Nothing was said of a blockade.

We back Parthia 100% and will help make up for whatever trade their losing becouse of this embargo. We will also back Parthia if they try to forcefully end this embargo.

My nation really doesn't care. We object to the killing of citizens, but we won't bring up an embargo and possibly start a war which is pointless when we don't have any trading going on between our two nations anyway. So we will just condemn the mass-murdering of citizens and we'll keep a close eye on this situation. :)

As founder of the World Trade Organization, we condemn this act, no matter what the circumstances. Any acts of embargos or any other anti-business threats are against the WTO charter.

The Emperial Goverment of the Alexian Empire, although having no formal relations with the Parthaians, must say that an embargo against them as result of their internal affairs seems rather foolish, and would like to point out that seeing as there is no blockade, the parthians may simply move the market to someone else, and you will end up slitting your own economies throat, whilst the Parthians will suffer no economic hurt.

Why does one nation have the right to dictate what goes on in another. The motive behind this embargo is nothing but political.

Iuthia simply doesn't want to trade with that nation, we aren't really doing much to them because we've never traded with them and probably never will. The reasoning being that we are very cautious about whom we trade with and this nation is not one of the nations we want to trade with for reasons which could very well be political... it's hard for any decision not to be political given the definition.

However we don't have to justify reasoning who we do and don't trade with. We aren't dictating what goes on in their nation, we are dictating what goes on in our nation, and it's not trading with them.

In response to all nations embargoing me, we are offering cash bonuses for companies wishing to move from their nation to our nation. You cannot win the war against a relativley self-sufficent nation.

Though not full blown communists we feel that the butchering of any group, be it anarchist, facist, capitalist, or communist, is against the rights which every man, woman, and child hold. To say that this embargo is simply political is to say that none of the members of this embargo care for life which is incredinly wrong.
