The three girls were getting ready and replying to party invites.
'I hope I meet a nice man, I have had enough of Todd, he beats me' Jordenne said a tear rolling down her cheek as she applied thick black mascara
'I am sure you will' Maria smiled hugging her friend.
'I can hear a chopper, our first guest maybe?' Maria said going to open the door and walk down to the Ball Rooms reception area.

Benjamin your wish has been granted, Jordenne is ready to see you whenever you can arrive.

'see theres a nice young man from Neo Cannen, they are very nice from there, remember Ruben?' Mariette asked as Jordenne put her long fur lined cardigan on.
'Yeah' she said pouting and then moving out of the room to meet her date.

Mariette and Maria both made their way down to the Ball Room many of Serafimas nobles had turned out in force, they met several of their friends, Romany, Kalitta and Persha.

OOC: A little background info - the King has barely ever had a girlfriend, and has had no relations with a woman since he was coronated two years ago. He still mourns the death of his father and brother during the last civil war.

The helicopter set down. This was no ordinary helicopter however. This was a Cannan Condor. A luxurey cruiser helicopter normally for offical vists, but Benjimain had managed to secure this one for his speical trip out. As it set down on the tarmac, the door folded down and Benjamin steped out. A young man of 19, with a shock of blonde hair cut short but still fasionably messy. At six foot eight inches he was an impressive figure, but still his hight hid his weakness, he was not the most confident of men. He walked down the flight of stairs carefully and waited at the bottom for his date.

If you would not mind I myself would like to attend this ball on behalf of the Dumpsterdanian goverment and the Serafima Coalition Forces. If I am however, not wanted I hope you send a message as soon as possible about it.

Jordenne was walking down the steps to where she saw Benjamin, he was so handsome and tall, her small white shoes tapped lightly on the beautifully polished pine floors

She saw him turn and look at her in delight, she walked up to him
'Hello, I am Jordenne, Benjamin?' she asked in a husky irish accent.
Her HAIR (http://www.pleaseshop.com/prom_dresses/hair-piece-wigs.jpg) was beautifully tussled at the back.

Hugo's plane landed and he stepped off the runway.
He was driven to the hall and stepped inside.

Benjamin was shocked by what he saw. The most amazingly attractive of women had just come up to meet him. He had heard how Ruben had described Serifirman women but he had assumed he was exagerating. He clearly was not. He tried to cover up how shocked he was. "Benjamin Israel, pleasure to meet you Jordenne" he said and went to give her a courtious kiss on the cheek. She did so too and it made him blush very slightly "Do you want to...that is.." he tried to ask her to lead him to the ball room without much sucess and instead merely opened his link arm and smiled. Hopefully she would see what he was getting at.

she smiled sweetly and slid her slender arm through his and walked with him to the ball room.
'This ball room is magnificent' she said, looking up.
'Pure gold was melted into the paint to give it more power' she smiled kissing him on the cheek again.
The room was half full already by the time they arrived.

A single VV-32 transport raced across the countryside before its engines swivelled downwards and the craft slowed to a hover, before lightly touching down on the helipad. Before the steps had touched the ground, four members of the Royal Guard had left the helicopter, obvious bulges under their shoulders showing their weapons.

Then the King emerged. Dressed in a neatly pressed Armani suit, he stepped confidently down the steps followed by two more Guardsmen. Although shorter than the man walking towards the Ball Room, he was broader across the shoulders, an almost perfect build for a rugby prop-forward. As he walked across the pad towards the stairs, the Royal Guard fell in behind him. He turned and waved them away, seeming to argue with the obvious team leader before the man gave in and let the King walk off.

He entered the ball room, lookin around for the woman whos description matched that he had been given earlier. His hair was neatly trimmed and swept back. A slight crook in his nose was the only blemish on an otherwise handsome face. He nodded nervously to the tall Cannenese man to his right, adjusted his cuffs, and had another glance around, trying to see Mariette.

Mariette saw him enter the room, she immediately rushed to his side.
'Hi I am Mariette, you look lost!' she giggled, kissing him on the cheek.
'Did you have a nice journey here or not?' she asked.

Maria saw the new arrival and tapped up to him
'Hey there! I am Maria!' she said smiling, revealing a huge selection of ivory teeth, one with a blue diamond in it.
"Hi, i'm Hugo, but I don't care, call me whatever you want, as long as you call me."
He felt himself going red and he thought he was going to collapse. He'd had 2 hours to plan his response, and that was the best he could do? He couldn't help it, this woman was breathtaking.

'you look hot, want to take a break, dont worry about being all formal, this is just a chillout occasion' she said, holding out her hand.

The King looked up to see the most beautiful woman God could ever have made heading towards him. Her hair caught the light reflected off the beautifully carved walls, making her look almost angelic. When he realised this was his date for the evening, he was utterly stunned.

