Curtis and Yuna, the first encounter (1995-1996)

Decisive Action

Rped between Sevaris and DA over MSN. If you don't like language, drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and possible adult situations, then don't read any further. Consider yourself warned. (There is nothing graphic or explicit, it's just if you don't like people drinking or smoking etc, and other stuff stated, if you're a prude, don't read on. You prudes know who you are)

It was February of 1995, Yuna Alessandri was a sixteen year old girl touring Mississippi, she was there to see the sights and see what sort of regime the Mississippian National Front Party had been building. She was hoping to find somebody in the Volunteer Guard who was in the position to help her cause in a possible revolution in Spain.

She was eager to report back to her friend Alec Mannerheim in Spain- he was the leader of the Democratic Students' Union, which was one of the main opposition groups to the leftist regime.

As she was walking down the main avenue in Jackson City, two men wearing SRG uniforms came up to her, "Ma'am, please come with us..."

She spoke, in a slight Romanian accent, "Where are you taking me?"

The Premier's limousine was across the street, Curtis had seen this girl walking by and knew he wanted her, he'd sent two of his bodyguards to go get her and bring her to him so that he could talk with her.

One of the guards answered, "The Premier wants an audience with you..."

She nodded. "Thank you- I'm eager to meet with him."

They led her over to his limousine and opened the door for him, Curtis was sitting inside, relaxing with a cigar and a glass of brandy. After she got in, the guards shut the door and climbed into the middle section where they always sat. The limousine slowly started to pull away. Curtis smiled at Yuna, looking her up and down, staring at her long legs for a few seconds, "Greetings ma'am, do you know who I am?"

Yuna cheerfully replied, "Yes, Premier Curtis Fabus of Mississippi."

He smiled, "I'm afraid I don't know your name though..."

She smiled, and reached to shake his hand, "Yuna Alessandri, deputy Secretary of the Democratic Students' Union- opposition group to the Sevarisian Democratic Republic."

Curtis warmly shook her hand, "Ah, Yuna, what a lovely and beautiful name, fitting for such a lovely and beautiful young lady as yourself."

She blushed. "Thank you, sir. So, what do you wish to discuss?"

Curtis shrugged, "Oh, I was just wondering if you'd like to join me for dinner perhaps, it's not often I get to share the company of women who have something to say worth listening to..."

He added, "And I'm certain we could discuss much about politics and I'd love to listen to you tell me about Sevarin current issues."

"That would be appreciated- We are looking for people to help, and I'd love to join you for dinner."

He nodded his head, "Have you seen my new estate, well sort of new, it was built after the war ended, it took a little over a year about. Stalingrad is the name, you'll love it."

"I'm certain..they mentioned it in my design class- told us it was a great example of 'capitalist excess'. They're commies anyway, can't appreciate great architecture if they fell over it."

Curtis nodded, "Exactly, I know just what you mean... Anyway, we're going to be taking a helicopter there, it's much quicker..." As he was talking, the limousine drove up the back ramp into a specially designed helicopter and began the flight to Stalingrad.

Curtis moved a bit closer to Yuna, , "So, Ms. Alessandri, tell me, what is daily life like in Sevaris?"

He quickly added, "And yes, I know you're not originally from Sevaris, your accent and your name, they are..." He made it seem he was trying to think, but he already knew the answer since he spoke the language and knew the accents, "Romanian..."

Yuna was surprised. "Very good, Mr. Fabus?" She then said in Romanian, "You speak the language, too?"

He replied in Romanian, "Yes of course, a good friend of mine was the leader of Romania, I had to know the language to speak with him."

"Was it Ceausescu?"

He nodded his head, "Yes. He wasn't a real communist, well not after we got to speaking and corresponded over years, he sided with me, he tried to remove his country from the anti-Mississippian forces in 1984, but the Soviets toppled him and put a puppet in his place, he later got back into power, and that is when his moderate socialist regime started... It's too bad he died a while ago, sad."

"He was a real bastard," she muttered. "I have nothing but contempt for the man."

"Anyway, to answer your original question, life is alright." she said. She felt a bit nervous sitting next to Curtis, as he was much older than she was, but she continued. "It's not all that hard- the commies are really into the welfare state- hell, they even allow limited private enterprise. However, anyone who's not a diehard commie is quickly shipped to re-education camps. We only survive because we meet under the pretense of discussing how to improve Communism- however, the government knows nothing about what goes on."

Curtis nodded, "Yes, that must be just awful, well you're welcome to stay here in Mississippi as long as you'd like..."

"It is awful, but not for long. We're planning to topple them and send them to the bowels of hell- bring back the glory days of Franco, so Alec says."

Curtis smiled, "Yes, I met Franco, did you know that?"

"Really? You must've been young.. Franco died in '75."

Curtis nodded, "Yes, I was 13 the first time I met him, I painted his portrait, I was considered the brightest boy painter of the time, I also met him again in 1974, and 1975, he helped inspire me to write my first books about the struggle against communism... I also met Balthazar Vorster, P.W. Botha and Ian Smith... I was, and still am excellent friens with Smith and Botha."

