In the Lightning Starian Capital of Helios

"Stupid sun, why can't it just RAIN for once..." said the Lightning Starian President, Ikbar Imaheem as he sat in his office. It was a sweltering 130 farenheit(around somewhere like 35-40 C i think...), and to make matters worse the AC in the presidential palace was broken. Just my luck! thought President Imaheem angrily. "Come, Julius, I need to go visit Carikon today," he instructed his aide. 30 minutes later, Zafar 1(the equivalent of AirForce One for TLS) was zooming over the Helios Desert. No matter how angry the president was, however, he was soon to have a bigger problem on his hands. A much bigger problem.

In the Center of Helios, Azaad Square

Lakiro looked at his companion, Pairok, with much anxiety. Both men, from the province of Storfani, were carrying a VERY important package. It was a box carrying donor blood for the clinic just down the road. Or at least that is what the box said. In reality, however, it was a nuclear bomb. The provinces of Storfani and Gorlikoy had been pushing for independence peacefully, and there had even been an all out war a few years back, but the government had refused to listen to the pleas of the people. Now the Lightning Star would pay the largest price.

The men set the box down at the foot of the statue of the Great Duke Barry, founder of The Lightning Star and the first Emperor. It would be fitting that duke Barry have his statue destroyed by freedom fighters, for that is the same way that HE died. Freedom Fighters from the Island of East Washibar(which was the Island on which Storfani and Gorlikoy are located), back when it was still a desert wasteland, blew the Imperial Palace up with a large bomb. Now they would destroy the entire city.

As soon as they had planted the bomb, the men threw off their cloaks and revealed their military clothing with the symbol of Free Washibar on it. The people in the square looked in utter amazement at the rebels. Most had never seen any except for dead on T.V. "People of The Lightning Star, the day of East Washibar has come!" Lakiro shouted to the crowd. "For too long have you opressed our people! Now we shall get revenge for our fallen brothers! We shall now send you to where you belong, to the depths of hell!" With that, Pairok flipped the switch and the entire square was filled with a blast of light.

Then there was nothing.

TLSN News: Breaking Report

This is Chuck Osinheimer reporting from our Orlikos Station.

Something terrible has happened on this day. The city of Helios has been obliterated by a nuclear bomb. As of this moment, we do not know who could have done it, but all we know is that it wasn't an ICBM. The President has come out to speak to the people.

President: People of The Lightning Star, today is a sad day in our history. Enemies of our glorious state have detonated a bomb in the city of Helios. The most conservative death estimates put the death toll at at least 13 million dead and 20 million wounded, while some estimates go as high as 20 million dead and 32 million wounded. While no doubt the death toll shall rise tremendously due to radiation, that shant dampen our resolve on finding the enemies who did this!

"Call 'em. Ask them if they need anything. Civil disobedience is fine, but this is terrorism. Must be eradicated." He sighed and stood up.

Ever since the intervention of the old Most Serene Republic of Shalrirorchia in TLS many years ago, the Shalrirorchians had kept an embassy in Helios to smooth over relations. Upon the dissolution of the MSRS and the union of Morningstar and Arkady into the United States of Shalrirorchia, U.S.S. expanded the embassy complex in Helios, but did very little else diplomatically in relation to the Lightning Starians.

The nuclear blast that rocked Helios also succeeded in killing the U.S.S. ambassador, the majority of his staff, and the Marine security detachment responsible for the defense of the compound. The Shalrirorchians were understandably outraged at the deaths of their countrymen, and the capital of Shalcoria reverberated with calls for revenge.

The U.S.S. Congress passed Resolution 15021-2004, giving the President the authority to use military force to crush the East Washibar Insurgency and bring the terrorists to justice. The representatives of Islamic sections of Arkady actually walked out in protest of 15021-2004, but the measure nevertheless garnered overwhelming support.

An angry President Gistarai, who was in office the LAST time Shalrirorchia got involved with Washibar and TLS, promised swift actions. "From the ashes of Helios will rise a new determination to finish the East Washibar situation once and for all. The United States of Shalrirorchia stands ready to assist President Imaheem's nation with the might of the U.S.S. military."

