The Sharina Foreign Affairs Director, Abraham Lincoln, entered the Vizion Presidential Debate forum and speaks up.

"Vizion candidates, I would like to ask on three questions on the behalf of President Rand Veristek, as he cannot attend today.

First of all, I would like to ask what is each candidate's stance on education?

Second, what are each of your opinion and beliefs about the disabled community, as in what can and should be done about them?

Third and last, what do you feel about healthcare for the common and decent man?

Thank you very much for taking your time to hear me out and answer my questions. Live well."

Abraham Lincoln sat back down and awaited a response.

"Justin Vasard, MNB News. I have two questions;

First, for the opponents of President Maybury; we would like to know what each candidate's stance is on President Maybury's initiative IMF/Red Globe.

And second, for all candidates; there are a lot of, ah, people back home who would like to know each of your stances on climate change."

The way the reporter pronounced the word "people" gave the impression that he meant to say "people in very high places".

President Maybury spoke first, "Education is extremely important. It always has been, and always will be. It is one of my most important topics. When it comes to the disabled, we should help them along. And for healthcare? We should not have to tax our people to pay for a program that only becomes corrupted. We will not have healthcare, not run by the government that is."

Chiefy was a little upset over the disabled comment, and you could see it in his eyes, "Alright, I do not agree with Mr. Maybury's comment about the disabled. Yes, the disabled need help sometimes, however we shouldn't go around and treat 'them' as if they are incapable of doing things for them selves. We should strive to have them learn how to do things on their own. If they just can't, then yes, help should be given, but not until then. Education you ask? Education is just about the most important part of any country. People need to be taught, and taught well. They also need to learn an un-bias version of our government. Government should not turn education into an institution of humanoids like it does in alot of different countries. As for healthcare, the government its self should not waste tax payers money on such corrupt programs. Yes, it all starts out as a good idea, but in the end, it only turns corrupt. Besides, why should we force each person to pay for this program when our people are known to be among the most generous when it comes to helping their own people out, donating time, money, food, whatever is needed. That's how ViZionarians are, and we shouldn't force them to change."

Mr. Maka then spoke, "We need a good education system. One that teaches our people how to work, how to become successful... basicly make our people smart. The children are our future. We must help them, and education is how. It's extremely important. As for the disabled, we should offer programs for the disabled. If they can't work, we need to get them help, and hopefully get them into a position that they can work. Just because you can not walk don't mean you can not talk. We will help them that way. And why do we need healthcare? Sure, it will help the poor, but with a strong economy, the poor are those who aren't motivated enough to get a job, or jobs, to pay for insurance. And why should we waste our peoples money on them? As far as I'm concerned, they can waste their life away if they want to suck up everyone elses money!"

Mr. Mercur spoke next, "Education is the fundamental step towards our future. Without it, we have nothing. We need to make a strong education system to help these people learn. That way, we have a bright future! We must also care for those who are disabled! We must help them, offer programs for them. If we don’t, they are helpless in many situations. We must help them. The same goes for healthcare. We need to offer a healthcare system that will help those who need it. We can’t just let them die because they don’t have the money for a major surgery! We must help these people!”

Sato-San declared his position, “Education is a MUST! Everyone under the age of 18 should be required to attend their schools. Our society must pressure these children to be the best of the best. We cannot have dishonor within our education system, or we will have dishonor everywhere else. As for the disabled, they will have the drive to honor their self and their family by working to become a working member of society. We will only dishonor their family name if we help them. The same goes for healthcare. We need none of it, it only dishonors them. They can do it, and they will show us they can do it!”

Milkis had different ideas, “Education? Yes, we need education to help these children see how great this country is, and to get them into a field of work their country needs them in! That is what we need education for. Yes, education is very important! As for the disabled, we need to work with them for them to be able to work. If they absolutely cannot do anything, well, then they and their family will have to figure things out, because we wont be wasting money on a dead-end. And healthcare? Who needs it? We don’t. Our people need to work for it, and if they don’t, they get nothing.”

Mr. Malibu echoed a very similar view, “Look, our education system is to get our people into fields they would do best in, to help this great country. They need to learn of our great country and culture. They need to learn that the military needs them. As for healthcare, we won’t offer it. It only wastes money on people who don’t earn the money to do it them selves. And the disabled, if they can’t do anything, even after we help them, then we aren’t wasting money on them.”

“We need a strong education system to support our people. We can’t rely on outsiders to do our jobs!” said Joe Munson, “We must support our selves. When it comes to helping the disabled, we must do that, whatever it may cost. We can’t leave our own people without anything to do. We need to help them. The same goes for healthcare, we can’t leave our people to die! We must help them get better!”

OOC: Sry it ended up getting short and crappy at the end, but in hurry, g2g

This may seem like a weak question, but, which way do each of you wish to move ViZion along? Which faction do each of you belong to?

What are your opinions on the citizens rights to govern themselves? How much influence should the government be allowed to have on the life of the common man in the nation?