Yuna replied, "Two of the less regarded leaders in history...though, I honestly don't think Smith was all that bad, despite what school says. Textbook puts Ian Smith on the same level with Hitler and Comrade Stalin."

Curtis then added, "I also met Salazar, when I was nine years old, and I painted his portrait as well... I met many world leaders, either to paint their portraits, or later on to discuss politics." He then commented on what she'd just said, "Yes, it's awful how they politicize education, we try not to do that."

She corrected herself, "Erm, I mean...Stalin. Yes. Anyway, I heard you teach everyone to be ideal nazi- this is true, no?"

Curtis smiled, "Yuna, do you remember the 1990 nuclear attack by Al-Qaeda against the New United States capital, the old Washington D.C. renamed Ariel Sharon City after the Likud Party took over Israel in 1973 and then assumed total control of the New USA in 1986... Well do you know of what I mean, yes?"

"Yes..Alec talked about that sometimes- He lived near D.C. when he lived in USA- it upset him."

Curtis grinned, "Well it's not well-known, but I signed the secret orders to hand that atomic bomb over to Al-Qaeda... The New USA, well that is Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, the Carolinas, Georgia, Flordia, and the New England states, had to be crippled, so Ariel Sharon City had to be destroyed... It was decent as Washington D.C. in the 40s and 50s, my father spoke of it, how safe and clean it was... But anyway, my friend in Al-Qaeda, a man named Osama Bin Laden, whom I fought alongside in Afghanistan in the early 80s, needed my help to smash Jewish power. So I helped him."

Yuna then remembered something, "Yes, Maryland..that's what Alec talks about...that's where we keep much of our equipment and cash- that the base for our revolt."

Curtis smiled, "Well, anyway, after Mississippi took over Tennessee, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and we launched nuclear attacks against New England, the New USA was nothing more than a shattered jewish dream to reassert their control over us... And after the 1990 war of the Great Muslim Coalition against Israel, when Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria, invaded Israel and destroyed it, we never had to worry about Jewish power harming us in Mississippi directly, again."

Yuna was a tad puzzled. "Mr. Fabus, can I ask you a question?"

Curtis smiled, "Yes, certainly, but you may call me Curtis..."

Yuna smiled back, "Thank you. Curtis, I was wondering- why do you hate Jews so much?"

"I mean, Sevaris, for all its problems, doesn't care about race- one of the few things I agree with government on."

Curtis shook his head and sighed, "My sister, Mary, she is a few years older than I, in 1976, shortly after the collapse of the USA, she was raped by two blacks, a jewish judge let them walk even though they basically admitted to doing it, they left the court room bragging to reporters, "We done gets off, guilty as hell, free as a bird", I shot both of them down, killed them where they stood, and then I was charged and convicted...."

Yuna was shocked. She thought that Americans as a people were better than that. "A shame...I can't blame you for killing them, though."

He shook his head and shuddered, "You had to have lived through it, from 1976 to 1984, to see what they did to us, what they tried to do to us, they were behind the marxist party, the anti-white movements, the race agitation of negroes, it was awful... People disappeared in the middle of the night..."

"Sounds just like Sevaris today--and Romania of 1980s.."

Curtis smiled, "They gave me a choice of either jail or joining a newly created white only parachute unit, for the most dangerous missions, I decided to go with the parachute option, and I entered officer training, the rest is history."

"Ah...tell me, how soon did Mississippi recover from the 1984 war?"

Curtis shrugged, "We started rebuilding immediately, after communism collapsed in the USSR we helped them rebuild from the damage our nuclear attacks caused... South Africa and Argentina helped Mississippi a great deal, we might not have made it without them... Anyway, by the middle of 1986 we were back on our feet, by 1988 we were considered the greatest power in North America, militarily that is."

Yuna frowned, "I simply want to know to see how soon Sevaris could..mainly because, while the people would welcome change, we don't want to go through the ten or so years that happened after the '39 war."

Curtis smiled, "Don't worry, we'll help you recover, we can send troops, aircraft, tanks, ships, to help get the war over quicker, and then we'll allocate say one or two hundred billion to help you rebuild infrastructure after the war."

Yuna was elated. "Alec will be glad to hear that. Speaking of which, have you met him before?"

Curtis shook his head, "No, I haven't met much of anybody between 1990 and 1994... I've just started leaving my house again... Had I been up and about between 90 and 94, De Klerk would have been assassinated, the VG would have backed an AWB coup, and Apartheid would still be around... It's largely my fault it fell, I could stopped it, if only I'd not been mulling around my house for four years."

She was concerned. "What happened?"

Curtis frowned, "My wife died in 1990... I'd rather not go into that too much though."

"I understand. Loss is always painful. I know." She began to tear up.

Curtis gently put an arm around her to comfort her, "What is wrong, Yuna?"

