"The fascist state of Antarcticia has Shalrirorchia by the throat, and it's your job to loosen that grip, then break that hand." General William Vedermann said, his voice barely audible above the roar of the engines of the observation aircraft.

Colonel Jason Hawke, a 40 year-old veteran of the SDF (Shalrirorchian Defense Force), nodded. "Give me the details." he grated. He had served for a very long time in a variety of roles...spy, Special Forces Ranger, and now his current role: That of a shadow operative. Even the elite Rangers did not know about the Shadows...Shalrirorchia only had a contingent of ten of them at present. They were used on the most important of missions, the missions where NO footprint could be left behind.

Vedermann did not mince words. "During their recent stay in our country, the CFRA troops apparently planted WMDs in strategic locations. They are threatening to detonate those weapons unless Shalrirorchia cedes to their demands."

Hawke's face remained neutral. "Why not disarm them?"

Vedermann snorted. "Impossible. They're set to go off in anyone tampers with them."

Hawke nodded. "What is the mission, sir?"

General Vedermann gestured to the projection screen. "We are going to deploy you via glider outside of the border of the CFRA. We unfortunately cannot go any farther ourselves, as this aircraft is not exactly stealthy. We've been maintaining constant radar surveillance over the area for a few days now, so our presence is routine. Once deployed, you will proceed to the CFRA capital, infiltrate their central command, and get us the remote triggering device or code that they can use to remotely detonate and disable the bombs."

Hawke didn't miss a beat. "What equipment will I have for the mission?"

Vedermann began by holding up a suit of....something. "Mark 3 Infiltration Armor." he said, smiling a little. "Bleeding edge technology, Hawke. This version is the Arctic Variant."

Hawke's fingers slid over the smooth, filmy surface of the suit. "What's this on the surface?" he muttered.

Verdermann smirked. "Watch." he said, and touched a small control. Suddenly, the suit became glassy...Hawke could literally see the General's uniform coat through it. "Photoreceptive skin." the General said. "It mimics the environment around it to make you act like a chameleon. If that isn't to your liking, you can override the color settings yourself...turn the whole suit black for instance. It comes with a matching hood and goggles with similar quality, if you require them. It also has a heat retention system...that both keeps you warm in the Arctic environment AND makes you difficult to pick up on thermal sensors."

"Sweet." was Hawke's reply.

The general held up a BR-55. "Modified BR-55. Does not fire bullets." he said, holding it for inspection. "Instead, it fires 2 mm frozen ice-darts of a potent neuro-toxin that remains solid at room temperature. However, upon impact with a human body, the neurotoxin vaporizes and melts, causing immediate incapacitation. It is not, however, lethal, as we wish to avoid fatalities, as usual for a Shadow op. It also has the unexpected but positive side-effect of short-term memory loss. Many of our test subjects didn't even remember being shot with the weapon."

"Excellent." said the operative.

The general went through a variety of other fascinating devices until he got to the last one, a pale blue datawafer. "And this...upload THIS into their computer system on the way out." Vedermann added.

"What is it?"

The general smirked. "A semi-sentient attack AI. Command wants to send a quiet message to the CFRA by crashing their computer networks. Big time. Good luck, Colonel."

Yet if an enemy approached, Hawke would be immediately aware of it because of the heat vision.

Hawke had spent his entire life in the military. He'd made Seargent early in his career, worked his way through sheer skill and determination. At 28 he had joined the Rangers, the toughest group of special forces Shalrirorchia could offer.

Then later, at 34, came Shadow. There came experimental drug treatments, cutting-edge training, a variety of other enhancements. Hawke was just as strong and lithe as he had been in his 20s...perhaps more. He was certainly wiser. And he would not allow failure to get in the way of his mission. Ever.

It's semi-open, actually. You can get involved on a diplomatic level, but the Special Forces action is the core of the story.

The United States of Shalrirorchia announced today that the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Armies are not going to be disbanded at present, and are in fact being brought to a higher state of readiness.