Bio: United States of Shalrirorchia, Shalrirorchian Defense Force (SDF)

The SDF is the U.S.S. Army, referred to as the "long arm of Shalrirorchian diplomacy". Built to fight conventional set-piece battles, the SDF employs advanced technology and well-trained soldiers to accomplish objectives.

The SDF is currently commanded by General John Sharana, a veteran of command who is noted for his colorful, unorthodox tactics.

The nuclear detonation in TLS was the topic of the Clan Council.

The Senator from the Orange Clan now had the floor, "Senators from our diverse clans, our military is still in the process of rebuilding we cannot risk loosing even more soldiers. Dracun would therefore become defenseless and not able to defend herself In case an armed aggressor would make his move."

The Senator from the Black Dragon Clan a very influential clan and the most famous and powerful, asked for the floor, "Clan Chancellor may I take the floor?"

Loud Cheers erupted at the end of the Senator's speech. It was obvious the Clan Council wanted to intervene. They all looked to the Chancellor.

The Chancellor thought for a second then spoke "Senator of the Black Dragon clan you are correct in your assumption. However we cannot intervene without TLS's permission but we will however mobilize in case."
Applause answered the Chancellor answer.

The Government of The Lightning Star is grateful for the response from the international community. We can assure you that this rebellion shall be crushed as soon as possible, and that order shall be returned soon enough.

So far all that we know about the rebels is sketchy. We used to have an active intelligence base on them, but that was years ago. Then the rebellion groups stats were as so:

Since our conception this area has contantly tried to break away and have commited mass atrocities to do so. We believe that with your help we can finally put an end to this madness.

In the jungles of East Washibar

All across the island villagers had cut down all the trees within a 1 kilometer radius of their villages. Once all the villages told the rebel groups that they had done this, thousands of East Washibaris took up torches and began to march towards the jungle that simbolized Lightning Starian Opression. Before the people reached the jungle, thousands of Washibari planes came and doused the jungles with gasoline, napalm(not on fire, just the napalm itself), and oil. When the citizens finally reached the flamable jungle, they threw in their torches. All across the island, 80,000,000 or so citizens(as well as 1 million Washibari soldiers) threw their torches into the jungle. The shackles of Lightning Starian opression had been thrown off. Now they would prepare for war.

TLSN Report

It has just come to our attention that the people of East Washibar have, quite literally, set the jungles of East Washibar on fire. Already, it is estimated that 30% of the jungle has already been decimated. Ecologists are warning that this will cause the entire island to become a desert, but most political observers believe that is what the people are trying to do. They claim that they are burning the jungle to the ground to "throw off the shackles" as it were.

Meanwhile, Poopsi-cola has announced that it is coming up with a new flavor that, literally, tastes like Sh*t...

The rain doused the streets of Port Belgrade as it came down in torrents. General Marcus Julius stood on the deck of the transport ship watching the Praetorians through the gloom as they marched to the docks to board the vessels bound for The Lightning Star. All accounted for, the Imperial forces would number in at one million, with possible reinforcements to arrive.

"General Julius, sir. News from the front. Apparently the rebels took it upon themselves to clear a path for us. Burned the whole damned jungle down."

The general chuckled.

"Excellent."

There was a knock at the generals door, he looked up from his desk where he was planning out a training operation for his Elite forces he commanded.

"Enter!" He barked.

A young major marched into the room in a rush, flung up a salute and quickly showed the general a file, that he promptly put on his desk, steped back and saluted, about turned and marched back out.

The general opened the file up as soon as the major had turned his back, and skimmread the entire 6 pages of the summary on The Lightening Star.

"MAJOR CROWE!!!" Shouted the General.
" Yes sir!"
"Get over here at the double! I hope you can type fast!"
"On my way sir!"

The general soon had the Major typing like he had never typed before, messages to the cabinet, the Defence minister, the Information Minister, The minister of Produce, anyone he could think of that was needed to do something for the mission at hand. And of course, he made sure that his special forces got prepared.

OOC: Is it alright if i was to attack Washibar with my special forces? It would be done in secret and i could do with some support from you guys to make sure my nation didnt get slaughtered if Washibar found out i was attacking their nation. If this cannot happen i will gladly send troops, aircraft and Fast Attack craft to help IN TLS

Admiral Marius Julianus stood on the deck of his flagship, the Alexei class battleship Ariana. The air was hot and humid, and the admiral frequently was forced to wipe the sweat from his brow with a handkerchief. In the distance, the admiral's gaze focused on the trails of smoke curling into the clear blue sky, marking the location of his destination: the isle of East Washibur.