"I'm sorry, Curtis- I just started thinking of my father. He was an officer in the army- went 'missing' in 1984. After Ceausescu fell, I found out he had been killed. I didn't know him that well, but, still--there was just so much I missed.."

Curtis remembered something, "Hmmm... What rank was he? Was he by chance a paratrooper?"

"Yes. He was- he led a regiment. Considered the finest in the Romanian Army."

Curtis nodded his head, "Mihai Sadovenau, yes?"

She was surprised. "Yes...how did you know?"

Curtis smiled, "After a battle in Mississippi in June of 1984, we captured him, he joined our side and became the leader of the Romanian Free Corps..."

Yuna anxiously asked, “Is he alive? I may sound stupid, but Ceausescu's regime was known to lie about dead.."

Curtis nodded, "Yes, he is alive."

She was glad. "That's good. At least I finally know now."

Curtis smiled, gently patting her back, "You can see him if you'd like... He's living under an assumed name in north eastern Mississippi."

She shook her head, "That's alright, family reunions can wait, Curtis. There's other things to attend to now."

"Tell me, when you guys found Pact soldiers- did you find any files about something codenamed Project Valkyrie?"

They finally arrived above Stalingrad, Yuna could see through the limousine windows and the helicopter windows, it was massive, the main mansion wasn't even visible yet, just a dot in the distance, Curtis smiled, "We're on the edge of the estate, the mansion is about twenty miles deep into the estate, right on the center... I own all land for twenty miles in any direction from the main mansion...”

He then answered her question, “And yes, I found information on the Project, why do you ask?"

"You know what that was exactly, yes? I'm the last surviving part of it."

He shrugged, "I don't know much about it, but I know a man who would... Dr. Baldur Von Schacht, have you heard of him?"

"Yes..your leading geneticist. I found tons of files on him..in the same office where I found info about my true past."

Curtis smiled and whispered to her, "Don't tell anybody, but Schacht has cured HIV/AIDs, he's had the cure since 1991..."

Yuna nodded and smiled, "Interesting. Anyway, that project I mentioned, it was a crazy plan that the Soviets and the Warsaw Pact created... To breed genetically modified women- to be an example of the model socialist. We were supposed to take over our respective nations when the leaders died."

She then continued, "However, the collapse of the USSR and the Soviet bloc prevented that- I'm the last one alive from that project. I was just wondering if you guys had tried something like that."

Curtis nodded his head, "Yes, we... Well have some modified citizens, most of our soldiers are enhanced, as am I."

"Interesting. I was just curious- see if you guys had picked up on it as well."

Yuna looked out the window, and saw the mansion at Stalingrad. She was amazed. "Wow..you really pulled out all the stops here, eh?"

He smiled, "So, you like it, eh?"

"Yeah..certainly bigger than anything I've seen," she commented.

Curtis chuckled, "Yes, quite large, I've been called decadent for building it, but I often have lots of guest..." He grinned, "Or one or two very important guests, such as yourself..."

Yuna nodded, "Yes..you're so kind, Curtis."

Curtis smiled, "I've said nothing that isn't true..."

Yuna was touched. "I've heard you are a...how do you put it in English...bastard. Yes- but I don't think that's true- you seem to be a nice man."

Curtis laughed a bit, "Ah, bastard, not really, my mother and father were married under common law..."

"No, no..in the sense of a bad, heartless man- like Ceausescu or Stalin."

Curtis shook his head, "No, not at all, I've donated over a trillion dollars to charity since I've come to power, and I've personally helped those in need. We have to help our kind you know, because if we don't, well we can't expect Africans and Jews to want to help whites improve their situation."

Curtis opened the door of the limo and stepped out, he held it for Yuna to exit.

Yuna walked out, and thanked him. She gazed in awe out the building. "Must be at least ten stories.."

He stifled a laugh, "No... Not that large, six stories, each about two hundred thousand square feet, then there is a bunker beneath the mansion, four floors there, each fifty thousand square feet."

"Impressive, indeed. Certainly bigger than my apartment," she chuckled.

He smiled as they walked towards the mansion, he then asked, "What would you like to do today, there is much to be done, a private zoo, theatre, shooting ranges."

She was excited. "Shooting ranges? I'm dying for a chance to get out on the range...haven't been out in weeks!"

He blushed a bit, "Ah... I love a woman who knows how to handle a gun." He then added, "You should see how my boys shoot, they're coming along nicely, bull’s-eye after bull’s-eye."

"You have kids, she asked. "How old are they?"

Curtis smiled, "Well the oldest is George, he is 14, then Eleanor is 13, Henry is 12, Roger is 11, Victoria is 10, and William is 9."

She nodded. "Yeah..getting to being teenagers, I see. That tends to be the wildest age." She then chuckled, "Hell, I've already been expelled twice from school."

Curtis chuckled, "I always got sent to the principals office in school, of course she always let me go, usually after a good spanking..." He grinned, "Sometimes she even had me spank her... Ah school..."

Yuna grinned, "I can just imagine.."