The following is a news release from the Constitutional Fascist Republic of Antarcticia:

"The Constitutional Fascist Republic of Antarcticia is currently under full military mobilization. All loyal citizens are to go about fully armed, and all are under full military jurisdiction. All are ordered to assemble as per Plan 5.

"The United States of Shalrirorchia have announced the intention of aggression against our nation. We are prepared to meet them with all the force at our disposal. The USS, in calculating their actions, have failed to consider the true tactical situation. Though they were informed of our troop-cloning program, they have ignored the 12 million genetically-geared clone-troops we have, troops who will without hesitation or evasion endure any pain to accomplish any mission we give them. In addition, their efforts are directed at seizing our 'capital' and our 'command center,' apparently being unaware of our lack of both. Our eschewing of such static facilities is shown to have been the correct decision by our founders.

"Even now, our forces are tracking the USS 'Shadow' forces. Their attempts at high-technology means of infiltration are useless, as the nearly all-day sunlight greatly aids our efforts. In addition, efforts by the USS aggressors to disrupt CFRA computer systems are not only being guarded against, but, as anyone knowledgeable of CFRA culture knows, of limited utility given our non-networking of computers, preplanning of military responses, and general dislike of computers which has kept our society from being dependent on the infernal contraptions (why couldn't they all have died in Y2K as was predicted?).

"Our An-1 fighters are on heavy patrol. We are monitoring the ice flows for gaps in our protective glaciers. Let all of us fight the Shalrirorchian aggressors. Let especially those of us who were there defending them know why we fight. Win, and the reward is yours.

"DEATH TO SHALRIRORCHIA!"

A large explosion was reported in the Shalrirorchian capital city. Besided the thousands that were killed by the blast and its direct effects, hundreds of thousands more are dead and dying from the effects of a previously unknown chemical agent spread by the bomb.

In addition, smaller nuclear explosions were reported at numerous USS military bases.

The Constitutional Fascist Republic of Antarcticia's Information Agency released the following statement:

"The peace-loving people of Antarticia have been accused by the Shalrirorchian government of planting destructive devices in their sovereign country while our forces were sent there to assist the USS in its defense against a foreign aggressor. Now some of these weapons--the origin of which have not yet been objectively assertained--have been detonated, whether by whoever planted them or because of USS actions.

Shalrirorchia's problem with the CFRA seems to have started with a change of heart on the part of the Shalrirorchian administration. As reimbursement for the expensive deployment of forces by the CFRA in defense of the USS, negotiations were underway toward trade benefits, including an offer by the USS to deliver military high technology to our Fascist republic. But the Shalrirorchian government apparently reneged on this offer, whether due to connections between top USS leaders and leading corporations or perhaps some other sinister motive of self-seeking, as now they are threatening a nation which has never attacked a neighbor and which the USS had desired as a trading partner.

"The United States of Shalrirorchia is immeasurably larger than the CFRA. It is our hope that the world community will look upon this act of international bullying by the USS and condemn it. May the USS opt to give peace a chance.

"In any case, let the people and government of the United States of Shalrirorchia be assured that if aggression against the CFRA is not abandoned immediately, they will be inviting a far greater disaster than that which has befallen them. The people of Antarcticia stand together in the face of Shalrirorchian imperialism."

A very small tactical nuclear explosion was reported in a relatively uninhabited area of the Antarctic continent. The CFRA Information Agency released the following statement:

"Antarctician security posts detected a Shalrirorchian observation craft approaching CFRA territory. It released a glider just seconds before an An-1 fighter destroyed the plane, killing all on board. The glider was silently tracked to its landing just outside the New Schwabenland region. It was hit soon after landing by a tactical nuclear missile fired from the same flight of An-1s.

"The CFRA Military Coordination command is taking no chances, but the likelihood of anyone from that glider surviving both the blast and the radiation is highly remote. A 1000 Ante "dead or alive" reward is in place for the capture or finding of any survivors."

Yes came the reply, because of recent events we were already on high alert and can strike in 24 hours all key points have been identiified it's a little decentrilized but all point can be hit within 20 minutes of the start of the attack.