Soon they would arrive, and they would unleash hell on the unfortunate rebels and their supporters, as the Empire had done so many times before. East Washibur would become just another skull etching on the helmet of a Praetorian.

The Chancellor sat at his desk an The Foregin Minister, Joseph Elkins a former canidate entered.

"Have we recieved a report from TLS yet?" asked the Chancellor

"No, not yet we are still awaiting. Though our armed forces have been mobilized for war. They can and are expected to do supremely welll."

"That's good to hear" the Chancellor said little proud

"Sir what if we get no word from TLS about why the detonation occured?" the minister suddenly asked

The tone of the room became silent, "We will enter on the Rebel's side, there must be an underlying reason for not responding so far."

"True sir"

"Dismissed Minister" the minister turned walked out of the office.


Meanwhile around 500,000 Troops and and assault weapons and such were being mobilized and put on ships and other means of transportations. The Dracun Imperium was going to war, on one side or another

"U.S.S. intelligence believes that the rebellion relies heavily on Washibarian support, weapons, etc." General Sharana said to his fellow generals, punching a control on the holotable. The entire staff of U.S.S. Central Command was sitting deep inside the mountain command center that was the nerve center for Shalrirorchia's military.

A large holographic representation of the nation of Washibar flickered into ethereal existence in the air above them, showing all available recon data on the nation. It was a formidable-looking land, and Sharana paused long enough to let the Staff soak up the details.

"This is not the first time that East Washibar has risen in revolt, as you well know. Shalrirorchia was involved once before, but back then we did not have the technology, numbers, or political capital for full-scale intervention. Now we do." Sharana added.

"I heard that the President has authorized action against the Rebellion, and that Congress is in agreement, sans formality." Maj. General Toku Shazer commented.

"You are partially correct, Toku." Sharana replied. "We're going to take down Washibar once and for all."

There was silence in the room for perhaps ten seconds.

"WASHIBAR? Not EAST Washibar?" Maj. General Colin Carville almost choked on his coffee.

"Correct." replied Sharana succinctly. "It is our belief that we can fatally undercut the East Washibar Rebellion AND destroy a vicious Islamic regime at the same time, paving the way for transition to democracy."

"What type of order of battle are we speaking of, here?" Shazer interrupted, holding up a hand. If this plan went forward, he would likely be in command since this WAS his theatre of operation.

"We are looking at an initial deployment of 15 field armies in 3 army groups." Sharana replied, "And we have deep reserves if necessary." Shazer's jaw almost dropped. That was 15,000,000 men right off the bat...about half of the U.S.S.'s total army strength. It would easily be the largest deployment in U.S.S. history, considering that the last war had, at maximum, involved only 500,000 troops.

"Shazer," Sharana said, nodding to him. "You're a junior officer here, but you have one of the most unconventional minds I've ever seen. And we'll need that...you are going to be fighting an unconventional enemy, I fear. I'm tapping you to command the invasion of Washibar."

Toku swallowed to cover his anxiety, pulling on his uniform coat. "I accept the command." he replied graciously.

"Good, I knew I could count on you." Sharana replied evenly. "Your objectives are simply...pacify Washibar, capture their capital, and take their leaders prisoner if you can. I will give you a relatively free hand to map out strategy so long as you get the job done."

"Yes sir."

The United States of Shalrirorchia announced today the mobilization of the SDF to meet the looming threat of international terrorism.

"The U.S.S. will stand by no longer and watch the actions of terrorist murderers!" promised President Tarumigan Gistarai at a Rose Garden speech today. "Shalrirorchia has the power to make terrorist organizations...and the regimes that support them...pay for their violence. We must do this for the sake of our children, that they may grow up in a world of hope and not hate."

When asked whether the East Washibar uprising was a danger to the U.S.S., the President responded, "I will not stand by as danger draws closer and closer. The United States of Shalrirorchia will not allow the world's most vicious regimes to use the world's most destructive weapons."

