A Proposed Trade Of Animal

A message from Dr. Boomhampton

Greetings.
I am the head of a scientist organisation working with the government of the Kingdom of Bob-omb and as you may or may not know, we have been seeing a dip in our population of Yoshi’s, our national animal, due to deforestation. This problem has caused our government great concern and as such we are reaching out to other nations for help.

All we ask is that some other nations introduce their animals in to the Kingdom of Bob-omb with our Yoshi’s to see if there is a possibility of cross breeding to develop a Yoshi that can survive the harsh environments of the deforestation in our lands. Of course, we are willing to make a deal so payment is not out of the question. We would like around 200 of your animals, but any number will suffice. I will be writing a report of the results found in our studies, which may be published by our Kingdom if the information is not too confidential. We are doing us to help ourselves, but if we believe it will help other nation’s then I’m sure you will find our report useful.

If you would like to help us, please give us a full physical description of the animal you wish to give us as well as anything you would like in the deal. If you make an offer, we will go over it and decide if we think the offer is fair. If we are happy with the offer then we will send you a telegram stating so as well sending whatever was agreed upon in our deal, we will then await the delivery of your animal where we will take them back to our lab and begin the process of the cross-breeding experiments.
I await your offer.

We will send you 200 cute little phoenix red fox baby cubs :)
We suggest you raise them alongside your yoshis for a while so that they will be more comfortable breeding.

We have alot of red foxes in TPM, we also raise some on farms and they are a popular delicacy.
We would only require $2,000 for the shiping and handiling and a mating pair of whatever hybrid animal you come up with.

Excellent! We will send the $2,000 right away and await the shipment of the Phoenix Red Fox. We will get to work right away, steadily introducing them to the Yoshi's and as they become more comfortable with eachother, we will wait to see if any mating happens. If they do indeed have hybrids, we will send you how ever many you like with a maximum of 100.

Friend Computer shall sell you 100 Registered Mutants for your experiments.
They're a nuisance really anyway. They look like humans, but are really filthy mutant scum, and tend to read people's minds and have telekinetic powers and spontaneously combust every so often.
Friend Computer would require $10,000 for transport, sufficiently thick lead casing, handcuffs, etc.
If this is too many or few, name your number and it'll cost somewhere around $100 postage and packaging per mutant.
We would be interested in buying back any hybrids for our own research programmes, at, say, $200 per hybrid.

We will be glad to both send you animals and set up a Yoshi reserve and breeding program in our (as yet) pristine forests. The animals we can send would be 50 breeding pairs of aardvarks, but before we can send them we do need to know what your termite population is like, as this is their staple diet.

Anyway we are ready to accept up to 10 pairs of Yoshi for the breeding project (address to Dutchy Game Reserve, Fenswick and label "protected species" please - Note this label is IMPORTANT). We can despatch the aardvarks on receipt of your confirmation of suitable food supplies.

We have a healthy termite population, we have a reserve of them in our labs for feeding purposes like this.

We thank you for your generous offer and accept it. We will begin shipping the 10 pairs of Yoshi as soon as possible and await the aadvark.

(OOC: In the original message it says I will send a telegram, that seems rather uneccessary now so I've decided not to do that.)

Friend Computer, we are afriad we have to turn down your offer as we were quite scared by the sound of your animal. The cost was slightly high, too.

In your labs? - I would urgently reccomend a full structural survey of your labs at your first opportunity - termites are heavily used by our black-market demolition industry - not quick ,but they are very good and wrecking buildings...

Anyway 50 breeding pairs of aardvarks have been despatched to:

Thank you for your concern on the matter of termites, but we have already ensured that the termites are in an area in which there is no danger to our labs. Although a structural survey is not a bad idea, as we may have overlooked certain circumstances.
We will begin the mating attempts as soon as possible. Thank you.

GREETINGS FROM XERAPH!

We have in one of our provinces an amphibious mammal, the Stroonz. It is similar to the Terran otter, with a bit of weasel and marmoset mixed in.
They are approx 3 feet in length, and can live in any environment, though they prefer temperate climates.
If you'd like, we can beam 500 of them to one of our Scientific/Expeditionary vessels and beam them back down to you when you are ready.

regards,

Sun Tza, Governor of the province of Gonad-1, Empire of Xeraph

We can send two-hundred Taldaani Bald Budgies for your efforts.

Taldaani Bald Budgie

Height: 15cm adult
Weight: 120g adult
Wingspan: 16cm adult
Habitat: Rainforest, Forest
Native to: Southern rainforests of Taldaan
Eats: Insects, berries, fruit
Natural predators: Ocelot
Peculiar habits: Has a strange tendency to attack American flags and anyone carrying or wearing them

Picture: http://www.oztoxics.org/ntn/IMAGES/budgie.jpg

We will require $1500 US for transport costs. We also require your assurance that the bald budgies will not be mistreated. Tests are alright, as long as they do not cause severe suffering to the animal.

Due to the fact that they are native to Rainforests, I'm afraid we cannot accept your offer.
Our goal is to cross breed a type of Yoshi that is capable of living outside of the rainforests. We got ourselves into this trouble by bulldozing parts of the rainforest, and are now trying to get out of it by finding a solution.
If we accepted the offer, they would probably not last long in our environment.
Thank you for the offer though.

Want some........squirrels?

We have too many anyway, even for us, our people are complaining about them eating all the food in the supermarkets. (we have laws so they can go anywhere even in peoples houses)

You just pay for the shipping and feeding them. You can have500

If I'm correct; squirells live in trees, yes?
Sorry, but we are trying to find something that can live in an area of deforestation.