They have already left with luck this can be adverted, if not the target will take catastrophic damage it won't eliminate there ability to mount a resistance but even with there crrent technology 70% of there forces will be lost and that will be hindered by total disruption of there comunications network.

"All Antarctician citizen ground forces: Secure in designated shelters. Use of nuclear/chemical/radiological weapons is authorized at Level 2, with Level 1 as default in event of loss of central communications.

"All air forces, save those designated in Plan 5 for continental defense: Deploy under Plan Mushroom 2. Maintain using foreign-sympathizer bases.

"Let us all stand together and win. We withstood Highjump. We will withstand Screaming Eagle."

Massive anti-war demonstrations are occurring throughout the United States of Shalrirorchia and allied countries, protesting what the participants believe is a war of aggression against the peaceful continent of Antarctica:

"Why does the President want to send our children to die there? The CFRA has only helped us," one Shalrirorchian protester stated.

When asked about the reports of buried bombs and the recent catastrophic detonations, the protester said: "What proof do we have the Antarcticians did it? And why would they? The President even agreed to give them war technology. Some man of peace he is! What other deals has this President cut with them?"

The protests are growing worldwide.

In a press conference, a spokesman for the United Concerned Scientists of the World expressed concern over the potential heavy use of large nuclear weapons on the Antarctic continent.

"This is not just about Antarctica or the CFRA," the spokeman stated, "It is about the entire planet. Large nuclear detonations in the region would result in further damage to the ozone layer, but also heavy meltage of the Antarctic ice, much like the global warming phenomenon. Such meltage would raise the sea level of the world's oceans tremendously, flooding coastal areas around the world. Nuclear detonations anywhere are of concern, of course, but large detonations, such as those which would likely be required to eliminate CFRA underground bases, in the Antarctic region would be utterly catastrophic to both sides, and the entire world."

Controversial filmmaker Michaelan Moorai has weighed his large self into the debate over the ongoing hostilities.

"This failure of a President needs a war," he stated. "After his trumped-up claim of a threat from Rudolfensia failed to produce one, he turned on an ally which he had promised to give military aid to. He is afraid to face his constituency on his record, which is one of failure and corruption, with links to companies interested in the resources of Antarcticia, and has had to distract the people with this fictitious war."

OOC- That is not entirely fair, I am supposed to post damage reports for USS units and facilities. And I have not yet invaded Antarcticia. I will take this ball and run with it as efficiently as I can, however.

U.S.S. decontamination forces are attending to the suburbs of the capital of Shalcoria. Local damage was extreme, and government functions has been disrupted. The condition of President Tarumigan Gistarai is unknown, as the blast generated an EMP wave that has completely blacked out communications over the city. Civilian casualties are very high.

Vice-President Dean has activated the War Powers clause, and now has the authority of acting President of the U.S.S.

USS CENTRAL COMMAND, SHALCORIA

Buried deep in the heart of a mountain outside of the capital, USS Central Command, Shalrirorchia's main military nerve center, was one of the few places regarded as being absolutely secure.

Vice-President Dean would rather have been in the Defense Force headquarters in the capital itself, but the entire city had to be evacuated and checked for radioactivity first.

"What is our status?" Dean asked, sitting back and looking at the screen.

"All our military assets are in full readiness." General Sharana, the top military officer of the Defense Force, replied. "There is no measure to how fast and hard we can take it to Antarcticia."

"What about their capabilities?" Dean asked.

Defense Secretary Beregovoy grunted. "Antarcticia is a small nation with inferior technology. On the other hand, the terrain is difficult, and they have a fanatically-indoctrinated public who will fight to the death to protect the regime. Much of our standard military equipment was not designed to fight in such conditions. We will have to make FAR more extensive use of helicopters if we go in, since rolling heavy armored vehicles over the ice pack en masse might be a bad idea."

"And the nukes? You can bet your life that if we take the fight to them, they will cook off every nuke they've got here. It would probably topple our government." Dean snarled.

