OOC: ive not been on NS since like april, i cant remember the password for my old nation, and i want that nation back...and i cant remember who had that nation either...i gave it away(was legal at the time, may not be now...?)
Im not taking the mickey of George Bush, just my nation is corrupt...

IC: The president stepped up to the podium, coughed and listened carefully to the instructions coming from his ear piece, telling him just what exactly to say...

"Ladies and gentlmen, i would like to welcome you on behalf of my nation witha kind heart. Our nation is very young, made from the ancient nations of long ago, with technologies far ahead of our nations capabilities to build. That is why you are here. We cannot be a major power in the world at this point in time, even if we had the money we would not have the troops, or the production facilities. Therefore we would like to envolve you in the bright future that our nation holds...."

And so it went on, the president let several members of the cabinet speak and showed several presentations showing what Vast Principles could do with outside help.

The basic needs of the nation seemed to be:
Money, mainly to produce new weapons that are in the design stage, and aid in the construction of Vast Principles economy.

Also, technologies that Vast Principle does not currently ahve.
E.g. Nuclear power stations, although bombs are being designed and investigated already.

Militarily Vast Principles needs a completely new navy, and upgrade in the airforce, these including:

Submarines- attack and at a later date missiles submarines such as the ohio class.

Ships- Vast Principles is not capable of running large ships as there is not enough man power, and so therefore needs smaller ships, such as fast attack craft and frigates.

Carriers- none at this time as there is not enough man power.

Airforce- Mainly in need of modern fighters, although cheap ones, decomissioned or old harriers, tornadoes etc. Vast Principles does not need Strategic bombers as there is no need for them, however, ground attack planes are needed, as well as helicopter gunships, again older versions as we may well produce our own models at a later stage.

Land forces- Currently the main tank type is the T-55, which we are happy with for now with the modernised, 105mm main gun version. We will though be producing our own range of tanks at a later date.

The army is unfortunatly under equiped, using old versions of AK type rifles, that need upgrading(eg M-16s or Ak108s)

Also, there is only a small number of AFVs and APCs, and these need to be increased in number and modernised.

Our nation is however well supplied with good trucks as the civilian population has many good designs used on the mountanous regions of the country and desert areas also.

Unfortunatly the largest artylery weapon type is only 75mm, and ammunition for the type is no longer produced, as it was produced in small numbers by a larger nation, and was only produced by that nation.

OOC: i dont want nations to small, 50million pop at least please. No-one to large i hope, i couldnt help them very well. There will be benefits when i produce my weapon systems(they have been designed, and ive got more planned, such as an AAAV and amphibious assault craft larger han any RL model...its all on paper!!!)

If you want some info on what i have made before with my old nations that are dead please ask, i will be re-using some of those designs.

How was that RP? Still a bit rusty?

OOC: good thing it wasn't a mike, but a bullet-proof vest...

IC:
We will be happy to provide your nation with schematics for our current air-superiority fighters (F-14s, F-15s, F-16s), along with a couple of working planes should you wish it. The total cost of the three blueprints, and say, one of each fighter, comes out to about $198 million (US). For more money (approx $1 billion), we would be happy to provide you with a squadron of modified F-22s. Let us know what you want.
San Lucia

San Lucia has significant Uranium resources, along with large plutonium reserves that we would be willing to share with your nation. Engineers from San Lucia would also help with the construction of Nuclear Power plants. It would cost about 150 million USD to develop 3 working power-plants, along with a nation-wide power grid

Furthermore, we do have a surplus of 7,500 G3 and AUG infantry assault rifles that we could supply to you for the price of 5,000,000 USD.

The Federation of Aligned Planets are currently selling refined Uranium, as we have a surplus. Prices are at current market levels, reflecting a $47,000 per tonne cost.

Please TG me if you have a need.

Malkier, your offer sounds resonable to us. We would like to buy the three blueprints from you. As soon as you confirm i shall have the money sent to you.

OOC: I need to look at some proper storefronts i think to remember how to Rp this like it should be...

Bump and aslo:

San Lucia, we do not require those resources at the current time, but we thank you anyway.

OOC:
Aligned Planets, i dont know about this, but i think that if a 7million pop nation has nuclear power for sale at such a low price then NS has gone down the plughole as far as this type of RP goes...so no, i do not believe your nation could produce such items, and it may be Godmoding(unintentional though)
Cotland
29-11-2004, 19:47
The Free Land of Cotland are modernizing it's air force, and therefor have a surplus of ground attack planes (200 A-10 Thunderbolt IIs). We are willing to sell those to you for the petty sum of $8,000,000 each. That's $160,000,000. We also sell uranium, at todays going rate of $39,700 per metric ton. If you are interested, please let us know.

Cotland, thankyou for your offer, but we think that at 8million USD(i take it to be USD?) per aircraft i feel i could get a better deal for that type of plane. if you would like to offer at a cheaper price than we may consider it.

Thankyou, President Benjamin Hondrugas

OOC: Well, they are used...

IC: We may be able to lower the price to $5,000,000. Will this be acceptable?

Sirs,

In response to your recent request for arms, we can provide you with surplus infantry rifles at a vastly reduced cost. Mass production of infantry weapons coupled with a reduction in numbers of armed forces has led to millions of rifles sitting in a warehouse without any use. As such we can offer you XM-8 rifles and carbines at just $200 a rifle. We also have several surplus squadrons of F-15E Eagle fighter-bombers, more capable than early Tornado models, at a little over $4,000,000 USD per airframe.

Kind sir,
The ministery of Defence would gladly welcome your offer. We need approximatly 250,000 XM-8 rifles, at a total cost of $50 million

The VPAF would like to order in 310 F-15E's at the selling price of $124 million.

If possible then please ship Equipment immediatly. We shall send the money upon confirmation of shiping of weapons.
Daniel Rodrums, defence minister VP.

End message.

Cotland, we shall not take your offer for the aircraft as we think that the F-15s should do the job perfectly for the time being. Thankyou anyway.

OOC: cheers Shazbotdom, its quite good, but i dont like how it judges what i spend it on...my nation would not be exactly like that....so many 0%s!

The Dominion feels sorry for your loss (the larger nation) and is very glad it was not us. We will give you the sum of 1 trillion dollars towards making this nation the power the other once was.
