Convoy Assembles (ATTN Parthia)

Roughly Seven hours after the Embargo against Parthia the cabinet, a mockery of democracy, met to discuss the issue of sending aid to Parthia. After about two hours of debate it was decided to send the largest supply convoy in Comdidia's History.

Televised Speech on C.W.N.
"People of Comdidia it has come to my attention nations have begun a Embargo on Parthia. SO your government has decided to send a large supply convoy to them and we will ask for every person and company owning Ocean Worthy ships that can be packed full of supplies to have all ships meet in the massive port city of Natis. The ships will leave roughly in the evening in one days time."
The camera cut away to a reporter reporting on the speech.

-Secret Communication to all Comdidian Navy-
All Ships are recalled Priority One to Natis for escrort duty of Supply Convoy. All fleet's and Ships are recalled Priority One
-End-

Now it was beginning Ships were beginning to amass in the city of Natis as the Comdidian Navy was regrouping and heading full steam to the same place for its little escort duty. It was being done like clockwork Large Freighters were filled up first with anything from food, medical supplies, and several were loaded with several boxes that were left unlabeled and just stored in the back of the ships hold.

(ooc somewhat of a rushed post but i wanted to set everything up for later.)

To Comdidia:

We thank your nation for their generous offers of food and medicines, along with other necessities in Parthia. As of now, food prices are beginning to increase and we were fearing a famine may hit certain areas if we could not accquire more food. The ports of Bandar-Abbas, Abadan, and Hormuz are all very good for cargo ships.

Oh yes! This will help them. This will help there trade deficit grow even larger by importing goods with little exportation. I swear, if you people are capitalist, at least know something about economies.

OOC: CL, Trade deficit's aren't a bad thing in short run periods (in fact, in short run periods they can be a GOOD thing), Trade Surpluses can be just as bad over extended periods of time, besides in NS you have little control over your trade deficits-surplusses. Remeber, most of NS haven't taken Economics as a GCSE/A-level (or whatever qualification) or even got that far yet. So you can hardly blame them, although i did tell another RWC member to go read Sloman's latest treatise on Macro-Economics recently :P

IC:

We would like to donate $10 billion to Comdidia, in order to re-emburse them for their generous gesture to our close ally of Parthia.

Finally it was ready only taking several hours to load up every single ship with close to its maximum cargo capacity. The Ships as they were finsihed being loaded left the port and waitd in the bay just outside it as the Navy arrived already in somewhat of an escort formation. The Carriers would be along the inner row of ships with mostly anti sub and air ships on their sides. The outside of the convoy would consist of all the battleships, heavy cruisers, and intercept ships.

The Supply chain, it looked like an extremely long chain leaving the bay, stretched for several miles. Sure the amount of ships being used would hurt some of the corporations but the government was nice enough to pay them a large sum of moeny for their troubles.

----

The Dictator and his cabinet of generals sat in one of the military control centers in the capital watching from sateillite and radar the large line of ships that were his.
"How long is the expected travel time?"
"At least 12 hours to get far into the ocean but it will be days before the ships return."
"Hmm a pity but i guess its the price we pay. Remind our navy to be on high alert untill they are back in our home waters."
"Of course sir."

Coded Message to Parthia
From Admiral Tim Kazak
We are unsure the exact arrial time of any of the ships but we estimate at least 16 hours before the first ships arrive at your waters. The ships that will show up first will be the faster smaller ones the large freighters and others might take a few days depending on how well their engines are kept.

There has been no threats what so ever to bloackade Parthia. The only thing that the nations are doing is not trading with him. There is a difference between EMBARGO and BLOCKADE.

ooc-Yeah but considering its almost all of Comdidia's ships being used its a good idea to protect them. And theres no doubt some people out there that would attack them just for fun. (i know i would if someone else did this.)