"We have a plan to deal with that." replied General Carlisle. "Given the distance between Morningstar and Antarcticia, they need to be using a transmitter of sorts for remote detonation. It's gotta be a pretty decently-sized facility, to reach this far."

"So?" Dean commented.

"So, sir, we pull out the DEFNET protocol and target ANY facility in Antarcticia with a transmitter that size."

In orbit above the planet were two Shalrirorchian-manufactured satellite systems:

MILSTARS was the first. It had been around for a very long time, and served as a real-time communications and intelligence-gathering system. It was invaluable to the USS.

DEFSTARS was something different. It was, in effect, an orbital weapons system. It had originally been devised as a WMD defense mechanism to disable incoming warheads. But it had been modified before deployment to serve as a bombardment platform instead.

The USS satellites rotated to bring their emitter cones to bear on Antarcticia, receiving an uplink from MILSTARS to engage. The coordinates for the Antarctician transmitter sites were fed in, confirmed, and the weapons platforms activated. The USS satellites fired a volley of focused EMP blasts down to the fascist country to try and wreck the transmitters all simultaneously at a stroke.

As added insurance, cruise missiles were then fired from the 3rd Shalrirorchian fleet, targeting the Antarctician communications arrays with triple redundancy. This would presumably give the USS time to locate and disable each nuclear device, and plan for next moves.

In response to the protests, Vice-President Dean has called for calm in the USS public, and has enacted a nationwide 10PM curfew. News stations are not being censored, however.

Theatre Command:


The United States of Shalrirorchia is preparing to deploy an invasion force to Antarcticia.

Early reports suggest that the USS may deploy a strike force of around 10 million front-line troopers, an overwhelming response to the act of nuclear terrorism unleashed by the CFRA.

The USS is cautioning the CFRA not to use NBC weaponry against Shalrirorchian troops. "The USS reserves the right to retaliate with tactical nuclear weaponry if such an atrocity is committed against our troops."

The F-20 Wraith, a hyper-advanced fighter built in part with grav coil technology "acquired" from Weyr, will feature in this battle.

Four USS Carrier Groups commanding a total of around 1000 aircraft are now launching air-superiority operations over Antarcticia to gain control of the skies.

The CFRA Information Agency reported the following:

"Missiles from Shalrirorchian aggressors have damaged or destroyed a number of locations in the CFRA. 'We hesitate to call most of these places "targets," as several of them were in fact clearly-marked civilian shelters housing babies and children too young to bear arms," a spokesman revealed. The death toll is estimated in the tens of thousands.

"'Are these clear innocents what the Shalrirorchians call, "terrorists"? One facility hit was in fact a plant for manufacturing powdered baby formula, and another manufactured pharmaceuticals. Water treatment facilities were likewise hit. Is this how such a "civilized" nation conducts its warfare?' asked a CFRA Reactionary Militia obersturmgruppenfuhrer (Chief Assault Team Leader).

"In addition, numerous power generators were disabled in the attack by an apparent bombardment by the USS from EMP-type weaponry. Though CFRA military facilities have long been protected from such weapons as a matter of course, these civilian/child shelters were susceptible. 'We never thought an enemy would target these places,' a spokesman stated. 'The shelters were suited to protect against accidental hits by conventional weaponry' Further investigation revealed that in disabling the electrical and electronics in these shelters, some of their protective systems were likewise disabled. Vents and doors were unable to be closed, and air filtration systems were crippled.

"'It seems like the Shalrirorchians wanted to kill as many kids as they could,' said one father, a civilian, with his sidearm and bolt-action Mauser-type rifle. His wife, similarly with a sidearm but slinging a 7.62mm semi-automatic carbine, was less controlled: "Those [CENSORED] killed my baby! Death to them all! If we didn't plant those bombs there, whoever did are heroes!..."

"'Let them come,' she said, after being calmed by her husband. 'I'll shoot every one of those imperialist pigs in the [CENSORED], then chop them off and feed them to the prisoners we take!' On her shirt, a uniform shirt from the pizza delivery franchise for which she worked before the war, she wore a small picture of her 6-month-old baby boy.