Curtis smiled, "I held a record for my school, I ran the mile in four minutes, twelve and one fifth seconds."

"I made a record as well- I brought down the school's computer network in three minutes."

Curtis smiled, "Great... Did you know I was voted most likely to overthrow the government? I also was the top marksman on the school rifle team, I won the outstanding history student award, before my senior that is, because in my senior year, the marxists were in power and politicized history, they told us a slave of Thomas Jefferson really wrote the declaration of independence, it was awful."

He added, "I also won the foreign languages award, being the only student who spoke more than two languages, I spoke twenty... I also won the School Model Diplomat Club award..."

Yuna couldn't help but laugh. "That's silly- Even I know Jefferson wrote the Declaration..damn commies. And they had an award for overthrowing the government?"

He then continued, "I had most community service hours, and I was voted the most controversial student..."

Yuna frowned, "I'm currently in the running for most likely to lose my virginity before prom night. Ah..Quite frankly, I don't understand why people would think I'd lose my virginity..anyway.."

Curtis smiled, "Hmmm... So you've not lost it yet, eh? I wish I could have said the same thing when I was your age..."

Yuna was surprised. "You did?"

Curtis shook his head, "Oh by the time I was fifteen, yeah..."

As they were walking inside, he elaborated, "You see as genetically enhanced as I was, I was basically biologically eighteen or nineteen at age fifteen..."

"Interesting- how come you got modified?"

He smiled, "My father was the deposed prince of Neshoba County, rightful heir to the throne of Mississippi, he wanted an heir who could be strong, swift, smart, and capable enough to restore the Fabus lineage to power."

"Ah...you had monarchy in Mississippi?"

As they moved on inside, Yuna saw the paintings he'd made, some were of world leaders, Botha, Smith, Vorster, Salazar, Franco, Galtieri, Pinochet, Banzer, and such. Some were of women, probably former lovers... The painting that stood out the most was in the center of the room, at least twenty feet tall and ten feet wide, a stunningly beautiful blonde woman, lying on a couch, of to the sides, the world seemed to be going by but not mattering, nobody cared, the focus was on the woman.

Curtis finally answered, "Yes, we had a monarchy, however briefly..."

Yuna was interested in the large painting. "Curtis, who's the woman?"

Curtis smiled, "Julia..."

Yuna inquired further, "Your wife?"

He nodded his head, "Yes."

Curtis gently took Yuna's coat for her and handed it to a servant to take away, "Shall we go get something to eat?"

She nodded, "Yes, that'd be good, thanks."

Curtis led Yuna into the dining room, where they ate such a fancy meal of pheasant that Yuna was certain it was well out of her price range, even a months salary wouldn't have afforded it.

When they were done eating, Curtis yawned a bit and asked, "Well what do you want to do now?"

"I'm not sure- what d'you want to do?"

Curtis shrugged, "Not, sure, say, do you want a drink or a cigar or something?"

"Drink would be nice- preferrably vodka."

As he was talking about drinking, his eleven year old son Roger staggered into the room, he was obviously drunk.

Curtis smiled, "Ah, Yuna, this is my son, Roger."

She got up to greet him. "Yuna Alessandri- a pleasure to meet you."

Roger smiled, and extended his hand to shake, "Roger Fabus..." he burped, "Excuse me, sorry about that..."

She shook his hand, "It's alright. It's just one of life's little moments."

Curtis chuckled a bit, "Roger, go to sleep, it's late..."

Roger nodded and walked off, as he said, "Nice to meet you Ms. Alessandri."

"You too."

Yuna turned to Curtis again.

Curtis smiled, "Kids are great."

"Curtis, I was wondering- could I bring my associate/boss/friend to see you?"

He nodded, "Yeah, sure."

She was glad. "I know Alec will be glad- we desperately need support."

Curtis smiled, "Don't worry, I'll help, all the way."

She was elated. "Could I use your phone?"

Curtis took out a cigar, "Yuna, you don't mind if I smoke, do you? The phone, it's over there, sure use it."

"Not at all- I'm used to smoke. Sometimes I do it too."

Curtis cut the cigar and then lit it up, the room quickly started to fill with smoke, but it was drawn out through a series of vents.

She walked over to the phone, and called Alec back in Madrid. After about ten minutes, she hung up.

"Alright, Alec's going to get here tommorrow- I'll be going to the airport to meet him- d'you want to come?"

Curtis shook his head, "No, no, you can stay here tonight, there is an airport here at the estate, Alec may land on it tomorrow."

She nodded, "Thank you. You've been most kind, Curtis."

Curtis smiled, "Don't mention it. Well I'm going to turn in for the night, it's pretty late. A servant will take you to one of the nicer guest rooms. Well, sleep well, good night..."

Curtis stood up to leave the room, leaving his cigar to burn out in the ashtray, but he stopped at the doorway, "Yuna, are you tired right yet?"

"Not really, however, it has been a long day- I've been up since 4:45."

Curtis nodded in acknowledgement; "I was wondering if perhaps you'd care to join me for that drink, we could have it in my room, it's quite large, you should see my room, would you care to?"