As she backed away after kissing him, he took her hand, bent down, and kissed it gently. "Mademoiselle, you truly are a vision of beauty". Still somewhat shaken, he reached inside his jacket and produced a single red rose which he promptly handed to Mariette. Holding out his arm, he simply asked "Would you care for a dance?"

Benjamin was very nervous. The ball room was huge and here he was with his arm around its bell. "Its fantastic" he said, in reference to the ballroom, "What dances will be played later?" He asked. He was tense and on edge. Not only was he with a fantasitcly beautiful women who he would never normally be seen with, but the event seemed (at least according to what he had been told and what he could see now) formal, and he always was on edge at formal events.

McLeod - 'Thankyou so much Michael' she exclaimed and grabbed his hand she started dancing perfectly to the Viennese Waltz
'I spent most of my life dancing, ballroom, latin, spanish everything' she smiled as he flung her, their lips touched for a split second.

Neo Cannen -
'Well some slow, some fast, some specialist' she smiled.
'Its when you get to see us three really get serious, we have got through to the nationals before' she smiled, stroking his face.

As their lips touched, Michael's mind flashed back two years to the girl he had loved, and then on to having to watch her die. He jolted backwards suddenly, before the image faded. "Sorry" he said, "you startled me". He wrapped an arm gently around her waist, and held her slightly closer as they danced.

Sorry, i've only ever had one girlfriend and that was years ago. I don't even have many female friends so i've kind of forgotten how to act around women. Care for a dance to start the evening?

'we hardly know eachother' she giggled as they pulled away from eachothers clasp.

"You were in dancing championships?" Benjamin asked in an enquiring tone of voice, "What were they like? I've heard they are very challenging". He eyed her form, just to see her beauty once more. She seemed slightly out of place though in her dress. She seemd more sassy than the frilly whiteness of what she was wearing.

Michael watched as she walked away, stood still in the middle of the dance floor as couple's whirled around him. His shoulders slumped, he began to look for a drink.

Neo Cannen -
'Yeah they are pretty challenging, but I cope very well under pressure' she said winking at him.
she clasped her hands hopefully, tilting her head on its side and looking up to her dates handsome face.

McLeod -
Mariette pinched his bum as she came back to him with a ice cold martini
'I am hot, wanna take a break outside?' she asked, fanning her face with her hand.

Michael looked at the woman stood before him, and he could barely stop his hands trembling. He nodded weakly, and motioned for Mariette to lead the way.

Benjamin was doing his best to shake off his shyness. Jordenne seemed to like him and he liked her, very much. So he decided to take a little more of an assertive role "Shall we have a drink" he said, and instantly his brain started hitting itself. 'Shall we have a drink' was not the most elequent of lines, not that lines mattered but he had wanted to impress her.

Jordenne let him take a sip from her martini
'I can tell you are shy from a mile off' she said.
she grabbed his hand and she took him outside of the ball room. It was freezing and Jordenne was shivering.
she couldnt resist him, she started to kiss him, her dress straps slipping.
'Oh god I am so sorry' she said pulling away looking down in shame.

McLeod -
Mariette lead the way, they went outside.
She took him to the water garden, the soft fountain trickled water, the small goldfish swam peacefully, they sat down.
'Michael, kiss me' she said.
'I can tell you are shy, you need to just go for it, all the sexual aggression or needs you have you can take them out on me' Mariette said :fluffle:

Benjamin was shocked by the suddeneness of it, but then as she was standing there, suddenly defensive, pulling her dress back into place, he walked over to her slowly and put his hand on her sholder "Dont be sorry" he said, slowly and lowered his head down to kiss her, hoping she would respond and kiss him back.

Michael was stunned. The woman had been nothing like he had expected. She was beatiful, for sure, but the thought of her in bed was almost too much. He stammered for what felt like the millionth time that evening, then something in his brain clicked, and he took her in his arms, kissing her passionately.

It was as if from a movie, she tilted her head to one side and accepted his kiss, she felt his hand on the side of her face, she carried on hoping it would never stop.

Mariette couldn't believe it either, an apparent shy man kissing her like her was, she returned the kiss, she slid her hands down to his trousers.
'We are suppose to be at the ball' she said giggling as she pulled her lips away for 2 seconds.

Benjamin held her cheek in his finger tips as he kissed her. It was soft and warm and like something he remembered once before. Time seemed to slow down just for them and they remained entranced for an eternity. When they came out of it, Benjamin looked her in the eye deeply and said "amazing"

Michael moved back, standing up suddenly. Staring straight into her bright blue eyes, lost in their beauty, he said "I'm sorry. I can't. Not right now. Can I get you a drink? On me?"

she simply smiled
'Yes' she replied
'I cannot believe you are at all shy' she giggled, putting her hands into his trouser front pocket.

Michael moved back, standing up suddenly. Staring straight into her bright blue eyes, lost in their beauty, he said "I'm sorry. I can't. Not right now. Can I get you a drink? On me?"

'whats wrong?' she asked, she cursed herself for being so plucky.
she followed him, trying to stop him.