"Pictures released of the carnage are deleted here as too hideous to be posted on this forum. But they include children with arms dismembered, abdomens ripped open, and in one case, a pre-pubescent-age girl impaled by a fragment from a missile, the Shalrirorchian markings clearly visible. One horrific picture shows a young girl's head, upper torso and arm, severed from the rest of her body, with her hand still clutching her little doll.

"One touching photo shows an obviously battle-hardened Reactionary Guard trooper, rifle slung on his back, cradling an injured and crying pre-schooler. A small tear can be seen in his left eye as he hauls the child from a damaged shelter. 'I served my country and those we thought were our friends,' the trooper stated after delivering the child to medical personnel, his service insignia showing him to have been part of the CFRA Shalrirorchian Expeditionary Force which recently was dispatched to the USS to help defend that country. 'I left my family and home to stand for the Shalrirorchians. And now they do this?!'

"The Leader of the CFRA stated in a press conference from a secure, undisclosed location. 'Though we must continue the fight, we will devote all available resources to recovery efforts. We may never have a final tally of the dead and wounded, but...' and then he broke down into tears.

"Later, it was learned that the CFRA Leader's 10-year-old adopted daughter was among the dead.

"Supposedly, according to reports, the Shalrirorchian aggressors were said to be targeting electronic transmitters, allegedly in an attempt to prevent the CFRA from detonating the devices the USS alleges the CFRA planted in their country. And indeed, a number of such installations were hit. 'The USS might claim to be victimized by "bad intelligence," but this will not bring these innocent children back,' stated a CFRA government spokesman, obviously choked up.

"Actual military casualties from this attack--RG, RM, and citizen-militia--are estimated to number under 200, he added.

"'The USS might consider that there are other means of detonation one might conceive for the devices they claim to know exist, but which they have never produced in an identifiable form:

"'1: Agents on the ground in Shalrirorchia might set them off at close range. For instance, cloning technology might (hypothetically, of course) produce a number of 'people' capable as passing as Shalrirorchian citizens, perhaps even making them identical to actual individuals whom they replace in society.

"'2: Undersea cables, etc. With so much electronic interconnecting of the world, a simple telephone call over fiberoptic wire from anywhere might be enough.

"'3: Transmitters in areas other than those of the perpetrators. For instance, the CFRA has sympathizers in a number of countries around the world. A signal from there might work (should the CFRA actually have planted the devices).

"'How can the Shalrirorchian leadership claim to be protecting their people by this attack when so many other means exist of detonating these alleged devices?' the spokesman continued. Indeed, sources reveal that the type of bombs the Shalrirorchians allege to be facing are often equipped with 'dead man's switches,' so that if communications with the bombmaster is cut off, they might be programmed to detonate on their own. When asked about this, the spokesman replied, 'Yes. If indeed the CFRA had planted such devices in the USS, we could easily have inserted such a design. The people of Shalrirorchia had best hope that we indeed did not plant such devices.'"

The CFRA released the following statement:

"Shalrirorchian aggressors have directly attacked the peace-loving people of the Constitutional Fascist Republic of Antarcticia. Our forces are fully engaged in the defense of our Nation and State, and in avenging the brutal acts perpetrated on our people:

"- CFRA submarines, diesel-powered and old by modern standards but still seaworthy, have begun harassment and interdiction efforts against Shalrirorchian forces. U-619 and U-701 report apparently sinking two USS aircraft carriers using tactical nuclear torpedoes.

"- CFRA An-1 flying wing jet fighters are engaging encroaching USS F-20's. Numbering in the tens of thousands, we anticipate sweeping the skies of the Antarctic continent free of aggressors soon. Numerous captured Shalrirorchian pilots, even before being professionally 'interrogated,' expressed surprise at the An-1s carrying tailguns. 'We had no idea,' stated one soon after his capture. 'I lined up on one An-1 from a mile back, and then 30mm shells from his rearward-firing rail gun chopped the wings off my ship.' The An-1 is slower than the F-20, but it has far longer range and superior armament. 'We can take out a dodging and weaving fighter at 2 miles with single shots,' a CFRA pilot stated, noting that the ultra-high velocity of the rail guns made targets at such ranges effectively stationary.

