Arrival of the Celestial Ships- Thread Remains Unfinished

Background Info: During the arrival of the celestial ships, a group of young Kyoshikite scientists decided to study the snowy ruins of Celestia for any intriguing discovery. This operation was carried due to the accurate prediction of "The Second Contact." The prophecies, at first, were regarded as myth and fiction for it was likely the ancients created them for the sole purpose of literature. But, as the arrival of the celestial ships drew near, the ancient texts predicted many signs that were to come. When the celestial beings touched down yet the second time, every event that was foretold nearly came true. Was it coincidence or was it something else...

Part 1: The Ruins of Celestia
It was not long till the Kyoshikite party reaches the ancient city. While the nations of the world made contact with the beings, they were searching for an answer to a mysterious prophecy told centuries ago. They traveled on a small, old airship. The party brought with them essential supplies that would help them survive the rigid temperatures of the north. A man by the name of Ryan Hikawa, a young scientist and an expert swordsman, sits and waits. He talks with his colleagues on personal matters. Then, he looks out the window, only to find vast, endless groups of trees over a snowy ground. He says to himself, "Hmm...was it really worth it investigating on this? I should've just followed my friend's advice. I should've-" The airship pilot speaks, cutting him off. The pilot says, "Gentlemen, we've made it! Prepare for the landing procedure." The scientists shouted in a victorious tone. Ryan also rejoices because he's been in the airship far too long. The airship lands smoothly on the ground. The airship sinks a bit for the snow under the airship crushes. Then, the scientists get ready to go to the lost city of flight, Celestia. Ryan says confidently, "I wonder what this city has in store."

The city before them lies in ruins. Where there was once a thriving metropolis, there is now an agglomeration of weathered and time beaten buildings. The city stands on a snowy ground. In the central sect of the city stands a structure, not more than five stories. This structure was once the great intellectual hub of the city, a place where information was placed and stored. It was a scholar's paradise, it was the Grand Library. It was said that this library had an endless amount of scrolls and books. The scientists found their way into the building. The tale held true for there were many books, shelf upon shelf. Many of the books though have become brittle and thus hard to read. Ryan Hikawa browsed through some ancient text. He said to himself, "What intriguing things these are, I cannot just leave them with nature gradually destroying these things..." As he continues to browse, something catches his eye. A wooden box is seen under old texts and letters. Ryan carefully removes them. Then, he sees the box. The box has Celestian Language inscribed on it. He translates it slowly and it reads:

Ye who finds this capsule, open it for it has the research ye seek.

"Odd, thats a strange way to label a box. He carefully opens it. At first it doesn't give. After yanking a little harder the box opens. Inside are old, but well preserved papers in the Neo-Celestian Language. (the last phase of the Celestian language, before the civilization died out) He yells for his colleagues. The scientists come rushing to where Ryan found the papers. The scientists, ready to celebrate, decide to get back to the airship and set up camp. Tommorow, they will translate the message.

OOC: To the people wanting to post: Please don't post just yet. I'm going to advance the story far enough until it gets to a point where it becomes more like an RP rather than some linear story.

Early the next day, the scientists were already at work. They worked in the airship laboratory. It's a small ,compact room in the airship. It contains a fold-up table with a sealed bookshelf. There were also lockable glass cabinets and chalkboards attached to the walls. The scientists decided to work on it by dividing the work amongst themselves. Equipped with them were old translation texts and modern-day research.

Several hours have passed, only a third of the Celestian research papers have been decoded and translated. Whatever was found was written on the chalkboard. So far, it still remains much of a mystery. The scientists have managed to decode enough text to be vaguely summarized. The summary follows and reads,

Day 1 Translations:

The elemential stone (symbollium) is needed to operate the (passageway) to the (future) world. The mechanics of (the heavens) have devised a(n) (operating system) which could harness the force within. A (conversion) will take place and the element (symbollium) will radiate and produce a certain (wavelength) that will create a (mirror)...

(x) = unconfirmed word, substitute word

The scientists decided to call it a day. They would resume tommorow. During dinner, the scientists and the airpilot conversed and enjoyed themselves. They told stories and their personal experiences. Finally, they decided to hit the bed for they had to begin researching early again.