Although the President did not explicitly mention Washibar, it is clear that the Gistarai Administration has the Islamic nation in the crosshairs. One Defense Department official, speaking in confidence to our reporters, said that, "Washibar's HOURS are now numbered."

The Socialist Spartan Republic Regional Nations had a press meeting this morning after declaring a DEFCON 2 military-wide alert and the emperor is quoted saying "There has been enough war, terror and agrssion. We propose a round table meeting for all parties involved." When questinoed on which party the SSR nations would support, Emperor Aexandre Stalin said "We will support Washibar because of our our policy of discouraging violent goverment overthrows by fellow nations."

Secret IC: Durring a military brief the highest commander sat in a deep bunker somwhere in Dracun. Here a major military operation was about to commence.

The Chancellor who had taken direct control in the planning breif his top military commanders.
"All right people, intellegence reports that the nation of Shalrirorchia intent is to wipe out Washibar... totatly. This is something we cannot allow to happen to the Washibarians, whether they set off the bomb for terrorist actions, or a cry for help. We will now be siding with Easy Washibar to free it from the grasp of The Lightning Star. We will be moving from the north with our Air Guard(Air Force), and our transports and escorts will move in fron the west there job will be to protect East & West Washibar and her interests. A second invasion force will invade Lightning Star, and force all of the other nation attacking Washibar to focus on defending Lightning Star as well."

He stopped for a second for the overall plan to sink in he then continued

"Before our forces arrive Cruise Missiles will assault TLS military bases and installations. Then our forces will land. Similiar to the campagin in Zanzilk durring the Dark Ages, we will use guerilla tatics and troops to annoy and harras all of the TLS interest on their mainland, while the same will happen in Washibar. With Washibar's permision our troops will land and begin to fortify the area for defense against TLS and her allies incase a frontal assault somehow happens. 500,000 More troops have been mobilized for an invasion if nessecary of Washibar if we begin to realize the Guerilla Campaign won't work. Any Questions?"

No one raised there hands.

IC: The Chancellor appeared on T.V. acrossed Dracun and where permited internationaly. He wore the ceremonial white armour and cape and his white crown.
"Today we go to war not to free East Washibar but to protect it from extermination. TLS and her allies plan to take East Washibar by force instead of using their heads. We will now show them the meaning of Agressive Negotiations. May Freedom Reign and may warrior's fortune smile upon our troops."

Lord Avidius Cassius, Imperially Appointed director of foreign military affairs sat in the sealed conference room deep below the White Citadel. He sat at the head of a long table, each side filled with various high ranking military and intelligence personnel.

"Mr. Cac here tells me that the situation in East Washibur is rapidly degrading. Apparently the nation of Shalrirorchia has seen fit to declare a complete crusade against the nation of Washibur. As a result of this, the Dracun Imperium has shifted support to the rebellion in East Washibur.

This poses an interesting problem on account of our current deployments readying to land on the island to suppress the rebellion. Intelligence transmission show that the Dracun Imperium is preparing for a complete invasion of the Lightning Star to head off deployments to the island, thus ensuring the success of the rebellion.

Gentlemen, I called you here today to discuss our options. If we recall our men to defend TLS, we'll be playing right into their hands. However, if we continue with our original course, we'll be leaving our boys isolated in that hellhole, enemies on all sides."

One of the men spoke up.

"Hell, Avidius, they won't last two seconds if we leave them stranded like that!"

A murmur went up around the table.

"We could completely pull involvement from the war."

At this, a man stood up, rage in his eyes.

"What the hell are you talking about!? You want to just let tham take TLS!?"

"It's us or them."

"Son of a bitch! You cowardly piece of shit! Are you a Generian!?"

Cassius stood up, and raised his hands for order.

"Gentlemen! Calm down! Markov, I want to make clear right now that withdrawal is not a valid option. It would be a blatant betrayal of a longtime Imperial ally, and I won't let it happen."

One man, General josef Ivanov, who had since remained silent, spoke up.

"Well, we could counter invade."

"counter invade?"

"I mean we could redirect our forces to initiate a full invasion of the Dracun Imperium."

"Are you nuts!? That would be suicide!"

