A privately-owned physics lab in Sel Appa just annouced that it has created a propulsion system that can shoot bullets, smaller than .25, at 85% the speed of light.

Sel Appan authorities are searching for the lab, and if found, they will destroy it and all of its contents.

So, you guys created a rail gun? Nice.
I'll make you a deal: My nation has no use for rail guns. If you wish, I can demonstrate why on a few asteroids. I can dispose of the weapon in a way that will guarantee no one will use it. However, I don't want the plans or any of my scientists near it.

A breif look at your post history implies that you're modern tech, or similar.

There is no unit of measure associated with '.25', but if it's anything larger than that, say, .25 microns, then what you've created is decidedly future tech - probally semi-far-future or space-tech level. If it is sub-micron, and thus modern-tech feasible, however, it's not exactly a decent weapon-candidate, and likly quite huge; think particle accelerator complex, but probally bigger.

.25 is the caliber...like .38

Then you are not talking modern tech... Sorry, but we're not going to get near c-frac weapons larger than a few particles anytime soon, let alone near-c.
