With the new war in foriegn lands the republic demanded new action be taken. They could not risk their leader being voted out of office in this time of war. With a unimous decision by the Holy Republic and approval by Cardinal Marcus, President Ruben was to be dubbed Emperor of Golencia.

Asonished with these new events, the President made a speech:
"I am now to be Crowned Emperor of Golencia by the Pope. This is an Honor for me. I must make a vow that i will never destroy the Republic, and will keep it intact making laws and restricing my power in the Holy Empire.
I will not become a power hungry leader but a leader of the people. I will never let the old ways die entirely and as Emperor i wil serve you, the people Honorably."

With that he left and moments later was walking down a hall full of Cardinals From all over the world. As President Ruben approached the Pope he knelt and lowered his head. The Pope then said: "As Pope of the Catholic Church i here by crown this loyal Jesuit Emperor of Golencia. He will serve the People, the Church and our lord God." He lowered the crown onto the Presidents head, he stood no longer as a president but as an Emperor!

The Crowd applauded and he returned home to a happy and approving People. The Presidential Estates were now the Royal Palace. The Emperor now sits in his throne and wonders if he did the right thing by accepting this offer. He asks you the International community on your thoughts.....

Chellis condemns the creation of a theocracy, a holy empire in this case. The nation would do well to become a secular, or even an atheistic nation. Its more efficient, and quite simply, more truthful. There are moral problems to deal with, but the use of propoganda works just as well as false religion. We hope to see this nation rectify their ways, and if they need it, we are willing to teach them in the ways of exterminating the religious presence in their nation.