"Not exactly. With our reinforcement divisions so close on the heels of our first deployment, we could manage to gain ourselves at least a foothold. This would buy our allies time to remedy the situation in East Washibur by forcing the Dracun imperium to recall its assets to manage a crisis in its homeland. Basically, we're turning their strategy against them."

Silence reigned for a few moments.

"That's just crazy enough to work. I say we go with it."

After an hour or so of further deliberations it was decided that a full Imperial invasion of the Dracun Imperium would be enacted, in a crazed attempt to redirect their reinforcements from TLS. The Empire was indeed truly putting her wellbeing in the hands of her allies.

"They want us to do whatnow?"

"It's a direct dispatch sir, from Antonius himself."

"Well, if it's what the Emperor wants, hell, he's gonna get it."

The admiral picked up a phone that went directly to the quarters of General Julius, commander of the Praetorian expeditionary force.

"General, I trust you've recieved the dispatch."

"Hell, are they crazy?"

"That's not up to us to decide. Think your boys are up to the job?"

"God knows they are. These are the toughest sons of bitches we've got. All veterans from Ukraine and Moldova. Like I said, tough as nails. Dracun can send whoever the fuck they want, they're not gonna lick the Praetorians."

"That's good to hear. Get some sleep. We've got a long trip ahead of us."

"Aye-aye."

The U.S.S. Combined Fleet has arrived offshore of Washibar with a battle group nucleus of 10 of the new Hyperion-Class NCVs. The flagship of the fleet, under the command of Admiral Orden, is the U.S.S. Hyperion. Each of the carriers is escorted by 3 cruisers, 3 AEGIS cruisers, 4 destroyers, 8 frigates, and 2 attack submarines.

The Combined Fleet is the offensive arm of the U.S.S. Navy and has been assigned to protect the Assault Fleet, which consists of literally hundreds of transport vessels. The Assault Fleet has defensive capabilities as well, consisting of 6 battleships, 12 battle cruisers, 20 cruisers of various classes, and 20 frigates.

U.S.S. Command Structure.-

All U.S.S. forces are linked into the satellite-based MILSTARS warfare system, allowing real time tactical control for the command staff at an individual level. This allows for unprecedented seamless operations between Command and the battlefield, and between various branches of the U.S.S. Armed Services.

General Shazer is commanding the ground war from the Strategy Center of the U.S.S. Hyperion currently, as he has no bases in Washibar itself at the current time.

The current MO for Shalrirorchia is a fairly conventional start to the invasion: Naval forces will bombard the shores of Washibar with gunfire. Aircraft and cruise missiles will be targeted on critical Washibarian command and transportation targets. The primary targets in this barrage are airfields, railroads, and command centers in that order. The Operation, code-named "Infinite Justice", seeks to paralyze the forces of Washibar in the early stages of battle, allowing uninhibited Shalrirorchian movement across the battlefield.

We still are keeping our 30,000 "Peacekeeping" Special Forces there.

We arn't pulling out...yet.

Sel Appa will commit troops for the rebels ASAP. We are enemies of TLS and will gladly help their rebels.

We have decided to commit six million more "peacekeepers" to The Lightning Star.

The 1st Marine expeditionary force consisting of 150,000 men made landfall on the positions already occupied by Generic and Borman forces. This force was Wirraway's rapid response team and had already been sent over the TLS when the crisi had arisen in anticipation of their use. The marines began to unload as Abrams rushed down landing craft ramps onto the beach and beagn forming up to head into East Washibar. In 6 hours later the full complement had landed and set up camp in anticipation of moving out.

The Republic of Sandpit, on behalf of the Regional Federation of Cannabis Supporting Nations (RFCSN), would like to offer our condolences to the victims to this atrocity. OOC: Woah woah WOAH! Hold yer horses! I havent been on, so now im REALLY confused. I hafta go eat, but if someone would gimme a summary of what happened it would be appreciated.

Also, i havent been able to RP the Rebels or TLS, so any MAJOR military events(IE defeats on one of those sides) will hafta be ignored. What is a war when i cant RP the sides?

The rain was coming down in torrents over the deck of the Anja, an Alexei class battleship and flagship of the 32nd Imperial assault group. Admiral Lord Quintus Garus peered through the grey mess outside of the bridge window.