A flight of four An-1s engaged a resupply convoy headed to the Antarctic theater of operations. All but one of the 15 freighters and 2 warships were reported sunk. 'I just hope the leftover ship could pick up the survivors,' a CFRA pilot said before bursting into laughter.

"- CFRA Special Weapons units have formed up, and are prepared to unleash their arsenal on any land invasion by the Shalrirorchian imperialists. [It should be noted by USS military planners that recent developments in genetic science have allowed for the production of chemical-warfare agents designed to be harmful only to those outside specified lineages. Whereas the CFRA populace, though multi-racial (Caucasian German, Italian, and Spanish mostly, with some Oriental Japanese), has experienced no immigration since its initial colonization which ended in the early 1950s, such a chemical agent could be used to render the entire continent poison to any invading force without endangering a single Antarctician life.]

"- CFRA clone-troops are activated and programmed for battle. They are genetically engineered to follow any orders given to them, even at the cost of their individual lives. No psychological-warfare methods can affect them.

"- CFRA RG, RM, and citizen-militia forces are fully mobilized. 'We will do whatever it takes,' said one obergruppenfuhrer of a citizen-militia unit during battle-ax drill. The unit's motto is, 'As brutal as we wanna be.' A unit from the Reactionary Militia which had only months before been involved in 'pursuading' some recalcitrant Antarctician youths to drop their demands for Left-wing political ideas, practiced with battle-maces. "All we did was bludgeon those [CENSORED], but the Shalrirorchians will wish they were so well treated," said one militiaman in the unit.

In addition, physically disabled citizens have been placed in positions where they can be most militarily useful. 'I used to make pizza pies,' said one 76 year old, who remembers coming to Antartica has a young Wehrmacht veteran. "Now, I'm gonna help make mince pies of the Shalrirorchians!' He now helps run a production facility manufacturing some of the most wicked small arms ammunition ever conceived--bullets with hollow cores holding corrosive acid which will disintegrate internal organs very slowly and painfully.

Females likewise are fully engaged. The Medical Corps, Communications Corps, Life-Support/Rejuvenation Corps, and base security units are all largely female. "It's that time of the month for me," one courier said. "If those [CENSORED] invade now, they're gonna face the world's biggest psycho [CENSORED] from hell!"

"-The 'Young Antarctician Corps' has been formed to give our youth a truer appreciation for our cause. Following the brutal attack on child shelters by the USS, it is acknowledged that no demographic is exempt from the aggression of the Shalrirorchians.

"- However, the CFRA Military Coordination command has rejected a call for lowering the age of arms-bearing to 12, opting to keep it at its pre-war 14 for shotguns, 15 for other longguns, and 17 for sidearms. 'We fight to protect our children, not to endanger them,' an official said. 'But of course, if a Shalrirorchian invader attempts to rape a 10 year old, and a 5 year old just happens to have a gun nearby, well, no one's gonna say anything.'


"The following is a message to the leadership of the United States of Shalrirorchia: 'We will use ANY MEANS NECESSARY to win. Either we will win or we will die. You know the dangers of using large nuclear arms in this area of the world. And people around the world are watching you. They are protesting your imperialist aggression. They will remember your barbarity, and our cause will grow.'"

OOC- I once again protest. U.S.S. losses, according to the rules of the Nationstates Forums, are my responsiblity to report. Similarly, damage from the EMP and cruise missile strikes are yours to report, which you did.

That makes some of your kills unlikely. The U.S.S. Wraith does not usually employ guns...it instead attacks at long range with missiles like any modern fighter plane. Furthermore, I have difficulty believing that a nation that eschews computer technology like you claimed earlier can build weapons that are on par with the technology of the USS. On the other hand, should probably specify more clearly the disposition of my forces.

