I agree. Look where Communism got the Soviet Union. It went from being a world-superpower, with enough nuclear weapons to wipe out the human race as a whole, to the largest republic on earth that is broke and can't even handle a simple hostage situation that a regular... say British solider should have been able to handle. You get rid of people that do not agree with your policies, but one of the most basic facts of the Geneva Convention is that humans have the right to free speech. By impending on these basic civil liberties, you destroy everything that many men and women gave their lives to protect.