The fleet had been traveling out of Port Belgrade for nearly a week and a half, departing a few days after the original expeditionary force. They had been told they would be reinforcing the first deployment, and would be landing on a nice, clear, secure beach. That had now changed, and instead they would be the first ones in.

As the rain began to ease up later that night, the Imperial fleets neared the distant isle. The assault would come at dawn, hard and fast. Resistance on the shore was expected to be light, as the enemy was simply a large group of disorganized revolutionaries. Faced with the full, organized might of the Imperial military, they would fold quickly.

Admiral Garus watched the shadowy mass looming before him in the pre-dawn gloom. Activity on the bridge had increased substantially in the past few hours as the hour of the assault drew near.

“Lord Garus, all task forces are reporting full operational readiness. They need a green light.”

“Make it so, captain.”

The orders went out over the fleet. The alarms sounded and the red lights flashed in the below decks. On the decks of the three carriers, GIF-101s and GIF-77s were locked into position. The aircraft surged forth from the decks out over the black waters.

The aircraft neared the shore, the GIF-101s out in front, paving the way for the 77s.

“So that’s what it looks like. Kinda plain if you ask me.”

The 101s pulled up, as the GIF-77s drew closer to the shore.

“Alright boys, let’s burn these sons of bitches.”

Spread out across the shores were a few sparse TLS bunkers and shore batteries, leftovers from the occupation. Chances are they now housed rebel troops.

The GIF-77s flew in over their targets and unleashed a barrage of guided and incendiary bombs, effectively turning the bunkers into large ovens. As the first group finished its barrage, a second squadron flew in over the beach, further inland towards a group of scattered villages rumored to house artillery guns. The same procedure ensued. Incendiary and guided bombs were dumped out onto the villages cooking whatever was inside.

With the completion of the initial aerial bombardment, the GIF-77s returned for refueling and rearmament. The GIF-101s maintained patrol over the shoreline.

Aboard the transports, the Praetorians flooded into the landing craft. The GILCACs roared out over the water, the Praetorians huddled against the spray.

Lieutenant Jacob Sanovan clutched his GIR-37, and tried to catch a glimpse of the shoreline over the walls of the craft.

“Twenty seconds!”

Sanovan checked his ammo, and waited. He glanced about at his unit. Most had faces obscured by black masks, but their eyes betrayed no emotion, cold and hard as steel. These were no petty green recruits, they were the battle hardened warriors of the Emperor’s own 352nd Praetorian regiment, fresh from deployment in Buchiana.

That war was still fresh in the mind of Sanovan. He had been on occupation duty for the past three months, but the sounds of combat echoed in his ears. At least this time he would be killing foreigners. He gripped his weapon more tightly.

The first wave hit, the doors of the craft slamming into the rock and sand of the beach. The Praetorians charged out, rushing forward onto the shore as the guns on the landing craft fired a suppressing volley at whatever enemy there may have been lurking on the ridges above.

OOC: Umm, i missed like 3pages of this...damn. What nation should i be attacking if i am supporting TLS? with special troops?

Major crowe looked up at the sky, it was the perfect night for entry into any nation in the region. The sea was calm enough for smaller assault boats to land troops, and there was no light in the sky from the moon as it was hiden by clouds, no-one would have noticed a few well trained special troops...

"Major!" Came the whisper, " we've got to dive, Our scans are showing patrol boats headed this way, get back in here quick!"

The major looked at the vast Submarine he was on. It was invisible to all but those on it, jet black, lying low in the water. The power in this one Submarine was enourmous, a normal Ohio class submarine would carry 24 ICBMs, this one carried only a small assortment of missiles designed to protect the sub and its passengers. Only a small space was taken up by these weapons, the rest was needed for the Black rise troops and their equipment. These troops were the best trained troops that VP had, and they were getting ready to attack some obscure nation they didnt anything about.

The major jumped down the ladder in no time, he knew they had to move, if they were caught then the whole of VP would be in danger.

3 Michigan Class Troop Transport ships layed wait carrying the 3rd Royal Infrantry Division. The Strapilin, the head commanding ship of the 3, had Captian Andrew Dorsea aboard. He looked out over the sea as he saw the Generian forces land on the beach. It was now time for the 3rd Infrantry to join their allies. Captian Dorsea walked back up to his quarters.