"That'd be nice," she nodded. "Vodka solves most problems, I've found."

Curtis lightly chuckled, "That's funny, I've found it also starts most problems."

He led her up to his room, she got a good look at the surrounding area as they were walking in, the hallway outside his room had at least a platoon of guards, but they were in between the support columns, out of sight and out of mind.

His room was at least one hundred feet long by fifty feet wide, and there were several smaller subsections to it.

He walked over to the bar and poured two drinks, one vodka and one brandy. He walked back over and sat on the edge of his large bed, large in the sense that it was about twenty feet wide and twenty feet long. He beckoned for Yuna to sit next to him.

She sat down next to him. "Curtis, I'm a tad concerned--are you sure this is proper? I mean, I'm only 16, after all."

Curtis played dumb, "Is what proper? What do you mean?"

She chuckled, "Never mind, then, never mind..."

Curtis smiled, "Perhaps you've got your mind on certain things and it's you who is thinking improper... But remember Yuna, nothing is improper if nobody knows..." he handed her the vodka.

"True, so true.." She sipped her vodka. "They always said I had a dirty mind."

Curtis grinned, "Well it seems you have many problems right now Yuna... You need my help with your movement, you need my help with the possible war, and you're still a virgin... I'm willing to help you with all of those, if you're willing..." He quickly drank his brandy down and set the glass aside as he moved closer to her, "Well Yuna, do you want to?"

"Curtis, the question is, why not," she smiled.

After she slow set her glass aside, he slowly wrapped his arms around her and kissed her. He then gently pulled her tighter into his arms and slid down under the covers, taking her with him, he raised a brow, "So, you've never done this before eh? Well, you're in for a good time then..."

About an hour later, they were finished, Curtis gently kissed her on the forehead and then asked, "Well Yuna, your classmates have won their vote about you, was it worth it, I mean letting them win..."

"I've been voted many things- Most well-endowed, most likely to lose virginity before prom, most likely to marry a crazy dictator, but, I've learned not to care about public opinion.."

Curtis smiled, "Ah yes, public opinion is so overrated..."

"Indeed," she nodded. "Say- when public opinion goes against you, what d'you do?"

Curtis chuckled, "Never happened really, most journalists that get the urge to speak out against me wind up disappearing, I'm not really sure where they all keep going..."

"I know the feeling," she sighed.

Curtis softly ran a hand through her hair, and then kissed her, "You were great, Yuna... Really."

She blushed, "You're too nice, Curtis.."

Curtis shook his head, "No, really... I mean it, you were great... I must have done something right also." He chuckled at that part and then added, "Because I think the guards three floors up probably heard you..."

He kissed her again.

She chuckled, "They always said I was loud..."

Curtis grinned, "Yes, and I must agree..."

Curtis yawned, "What do you say we go shooting early in the morning tomorrow, before Alec gets here, then we can come back as his plane is getting in, and meet with him as long as he needs to discuss his plans, sounds good, eh?"

Yuna nodded. "Sounds great."

Curtis kissed her on the forehead, "Good then that is what we shall do. Sleep well, beautiful." He then slowly fell asleep, gently cuddling Yuna.

In the morning, Yuna woke up, Curtis was still gently holding her, he was still asleep.

Curtis then woke up shortly after she did, he smiled, "Good morning, beautiful, how'd you sleep?"

Yuna smiled, "Quite well..you?"

Curtis kissed her on the forehead, and replied, "Exceptionally well."

Yuna smiled. "That's good. Did you enjoy it?"

She added, "The sex, I mean."

Curtis nodded, "Oh yes, you were very good, exceptionally good."

Curtis grinned as he said, "We've got a while before your friends plane is due in... Let me do something for you..." With that, he slid under the covers, emerging about twenty minutes later, he smiled, "Well Yuna, enjoy that?"

She was in ecstasy, "Oh, Curtis..."

Curtis gently ran a hand through her hair, "I take that as a yes, you liked it." He said with a smile.

She smiled back, "God, yes.."

Curtis grinned, "Well I'm glad, I aim to please."

Yuna sighed in pleasure, "Indeed you do..."

Curtis then slowly sat up in bed, "Well Yuna, shall we go get ready for the day ahead?"

She sat up as well. "Yes..we should- much to be done."

Curtis kissed her for a few seconds and then leaned back, "Well, I'm going to shower, see you in a while, oh there is another show in the room across the way, you can use it if you want..."

She nodded, "Thanks."

After Curtis left, Yuna went to the other shower.

Curtis came back into the room, dressed in his Premier's uniform.

Yuna came back shortly thereafter, dressed in her normal civilian clothes, (some would argue she looked slutty, however)

"Ready when you are, Curtis."

Curtis smiled, "You look great, shall we go get something to eat then?"

Yuna quickly agreed with the idea as she was starting to get hungry, "That'd be great- I am a tad hungry."

Curtis nodded his head and led her downstairs, "Any idea what you want?"

