Because it is clear that there are many immitations out there, I shall post this thread. Nanakaland is a March 2003 nation resurrected at the beginning of this month. The LoD was resurrected a few weeks ago and it has recently come to my attention that immitations are out there.
The Original Legion of Defense (LoD) and Protectorate Service
On January 1, 2004 the NationStates Protectorate Service (NSPS) was founded - the first alliance of its kind, devoted only for defense. When it was found that clearly the amount of Protectors outnumbered the amount of Protectorates, the name was changed to the Legion of Defense (LoD).
