My friend and vassal Haut Van Hoffeilman, along with my feverent servant Admiral Alabar have present my fleet before you today. So be proud of your sons and fathers and sisters who have bravely asnwered the call!" The tv turned off and Admiral Alabar swirved around in his desk chair to look at Haut Hoffeilman.

"Well Hoffeilamn, it seems we are success." The Admiral had a bemused look on his face that didn't reach his eyes.

"Well the Emperor felt he should have a public showing of the new fleet, our numbers have increased so he felt like showing off. Nothing wrong in that." Hoffeilman was a small man but he was one of the most cunning and clever rat the Emperor had ever met and he had a good head for command.

"Show me the list again," asked Alabar. Hoffeilman slid a sheet over to Alabar showing the statistics of the new fleet.

Alabar looked at the sheet, still a little amazed at the numbers. The Emperor Shaduam the III who had started the space program over 60 years ago had dreamed of such fleets, but only his son Shadaum IV was able to bring it about 60 years later. But his highness wastn't the only one with dreams of fleets either, Alabars agents had been speaking with the government of Parlim for the last 5 years doing trades in information and to Alabars great happiness, ship scematics.

"How many of the new ships do we have Hoffeilman?" The small man smiled and said," We have about 15 so far Admiral." Alabar called up the new ships scematics onto his desk and viewed it again. He'd bought it from Parlim 3 years ago and had begun construction emediatly. Even the Emperor didn't know about it.

OOC: Hope you enjoyed my roleplaying and liked my fleet, critisism is welcomed. And I know I used a lot of Star Wars stuff so dont bomb me on that when I already have a bunch of times plz.

Thrashia doesn't have much of a armoured corp but relys on infantry and its fighters from the air to handle its enemy.

The most basic unit in Thrashia's Infantry Corp is the 20 man Shock Trooper Company.

All of these men are amred with laser rifles and the best in armour and equipment. There are some 40,000 men in each Division of Shock Troopers. On each of Thrashia's vessels you will find some. Thrashia's fleet takes up some 9 million in men to arm. Its infantry corp is is around 20 million. The largest weapon and heavest they carry is the chain cannon. Also a division of 20,000 men are devoted to the art of sniping. Each is trained for years in the art by veterens.

When faced with an outside invasion on ground the interlocking pillboxes and trench emplacement is such that veiw have beat past "Shadow Canyon" which is the only road and pass through the high moutains that surround all of Thrashia.

OOC: The Prowler is a vey good versatile ship, its good for guarding transports as well as going toe to toe with captial ships with its main guns.

I also am shooting for about 30 Super Shadaum, and as many Shadaums as I can build and my ship yards are being doubled as I speak.

Besides the now public Janus Project, Emperor Shadaum had others. After collecting all computer programmers and hackers into a special prison he gave them the choice to either create the best Pilot AI program and get your freedom or a bullet in the head. Most chose the latter. Within 5 years the first program had been created. Bringing in ace pilots they were able to mold the programs to the flight timing of these pilots. Soon one of the best AI pilot programs was developed into the new Wasp-class fighter. With no shields it was now over 1000 klm fast in space combat and with AI not being nausiated like human pilots, could keep such speeds so long as the fuel was there. To keep security, Shadaum regreted to have to execute all the programmers after they finished the project, but he did let one live to continue improving the Wasp.

The Shadaum II is an improved version of the Shadaum I. 700 meters longer the SII is able to carry more troops and carry 1 more fighter squardon than the SI. The Emperor has made expansions to the Danalia shipyards so that while the SI is still produced but also the SII can also, and just as fast. With robotic assembly lines working 24/7. One SI can be made within 1 standard week, while an SII takes 9 days. While it does however take 3 weeks after construction to appoint the crew and supply. The Emperor himself is preparing to veiw the shipyards and judge wether or not to increase his already increased budget. Also wishing to see and judge how long it will take for one of his Super Shadaum-class Cruisers to be constructed in the newly built part of the shipyards.

Admiral Alabar himself has comissioned new ground based mass production factories. While the endless masses of Thrashia's Shocktroopers legions are a very powerful tool in Thrashia's military, Alabar has decided for the construction of a droid army as well. Besides the new droid army to be constructed, Alabar using his secret force of scientists, has begun a new project to be complete by the Emperor's 60th birthday. But has yet to reveal what it is.