She had to think of it. "Erm, I don't know, really- I normally have toast, to be honest. Government is not very good with getting food out to the people."

Curtis shook his head, "No, no, no, toast? You deserve so much better... Steak, eggs, bacon, ham, and sausage, how does that sound?"

"Sounds good," she replied. "To be honest, I don't know why the papers call you a heartless bastard- you're anything but."

Curtis smiled, "Thank you... I just think they are so offended by honest and good right-wing folks."

"Yes..damn liberals. Make me sick."

Curtis nodded, "Yeah, anyway, shall we go then?"

Yuna nodded back.

Curtis led Yuna to the dining room and helped her get situated in a chair, he then sat in a chair next to her.

Yuna inquired, "Curtis, I was wondering...how does your government deal with people against your regime?"

Curtis shrugged, "Various ways..."

Yuna nodded, “I was just curious- the commies are fond of just randomly shooting people, always saying they were resisting arrest- I just wondered how the far-right did it."

Curtis shook his head, "We tend to use re-education facilities and such... But our society is such that we have few if any dissenters, less than two percent of the population I believe qualify as dissenters."

"Fascinating..how d'you do it? I mean, it would seem to me that the percentage would be much greater than that."

Curtis smiled, "Years of government loyalty classes in all schools, and constant reinforcement of desired beliefs and attitudes via school, church, society and such..."

"Ah...strange, to say the least. Anyway, enough politics for now. So, tell me, what did you do before the war?"

Curtis shook his head, "Not much, I was an artist, a painter, a politician, when I was thirteen to sixteen I worked in the coal mines to support my mother and my siblings... I was a soldier for about seven years before the war..."

Yuna nodded, "Ah..I had always taken you more for the intellectual type, but, shows you what I know. For me, I work as an engine mechanic at the local airport--work on anything that flies, really, jet or prop or turboprop, I can handle it."

Curtis smiled, "You have read my books, yes? I wrote my first book when I was in high school..."

"I read most of them- almost like you've developed your own political theory."

He grinned, "Yes, Fabusism or Fabusitism..."

"It's not really all that different from Nazism, is it?"

Suddenly a servant arrived, "Premier Fabus, a visitor is here to see you, he is here early, a Mr. Mannerheim..." And then the servant left the room.

Curtis looked to Yuna, "Well, we can continue this conversation later, yes?"

"Yes." She walked over to Alec, and hugged him. She then took him to Curtis. "Curtis, this is Alec Mannerheim- the leader and general force behind our movement."

Alec reached out to shake Curtis's hand. "A pleasure to meet you, sir."

Curtis stood up and extended his hand towards Alec, "Curtis Fabus... Nice to meet you, Mr. Mannerheim, yes?"

"Yes, you know of me," he asked.

"I'm certain Yuna's told you volumes about me, but, anyway, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. I've read volumes on you- I based my movement around your National Front."

Curtis nodded, "Yeah, my intelligence services keep me appraised about all possible worthwhile foreign causes, so I know of you."

Alec nodded back, "Good, Good." He turned to Yuna, "Would you mind leaving for a bit? Business matters."

Yuna sighed, "Fine, but you never let me in on your discussions- why? I am your lieutenant, after all."

Alec chuckled, "Let's not get started into why, eh?"

Yuna rolled her eyes and left the room.

Curtis patted Alec on the shoulder, "Now then, what shall we discuss?"

"You are aware of what's going on in the People's Republic of Sevaris, yes?"

Curtis nodded his head, "Yes, fully. the SRGIO and RGIS keep me fully appraised."

"Good. Then you should know that the government is beginning to starve the masses. The situation is desperate- revolution is the only way out," Alec replied.

"You are one of the few rulers I know who would back our rebellion. That's why I've come here."

Curtis nodded again, "Okay, what sort of assistance do you need? 500 billion enough?"

Alec was elated. "That'd be great- I also would appreciate any manpower assistance you could give- There will be plenty of us to start the rebellion, yes, however, foriegn intervention would greatly aid our cause."

Curtis smiled, "I can send about fifty thousand Volunteer Guard and five hundred combat aircraft..."

"That's great as well- especially the aircraft. You see, we have the loyalty of much of the air force, but, I'm not sure what state the planes will be in."

Fabus smiled, "Yeah, I hear you there... I can relate to that, we only had about twenty Mirage F1s and thirty F-16s and a few dozen other craft in operation when we started our civil war... Aside from our few thousand C-130s..."

Mannerheim was a bit puzzled. "Then how'd you win- I mean, C-130s are all well and good, but, it's not good without fighters."

Curtis smiled, "We managed to down thirty enemy fighters for every one of ours they downed, on average..."

"That's a bit odd..how? I mean, the only reasonable way I could see that happening is if those pilots could not fly worth a damn.."

Curtis grinned, "Most of the government pilots were barely qualified to fly, let alone fly combat aircraft in combat..."

"Fascinating. However, how is that true? I mean, did the government troops actually fight?"