The U.S.S. denies that the attacks were designed to inflict civilian casualties. The U.S.S., in fact, takes great pains to avoid civilian casualties wherever possible, and records of previous Shalrirorchian battles demonstrate our firm belief in preserving the lives of BOTH sides.

Shalrirorchian air assets will cover the invasion. We are deploying 10 million troops to the shores of Antarcticia as we speak with another 5 million immediate reserves available. These are fast striking motorized cavalry forces with plenty of light-vehicle and helicopter support.

The U.S.S. expects rapid and decisive victory with forces this extensive. We have calculated that we have a trained, regular soldier for every member of the Antarctician adult population and then some.

The United States of Shalrirorchia is petitioning foreign aid to rebuild Antarcticia after the war is over. The U.S.S. intends to install a democratic government and destroy the power bloc of the fascists in this country forever. We also request international peacekeeping forces to come in and supplement the occupation forces....Shalrirorchia does not want to make this a unilateral occupation.

Another salvo of cruise missiles rocketed through the icy Antarctician air, courtesy of the 3rd Fleet. The not-quite-dead Colonel Hawke saw them streak overhead, and ducked instinctively, keeping his head inside his snow shelter.

The missiles were targeted on enemy airfields, although the missiles themselves did not strike. Instead, as they passed over their targets the nose cones popped off and scattered thousands of little bombets over the airfield, hopefully destroying both the airplanes and the actual airfield in one stroke.

'Shalrirorchian Liberation Front'

U.S.S. military and police forces are conducting raids and imprisoning suspected members of the S.L.F. on terrorism charges, though they retain their right to legal counsel.

OOC- I find it ridiculous that Anatarcticia has been allowed to godmode so badly. Not only are they reporting their opponent's losses, their controlling their opponent's actions! Shalrirorchia has been good enough to put up with it till now, but this godmoding had better stop immediately!


NEW SENDAI:
It is the view of New Sendai that Shalrirorchia's actions, while a tad to the extreme, are justifiable in that Antarciticia threatened and proceeded with terroristic deeds. New Sendai is currently wrapped up in a situation with AfrikaZkorps, but all excess military and medical aide will be sent very soon.

Emperor Yamada

New Sendai has pulled it's forces from AfrikaZkorps and have brought them home to be breifed for their new mission. The National Army and Armed Civilian's Brigage of New Sendai are ready to help the U.S.S. in every way possible. We await word from the U.S.S. for direction.

The technology level in this rp is slightly above modern.

If you will notice, my postings are not narratives of events, but rather quotations from statements from IC characters. It is an IC fact that the characters are making these statements. If you wish to challenge the characters' statements, go right ahead. Deny the loss of the carriers IC if you wish. Deny the effects of the original bombs.

Also, note that I have, following your original objections, make alterations. I stated that the carriers were "apparently" sunk--no definite expression of objective fact, but rather a conclusion the "reporter" has drawn. Being personally real-world politically active, I can tell you that reporters draw ideologically-influenced conclusions all the time.

In the real world, parties on the international stage must put up with lies and innuendo from their enemies. And from your most recent posts, I suspect that Shalrirorchia is picking up on the inspiration behind my approach.

In truth, I personally have tired of this game. It made for an interesting diversion, but when parties (and both of us have done this) can make up technology or make up actions, it becomes nothing but children at play, and not a hypothetical mental exercise.

Just to close the story--much of the idea behind "Antarcticia" is based in real-world stories of secret Nazi experiments, including building bases in Artarctica. "Operation Highjump" was apparently an actual event in like 1947 where American military forces went on "training maneuvers" on the continent. Some have alleged that it was actually an effort to clear out Axis holdouts. BTW--I was going to turn the tide at the last minute in our little play by unveiling large flying saucers, which the Germans allegedly worked on in WWII.

Thus, I am ceasing with "Artarcticia" (name derived from terms like "Greater Germania," "Italia," etc., and because the program would not let me use simply "Antarctica") for the reasons above, and because the philosophy in the game is too Left-wing for me.