One of the Emperor's new mandates was to convert a civilian space station into a military one. With the help of Dainala shipyards it has become complete within a few months.

With a orbit made standard around the new Planet Thrashia, the station dumbed Crusader, is now charged with monitoring the shipping lanes and making check in on military ships and arrivals. it has also been where Admiral Alabar has set up a top secret laboratory, a copy of his own on the planet surface.

Due to all the regular ground forces being disbanded in favor of the new clone armies produced for the Emperor's Birthday gift (Link (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=381450)), all formal regular troops have been turned over for Fleet training. Commander for Thrashian ground forces is Major General Dankin Froude. At this moment there are 1,780,500 clones, with 50,000 being produced each month.

Clone Research

Due to the risk of a captured clone being used for way to find a virus to destroy the one geonome that resides within all the clones troops of Thrashia, a subconscious program was made into each clone by the scientists who created them. If captured or wounded and captured each and every clone is made to execute this order. The program creates an immediate break-down of the entire DNA line and geonome of the clone keeping any scientific knowledge of the clone from being deiscovered.

Alabar read the report with satisfaction. As far his plans had become reality with little or no hitch to them. The clone armies were still under construction but with some 3 million already ready he was wondering when to stop construction until further more were needed. Sighing to himself he leaned back in his cushioned office chair and sipped on red wine, a 2013 vintage, which he had had brought over from the great move from Earth. 'Soon the Emperor will choose a heir...I will have to act quickly,' Alabar thought quietly to himself. 'Indeed quickly.'

Grand Admiral Alabar stood outside the Emperor's study. He'd been summoned out of the blue, which left Alabar wondering if he'd somehow displeased the Emperor. He noticed a crease in his black admirals uniform and slid his hand over it until it disapeared. The door opened and one of the Emperor's private guards stepped out. "Sir, the Emperor will see you now." Alabar followed the guard inside. Emperor Shadaum was standing beside the window looking out over the city. The guard saluted then left. Alabar saluted then stood at attention. "You summoned me my Emperor." Alabar assumed he would have to be blunt. Shadaum turned to face Alabar. "Tell me my old friend, what is the first duty of an officer in my fleet?" Alabar allowed no emotion to show on his face. "The first duty of every officer is absolute loyalty to you the Emperor, my lord." Shadaum blinked then looked back out the window.

"Thats correct. Have you been loyal to me Alabar, my old friend?"
"My Lord, I have always been loyal to you, if you doubt me then kill me now." Alabar went to one knee and bowed his head; at the same time he took out his las pistol and set it on the ground. Shadaum turned and looked down at his best fleet admiral. "If I doubted your loyalty Alabar, you would already be dead. I do believe you are loyal. And because of that I have decided to reward you." Alabar kept his face facing the floor, for he new that he was showing unbelief on it. "Get up from the floor, ym old friend, tis no place for Thrashia's only Grand Admiral." Alabar stood and faced the Emperor.

"Your majesty, I ask no reward for my service to you." Shadaum gave him a cold smile but his eyes held a small laughter about them.

"Liar. Every man in his heart wishes for more power and advancement, even so loyal a servant as you my old friend. Come I must show you what I have decided to give you." Shadaum went over behind his desk and pulled back a book. The bookcase slid came foreward and then slid to the right to reveal a steel door. "Come Alabar, follow me." Alabar, who had no knowledge that this door existed, walked and stood next to the Emperor. On the door was a small pad of red buttons with numbers on them. Shadaum punched in a code, his fingers moved too fast for Alabar to remember them. The Door slid open to reveal a long steel corridor, one of the Emperor's Guard stood every 5 paces. Walking down the corridor all the guards saluted without a word. At the end was another steel door, with a small sign saying 'Private' on it.

"This is my secret command room," Shadaum said as he punched in another code into the number pad on the door. It too opened, this time to reveal a large room, aides were rushing from consol to consol. A large holographic display of Planet Thrashia and little dots representing ships was showing on the wall. Guards stood around at the entrances and a Major walked up and saluted. "Sir we weren't expecting you." Shadaum merely nodded. He walked down some steps and walked to a chair sitting in the middle of the room. Taking a seat he looked up at Alabar who had followed. "Now my friend I wish to show you what I have decided to give you. As you know I have my own fleet command ship, the Soveriegn. I gave instructions for the shipyards to make a replica of it." A picture appeared on the display showing two Sovereign-class ships hanging in space next to one another. "So, for your reward of service I am giving this for you to use as a command ship." Alabar was speechless.