Curtis nodded, "Oh yes, they fought, they killed all the white civilians they got their hands on."

"But, against actual armed resistance, they didn't do a thing?"

Curtis frowned, "Oh no, they fought, just not effectively, they were only good at static defense operations, and only if we attacked in frontal assaults, all we did is flank them, hit their flanks or rear, and their lines fell to shit... The only problems we really had were from the Soviets and early on from the Eastern Bloc nations."

"Ah. Hopefully you can help us do the same thing to our communists- I know for a fact that they will fight hard. They've resurrected the Second Spanish Republic. They want to keep it that way."

Curtis shook his head, "They'll fail..."

Alec smiled, "My intention. However, we need your help. Also, on another note, you met my lieutenant, Yuna- what did she talk about with you, per chance?"

Curtis smiled, "A gentleman never tells..."

Alec chuckled, "Come now, Curtis, it's just a conversation between gentlemen- Yuna's my subordinate, and I'm responsible for her. I just want to know if she got into any trouble."

Curtis grinned, and whispered, "Well she told me she was voted most likely to lose her virginity before prom night... Which side were you betting on?"

Alec whispered back, "I honestly figured she would--she has very large, erm...assets, shall we say? She also dressed very casually- and I mean VERY. Not that I mind, of course."

Curtis smiled, "Well you'd win that bet then... I can assure you, she was a virgin before she got here, but no longer is..."

"I'm not terribly surprised- you didn't hurt her, did you?"

Curtis shook his head, "Oh no, not at all. We both rather enjoyed it..."

"That's good--she's too valuable to me and my operation to be hurt- I need her."

He then muttered to himself, "In more ways than one, anyway.."

Curtis asked, "What was that?"

"Hmm? Oh, nothing. I've got a sore throat."

Curtis nodded his head, "Well then, is that all we have to discuss for now?"

"Yes, I think so-- Yuna and I should get back home."

Curtis shook his head, "No, no, Yuna will be staying here for a while, it's much too dangerous in Spain for her, she'll be fine here."

Alec was a tad concerned. "You did clear this with her, yes?"

Curtis shrugged, "We will discuss it shortly, if she decides to leave, she can, I won't stop her. But I feel she's safest here... I'll go talk to her about that right now, okay? You wait here, yes?"

Alec nodded, "Alright. Just don't try anything funny."

Curtis smiled, "Funny, me? Like what?"

Alec chuckled, "I dunno- just don't have sex with her again- not in a hallway, anyway.”

Curtis raised a brow, "Who said we did it in a hallway..."

"I don't know with you. You strike me as someone who might do that."

Curtis shook his head, "No, no, we did it in a bed, like normal people... Anyway, you wait here, I'll be right back." With that, Curtis left the room and went into the other room where Yuna was, he shut the door and sat down, patting his lap, "Yuna, take a seat if you would like to."

Yuna appeared a bit embarrassed. She didn't want to sit on his lap, but she didn't want to offend him. She went ahead and sat. "Yes, Curtis?"

Curtis smiled as he gently kissed her, then after a few second he asked, "Yuna, how would you like to stay in Mississippi for a while? It's much safer here, and Alec will be busy in Spain readying for the upcoming revolution anyway... You can be a sort of liaison between Spain and Mississippi, how does that sound?"

She kissed him back, "That'd be good- I think I could do more good here anyway."

Curtis smiled, "Great, well let's go tell Alec the good news, shall we?"

Yuna nodded. "Yes..He'll be glad, I should think."

Curtis stood up gently lifting Yuna up as he stood up, he kissed her again, "Good, then let's go tell him."

Curtis walked back into the room Alec was in, opening the door, as he said, "Alec, great news, Yuna has decided to stay in Mississippi, she'll help coordinate your effort from here."

Alec nodded, "Good." He walked over to Yuna and whispered to her, "If anything should happen- call me- I'll get you out." Yuna nodded in acknowledgement.

Alec turned to Curtis, "Well, it's been fun, but I had better be going now."

Curtis smiled at Alec, he hated him already, his smug attitude, the way he looked at Yuna, Curtis could tell Alec wanted her, and Curtis hated competition... But Curtis forced his smile to remain as he eased Alec towards the door that led to the hallway and then the front room and thus the exit, "This way Alec, we'll get you on a plane right away..."

"Thank you. Also, I know you think I'm moving in on Yuna. Don't worry- we're just friends. You've nothing to fear from me, Curtis. Realize that."

Curtis smiled, "Okay..." maybe he had misjudged Alec, this made things different, "Well Alec, call if you ever need anything."

"Will do." Alec saluted, and left for the airfield.

Curtis turned and walked back into the mansion, over to Yuna, he lifted her up off her feet and cradled her in his arms, "Well Yuna, what now, any ideas on what you want to do?"

"Sex?"

Curtis smiled, "If that is what you want to do, I'm game..."

"I'm always game," she replied.

Curtis nodded, "Okay, but first would you mind a political discussion or if we just talked for a bit, or do you prefer to talk afterwards?"

