvements in robotic walking technolgy, see hondas robot for an example, this is a highly improved version of that.

And regardless of your improvements, they're still much mroe vulnerable, less mobile, slower and carry less than wheeled or tracked vehicles. Not to mention that battlefield repairs on them are next to impossible.

heres a definiton of a mech i found:
An impractical large, mobile suit of tank-like armor used for combat purposes. A pilot is inside of the Mech, or Mecha in some cases. Heavily armed, with weapons such as blaster, photon cannons, LRM's, SRM's, and Railguns. Appearing in almost every anime, they are seen as all-powerful robot suits that are usually piloted by humans. In real life, a mech would be powerless.
the BETA is not a mech... its not a vehicle either, its an autonomus robot....
and its not ment to be a vehicle, it can do things vehicles cant, like tilt its body, raise and lower its hieght by bending down, climb stairs, navigate narrow passages
And how exactly do you know "battlefield repairs on them are next to impossible" these are easier to repair than most late model civillan cars. all the parts are interchangable and modular.


and if your confident that these are so crappy , i'd be happy to send about 10,000 of them along with infantry for a demonstration on your capital, non responsible for damages