"Thankyou my lord, I will try to earn what you have given me." Alabar saluted then left. The Major walked up and stood beside the Emperor. "Are you sure that was wise sir?"

"I have yet to decide that."

The weapons of the clone armies of Thrashia is very simple, this being so prodcution is fast and cheaply done.

Quake Main Battle Rifle

-The Quake rifle is a rifle that fires bolts of high energy, also known as lasers; full capactiy of 90 shots resides in each clip. This is the mainstay of all clone forces. It has semi and automatic capabilities. It weighs 5.6 pounds and a full 6 with clip added.

Each clone also wears basic heavy flak armour for protection.


"Speaker" Assualt Launcher
-The "Speaker" is Thrashia's main missile launcher. Its krak missiles have a range of 600 meters, and are able to penetrate most armour types.

"Show me what you have come up with General Dankin." The Emperor sat behind his study desk looking at his best army general. Dankin wat at attention with a small hand-held hologram desk in his hands.

"Well sir, I have my own team of scientists researching for new weapon ideas, and I think they've come upon something intersting." Dankin moved up to the Emperor's desk and set down the holo-desk. He pushed a small button and an image appears. "What is this General?"
"My team of developers have named it "The Eyes of Odin" Grand Cannon my lord. It has 12 main guns, not laser, but each fires a shell of depleted uranium filled with the most combustible explosives available to Thrashian arms manufacturers. It has a range of 3.2 miles. Each shell is capable to penetrate some of the heaviest armour and concrete. I have a need for a artillery battery piece in the military sir, and this so far is the best besides have so many individual guns. It seems a big target but it has a shield generator installed so that at any time a shield as strong as the one of a Super Shadaum cruiser will surround it." Dankin beamed with pride at the armour piece.

"How fast does it move over plains, as well as rocky terrain?"
"It moves, over smooth surfaces, at 20 miles per hour at full speed; over rocky ground most likely not over 10 sir, but the shield is able to protect it even when moving."

"Very well, I allow you to construct me a prototype of this monstrous...thing."

Before the Emperor could have time to possibly change his mind Dankin left and went staight to the arms factory.

Clone Army Reserve new numbers: 4,350,730 troops; 15,000 Titans

With the clone armies proving very useful Grand Admiral Alabar has ordered that production be pushed from each clone factory from 50,000 to 70,000 a month. He has also called for the decrease in the production of Titan tanks from 300 a month from each factory to 100 a month.

Shipyards continue their production plans, all on schedule.

On order of Grand Admiral Alabar, Titan production has stopped. This being so the resourses for that project can be shifted for fleet use. General Dankin, commander in chief off all Thrashian ground forces grudgingly agreed.

Under orders of his majesty Emperor Shadaum IV, Grand Admiral Alabar has decomissioned all Titan-class tanks for melt down and renewal. His designers have constructed a new tank design. The new tank being shown below:

So far 300 of the new tanks have been built and clone crews trained in the use of the new tank. They have replaced the Titans that were in the 1st Army.

One must puzzle over the meaning of this disproportionate spending on a purely offensive military. May we have Thrashia's word of honour that it won't start an unprovoked offensive campaign in the near future?
We also note that a prolonged offensive would ruin Thrashia's otherwise outstanding economy and cause a humanitarian crisis. Moreover, seeing as how its civilian population is oppressed by the undefendable actions of its dictator, Thrashia should focus on the welfare of her citizens instead of this puerile show of force.

Emperor Shadaum read hte message with distaste. He turned to his hologram recorder. Turning the dial and pressing a view buttons he began recording his message to be sent.

"I have at the moment no aspirations to conquer or attack any of my fellow nations. The disposition of my subjects is no concern of yours. My army and fleet is being built so as to prepare Thrashia and asure its future in the galaxy. I bear you no ill will, and will even offer alliance to you, but my countries affairs are mine non of your concern. Good-day to you."

The hologram was sent within the hour.

Colonel Van Niek, commander of Thrashia's military intelligence, not wanting to be outclased by Alabar secretly began a new program with the best robotics and engineering scientists he could find, as well as freeing several prison inmates with scientific background for the use of his project. None yet know what the project is to accomplish.