"Give the green light for landing craft departure." Dorsea told one of the commanding sailor's.

A siren rang out between all 3 Transport ships marking the beginning of the invasion. Upon hundreds of landing craft departed from the 3 mother ships heading to the shores that were all ready in the heat of battle. On one of the landing craft was Sergent James Bocher. One of the top trained Sergents in the whole Tylinoa military.

"Alright men, don't expect a warm welcome out here, we need to show this enemy what the Tylinoa military can do when you mess with their allies. I want at least everyone to kill one of the opposing force when we hit the beach, now lets kick some ass!" Sergent Bocher yelled as the soldiers replied "Hooyah!"

The craft were now 20 seconds from landing and the troops were anxious for battle. The first wave of landing craft hit the beaches, the doors slaming down on the wet sand as hundreds of Tylinoan marines charged out towards the enemy. In the next few seconds the rest of the 3rd Infrantry hit the beach. There didn't seem to be much resistance after the Generian bombing raid. Still the 3rd Infrantry faced a few pockets of light resistance, but they easily took the light resistance.

"Ok troops, group up with the Generic forces, we need to take this beach!" Sergent Bocher yelled as the marines now moved up with the Generic forces.

Green lights flicked on as bay doors opened and what seemed to be hundreds of transport ships flooded out.

Officers inspired their men and gave glory speeches as thesound of combat grew more evident.

Finally loading doors slammed into sand as Borman marines charged up the hill of blood-soaked sand. Body parts were strewn about fightign had been pushed back further in.

"To the dunes!"

Marines threw themselves on the dunes and began to open up on the Washibans on teh other side. Grenades fell on both sides as a thick cloud of fire destroyed any hope of scaling the dunes.

"Sir, we're stuck here untill someone can get them to pull back or they run oput of ammo. Or of course we kill them."

"See if there are any Generians further inland and if they can come hit the rebels from the rear. Untill then just bombard them with grenades."

"Yes sir."

To update you on that, LS, The U.S.S. is launching an invasion of Washibar to crush support there for the Rebellion.

As Generic troops hit the dunes, Tylinoa marines followed. The battle raged on to control the whole beach. Grenades came through the air like rain falling from the sky. Smoke clouds formed as every grenade landed on the sand taking another soldier's life. Part of the 3rd Infrantry division managed to get over the dunes and more inland. This group was led by Captian Mike Wallace, one of the most honorable soldier's in the Tylinoan military. He and his group of 15 soldiers made a pocket to the Northeast of the beach allowing for more troops to get inland. But once Captian Wallace got word that Generian forces had some resistance just West of the pocket, his group knew what they had to do.

"Marines, Generian forces are held up towards the western part of the beach and we need to help them out. Opposing forces are grenading the hell out of them so we need to sneak up on them and light their asses up. Move out Marines!" Captian Wallace announced to his combatants.

Wallace's men made it towards the oppostion's area. The 15 men spread out into groups of 5, one group would flank the right, one the left, and one strait from the back. Each group was ready and in position, the soldiers grasped their Xm-8 issued assault rifles and were ready to fire.

"Wait..... wait........ NOW!!!!!" Captian Wallace announced to his squad. The marines fired their rifles and threw all the grenades they had. The opposing force had now clue what had happen. When the smoke cleared, bodies of the dead Washibans were scattered around the dune. Blood drizzled down the sand, now the invading forces could move inland. Wallace group managed to get the job done, but lost three of their friends in the process. Wallace took the helmets and rifles of the men and stuck the rifles in the sand where they died placing the helmet atop representing what they did for their country.

With a area cleared Borman soldiers were able to capture the back part of a dune. Qucik greetigns and thanks were given to the Tylinoan men and then the Bormans moved on.

They went to the backs of each group of rebels holdign a part of the dune and eliminated them. In a short tiem tanks were rolling over the dunes as the onslaught pressed forwards.

"Lets go."

Here was where the new tank was to be tested. IT was much like a BMT but much mroe gunned.

I was just having so much FUN playing Rome: Total War! It took me a few tries, but finally i manage to conquer Rome as Carthage! It took days and days, and i had to amass a HUGE army, but I Finally did it!

Unfortunatly, it DID take me a few days...

So i'm just gonna say this thread is dead :(.
