The main gun is a basic FH77B. The large rectangular box at the end of the gun is the magazine, which enables the gun to fire a full magazine, 14 rounds, in less than 45 seconds. Reloading the magazine takes around 2 minutes.

Bamse Anti air system
Containing of one Surveillance Co-ordination Centre (SCC) and two to four Missile Control Centres (MCCs).
SCC is usually a Piranha 10 x 10 armoured sensor vehicle, but any radar system can be connected to the Bamse system.
The MCCs is towed by a cross-country vehicle (Bv 206D) also carrying extra missiles for reloading. Deployment and fire preparation is made in less than 10 minutes. The missile launcher is located on the roof of the MCC, and contains four ready-to-fire missiles. Complete reloading takes less than 3 minutes.
The BAMSE missile has high acceleration and subsequently maintained high velocity, resulting in short time-of-flight, even at long ranges. The missile will maintain its high manoeuvrability right up to the range limit. The high velocity missile has a proximity fuse and an impact fuse. The warhead provides lethal effect against all types of aerial targets, from small, high velocity targets such as cruise missiles and anti-radiation missiles, to large low-speed targets such as transport aircraft.

The range of the firing radar on the MCC is 30 km.
