Forming the nation of Baltic Karelia

Since the military coup, when the government from Kopparbergs was overruled, president Karl Andersson (previously know as General Andersson) had worked hard with forming a new government that fits his needs.

The new government should be somewhere between the leftist and centrist on the political scale. He handpicked a close group of people that should be his closest in the government. So far he had come up with this:

Secretary of Foreign Affairs: Björn Ramnäve
Secretary of Trade: Ingemar Backberger
Secretary of Internal Affairs: Svennis Aschberg
Secretary of International Aid: Linda Mossbo

(Linda Mossbo (the only woman in the government) was a beautiful woman that turned Andersson on. In his dreams the two of them was a married couple.)

Andersson also had made a couple of people responsible for the diplomatic connections with other nations. The first official international diplomatic was Mr. Peter Stålnacke (age 46), who was going to work on the Karelian embassy in Layarteb.

Our government in a bid to prevent the further spread of anti-right wing governments demands the break up of this country and respective government or further steps military or otherwise will be taken.

We welcome you to the international community, and we will gladly recognise Baltic Karelia as a new, independent political entity. Should further threats be made to your national integrity, please do no hesistate to look from assistance from us.

Wonderful. The embassy plot has been located. It's in downtown Tunis, the capitol of Cotland, and construction will commence immediately. Do you have any requests in the construction of the building, or do you wish to construct the embassy yourself?

We will be sending Mr. Stanley Kildo (age 42) to St. Petersburg along with the standard diplomatic staff (5 department heads, 3 aides, 4 secretaries, 14 staff) and the standard security complement (20 specially trained soldiers armed with MP5 9mm submachine guns and Beretta 9mm pistols) as soon as the embassy has been constructed. We have one request, that we get a helipad capable of supporting a Merlin HM Mk1 hellicopter. You will naturally be allowed to bring along 400 staff and 150 security personell, but we ask that you don't bring along any weapons with higher caliber then .45, for security reasons. We also request that you don't have secret armouries in the embassy. Your intelligence services will be allowed to search our embassy at a random date once a year.

We appreciate all the help we can have with the building of the embassy.
We want to have a helipad for medium sized helicopters on the roof (that's important). We prefer to have our embassy near the Cotlandic government if that's possible.

Baltic Karelia has a policy that we do not have any armed personnel at our embassies. Of course you're allowed to have armed personnel in your embassy in St. Petersburg, we just don't see why it should be neccesary for us to have weapons in our embassies.

We welcome Mr. Stanley Kildo to St. Petersburg whenever he's ready for his new assignment!

Dear sir,

Since you are a new nation, we wish to further strengthen our relations by covering the whole cost of construction, and will assist you in any way. A medium sized helipad on the roof is no problem. The embassy will basicly be 3 buildings gathered around a garden/park, with the helipad on top of the main building (4 floors high) with the other buildings (2 floors high). If you have any objections regarding this plan, please, don't hesitate to contact us. As for the location of the embassy, it is only 250 metres from the Parliment building in Tunis, and 100 metres from the nearest policestation.

The reason we asked about weapons is that many nations wish to have more protection then the standard police contingency (OOC: like the Marines in the US embassies) in/around their embassies. We will use the weaponry in our embassy for self-defence only! You have my promise.

Ambassador Kildo and his family (wife Helen, age 39 and son Eric, age 12) along with the rest of the staff will arrive once the embassy in St. Petersburg is complete. As a sign of trust and friendship, we wish to employ local arcitects and workers to design and build the embassy.

I look forward to a strong and longlasting friendship between our two nations.

We thank you for your generous offer regarding the construction of our embassy. We accept the plans of the embassy without any changes and the location seems to be perfectly fine!

We’re also thinking of establishing a consulate at the Faeroe Islands, but we must have the embassy in Tunis up and running first.

We’re looking forward to continue the good relations between the two of our countries.

We can not leave our Borders unguarded, especially since we have just Liberated Hungary from a Opressive Government, well we just can't leave the Country unguarded. But we will be at peace with your boarders, and our Military and Police Personell will not fire upon a Citizen or Representative etc etc of North Germania, Perhaps it would be better if we could settle a friendly relation ship? we are not asking that you remove your border patrol. Simply, that a military build-up that appears to be directed towards us not occur.