"Doesn't matter to me- ask away."

Curtis grinned, "Well if you still have energy afterwards, we'll talk then..." With that, he took her up to his room and about two hours later, he looked over at her, nearly passed out from exhaustion, "Yuna, do you want to talk now? Tired?"

"No...not tired...still awake," she panted.

Curtis smiled and then gently kissed her as he reached over and got a bottle of a water from a nearby cooler, "Here you are..." he opened it and helped her drink,.

"Thanks. What did you want to talk about?"

Curtis shrugged, "Just wondering if you've spoken with any other world leaders yet?"

"None, really. I did speak at the UN once on the matter- but the commies then issued statements condemning me to hell- I'm not sure whether or not I was believed."

Curtis shook his head, "No, the UN is a waste of time, smartest thing we did, leaving as soon as we could in 1984... Days after our victory parade, we left the UN..."

"I know we intend to as well- Alec thinks they're all a bunch of liberal pricks."

Curtis smiled, "Yeah, the UN is a waste of time, they're just losers."

"Yes..plus, they mess up economy really bad- Alec says that if we were to stay in the UN, It'd take us decades to recover from the war. Not this time, though. We'll be back on our feet in three or five years.*

Curtis nodded, "Yeah, it took us only about two to four years to fully recover, and our war was nuclear..."

"I pray it doesn't come to that--how much of Russia did you destroy, again?"

Curtis raised a brow and concentrated on getting the numbers, "About forty percent of their civilian population, half of their military, most of Siberia, all of Volgograd, and a few other major cities... We generously spared Moscow and St. Petersburg... And after the war, we helped them rebuild, today we count Russia as a top ally."

Yuna was puzzled. "You can recover from nuclear radiation?"

Curtis smiled, "Well hell yeah, the land is usable, just like Hiroshima and Nagasaki, people moved back there within months of the bombs..."

"Ah..didn't know that. I just thought that the bombs you used were so massive that they'd poison the ground for years."

Curtis chuckled, "Perhaps, but we spared no expense helping Russia rebuild, the land was cleaned, we brought in new soil, thousands of tons of soil..."

"You could afford all of this? What's your secret- it's like Mississippi came to dominate in no time at all."

Curtis nodded and smiled simultaneously, "Yes, well we are an economic powerhouse largely do to our early possession of such advanced technology that Schacht and other genuises made."

Yuna curled up next to him, "Would you share that with us? We could put it to good use, I assure you."

Curtis smiled, "Of course."

Yuna smiled and kissed him, "An early thank-you present."

Curtis grinned, "Hmmm... I like your idea of presents... Anyway have you heard of our RG-FBA gear? Republican Guard Full Battle Armor, it covers all the vital spots on the body, it weighs eight pounds, with both front and rear plate inserted, and it can stop multiple rifle rounds... I can give forty thousand suits to your movement..."

Yuna kissed him again, "God, you're good to me.."

Curtis smiled, "Nothing you don't deserve, I want to help you and help your cause advance, you'll make a fine leader in your nation someday. I can sense it..."

"Thank you. Most people say I'm a floozy and a whore--how wrong they are, indeed."

Curtis shook his head, "No, no, don't listen to them, they're probably just jealous because they want you but can't get you..."

Yuna chuckled, "Are you a mind-reader?"

Curtis nodded, "Was that what your theory was?"

"Something to that effect."

Curtis frowned, "Really, that many people don't like you though, I find it hard to believe..."

"The communists don't like me because I'm outspoken. The girls don't like me because they're jealous of my body. The men don't like me because I can stand up to them. I can only find a few people who really understand me."

Curtis shook his head, "Ah, fuck them, what are they going to do, form some immature Anti-Yuna club? Let them sit around and bad mouth you, they're just losers with nothing better to do..."

"True, true." She cuddled up next to him again. "At least I have you."

Curtis smiled as he put his arms around her, "That's a nice thought, isn't it..." He then kissed her.

She kissed him back. "God, I love you.."

Curtis kissed her back, "Really, you mean that?"

"Yes, Curtis..oh, yes..."

Curtis smiled back, "I love you too, Yuna."

"That'd be great- see how the famed Mississippi really works."

Curtis then yawned, "Shall we go to sleep then?"

Yuna got an evil grin on her face, "Curtis, why sleep when there's so much to be done?"

She began madly kissing him.

Curtis lightly moaned as he grinned, "Hmmm.. I thought you were all tired out..."

"Being tired is nothing when passion takes over." She continued kissing him.

Curtis smiled, "I see..." He pulled her closer to him.

Yuna then slid down under the covers, emerging a short while later.

Curtis grinned at her, "That was, quite nice, thank you, Yuna."

She smiled, "Always a pleasure, Curtis."

Curtis nodded his head, "Okay, let's get some rest then, eh, tomorrow we're going to Jackson City."

Yuna nodded, and closed her eyes.

Curtis eventually drifted off to sleep, in the morning they'd go to Jackson City.
