Today, the Shah has announced that for the first time ever, Parthia will enjoy the freedom of expression and political opinion enjoyed in other nations. As of now, we are permitting freedom of the press to operate in a way they desire and to print what they want as long as it is not misinformative or detracts from Parthia's well being. Free dissemination of ideas will also be permitted and the freedom of petition will be allowed. All people arrested for dissent will be released as long as they did not intend to overthrow the government. We are ven considering the allowing of nonviolent, non-disruptive protesting. Though striking has been and will still be outlawed. We hope that these moves might show the international community that Parthia is not an insane state run by a bloodthirsty monarch.

We approve of Parthia's decision but Zarbia will remain an insane state ruled by a bloodthirsty dictator. :)

We will remain an absolute monarchy, but we aren't going to be arresting people because they disagree.

I commend your honorable and just decision. Now perhaps the reputation of your magnificent land will be vindicated in the eyes of the globe. My infinite respect for you, your people, and your nation has increased manifold. Long live the Shah!

The conception of free ideas, we believe is fine if you set limits, we approve of this action in some respect but would voice concerns that it could lead to Communist state inspired internal problems. However, we wish Parthia luck in the course she has chosen.

Regards,

The Guild of External Affairs,

There will be limits. We will not permit speech which is destructive to the nation or destructive to our goals. We know where to set limits.

I applaud your country's decision. My people hold such rights as the most sacred of our country's traditions, and I hope that your people will feel the same.
