Tanthan sends exploration teams to Switzerland and Slovenkia (Earth BC)
Tanthan wishing to explore new lands have sent small teams of 40 explorers each to uncover the unclaimed and unified lands of Switzerland and Slovenkia.
Slovenkia lies to the south and very little is known about it at this point.
Switzerland lies to the east and is only known to have mountainous terrain and mixed weather.
People from Tanthan begin crossing over into Switzerland, the promise of living space and vast hilly regions have sparked a general interest from a collection of the five groups currently working together. A weak form of civilian run government is in effect, but the feeling that this land is open has given reason for moving into it.
However the group sent to Slovenia has not returned yet and a feeling of unrest has started within Tanthan about this, but another year will pass before any action will be considered.
Over half of Switzerland has been invaded by a small army of militia and merchants with many farmers and settlers. Around 200,000 people in total begin to spread across Switzerland, finding the terrain much like that of Tanthan the ability to adapt is not needed and the spread at which the people moved in was great.
The team sent to Slovenkia has just returned, the trip was longer then expected due to the distance and the terrain was rougher then expected. However since because of the time and distance of it a military force will take another year to be called up to invade it and control everything to the sea.
Tanthan is experiencing an economoical boom while the government is being divided to fit the new areas and work independantly to deal with issues between the soon to be added lands.
