The Burnsian Desert
They had been sitting there for hours, trying their best to lie completely still yet remaining alert and awake. The four men were watching a small camp on the edge of Mount Karahimistan, an abandoned mining site. They had been sent there to see if the mines had yet been discovered by the insurgents, and if so, if the enemy was using them to hide weapons or keep barracks.
Down at the camp, a young soldier felt a pressure in his lower abdomen. Feeling the need to answer the call, he put down his bottle of water and headed towards the four men's hiding spot. Once out of the light of the camp, the soldier began to do his business. However, something didn't seem right to him. He looked over at a small lump in the ground, which was covered in what seemed to be grass and straw. Shrugging, as these were native flora, he cast his eyes in another direction.
Right into the barrel of a silenced pistol. He didn't live to hear the pop.
Acting quickly, three of the four men in the squad hauled the dead young man back into their small hiding place, a cave behind the ridge where they were watching the enemy. Covering the man in a standard issue blanket, They hid the boy in a corner, away from sight. Ducking down prone again, two men went back to the ridge while another replaced the camoflauge net over the enterance of the cave. Looking back, the man saw the pale face of the soldier.
And spat.
OOC: This is an invitation for anyone who was in the Han's thread to play some insurgent/terrorist/Han's-occupying forces. Jump right in. By the way, the point of this operation is to rid TBD of insurgent forces.