"It's not you, its me. I've seen too much death, sorrow, and destruction in my time. For the first time in years, I have found someone who makes it painfully clear there is good in the world. I don't want to spoil it. It seems too perfect." he said, holding her hands in his.

"I am as many have described, a gentle giant" Benjamin said "Do you want to dance. I would but I am finding it hard to concentrate on all but you, so I may make a fool of myself on the dancefloor"

'I am not perfect, I am not going to die anytime soon' she smiled stroking his face.
' I know there is death and sorrow I see it too much too, but its something you have to accept, you have to be happy, nothings perfect you have to grab it by the horns' she said wiping her tear away.

'We don't have to dance if you don't want to' she said sweetly, her breath smelt minty fresh.

' I do not feel like dancing tonight, I just like talking to people' she added looking up at the bright moon, its silver presence reflected upon her face

Michael stared at her silently for a moment, then let his hand brush away the last trace of the tear. "Thankyou" he said softly, and kissed her, his arms pulling her in close.

After what seemed an age, he released her, and steered her back towards the ballroom. Squeezing her bottom gently, he said "So how about that drink?"

"I love to listen" Benjamin answered "Tell me about yourself, where you come from, your background. A kiss can tell much about a person but it is only a kiss, albeit a beuatiful expression"

she let him lead her back for a drink,
'I will have a russian vodka with ice' she said cooly, her voice seemed so refreshing.

'well I have lived in Serafima for a majority of my life, but because Harkinnen has claimed our land we have had to move to Tres Bonne, a new found nation west of Sparklemist' she said smiling

"Certainly" Michael said, trying to catch the eye of the barman. When the barman finally arrived, he ordered a double malt and a russian vodka on ice. "So, tell me more about yourself. I know nothing about you at all" he said, facing Mariette, sipping gently at his drink.

'Well I live on Tres Bonne, Serafima isnt really a nice place to be anymore' she said, sipping delicately her drink.
'I have a welsh mother and russian father' she added, putting her glass down.
'How about you' she asked over the loud music.

"Tres Bonne" Benjamin asked "Whats that like. Neo Cannen is mostly desert, but at night the sky is very clear, its so romantic. Have you ever been there?" he asked.

'I think I have' she said surprised.
'Yes Tres Bonne is almost like Italy with a tint of Amazon too, the cities are full of culture and the forests beautiful and dense' she said, gesturing her hands above her as if showing Benjamin the imaginary trees. She got a little closer to him.

Maria went to sit next to Hugh, she placed her hand on his upper thigh as the other couples danced the Viennese Waltz.
'So what are your plans for the evening' she giggled, sipping her drink.
"Oh, hi. Plans? Stay here, have a good time. I'll be leaving in 1 week. Figured i'd go around Serafima and see the sights."

Michael stepped closer so he didn't have to shout. "Well, obviously, I live in McLeodia, the Capital. I have a house miles away from the city, but I don't have time to go there anymore. My mother disappeared when I was very young, so I never really knew her. My father, the last King, died just two years ago. The rest of my close family died with him. But, hey, enough talking" he said, downing the whisky, "I'm getting another drink, then how about another dance?"

Attracting the barmans attention, Michael ordered another double Glenfiddich, which he promptly downed, before taking Mariette by the hand, and leading her back towards the dancefloor.

Mariette took his hand and he lead her to the floor, they started to sway peacefully.
'Look at all the beautiful dresses' she gasped as she looked around.
She stretched her neck up and licked his ear, she felt him shiver.
'Are you cold?' she asked.
'So what are your plans for the rest of the evening, are you going to talk to any other nations' she asked as she nestled her head in his chest.

"Oh, hi. Plans? Stay here, have a good time. I'll be leaving in 1 week. Figured i'd go around Serafima and see the sights."

'Oh right' she replied.
'I wouldnt go to Serafima its in such a bad way' she said stroking his arm caringly.
'I would stay in Sparklemist or Tres Bonne' she added, fanning her hot face.

"None of them are quite as nice as that little number you're wearing. You really do look stunning" he said, "I don't really have any plans for tonight, more than flying home later. I came to try and get away from all these international affairs, but I may chat with the Santaphraxian later. How about yourself, what do you intend to do with the night?"

'You don't have to go home tonight' she said winking, she smiled as she fiddled with his button.
'Most guests are staying at the hotel, you could' she said sounding hopeful.
'I have no plans either' she said, kissing him on the lips quickly.

Benjamin moved closer to her. He could tell how much she liked him, or at least he thought he could, he didnt like to overshoot his mark. He shuffled closer to her as they sat there watching the sky. "What was your childhood like" he asked.

'it was.....pleasant' she said looking down into her glass.
'my parent supported me then they died 2 years ago and since then I moved to Tres Bonne and I have a lovely house with a horse' she said smiling, she wanted to seduce him there and then, she was so surprised why he wasn't married or had a girlfriend, he was to die for.

"It hardly seems appropriate. We've only just met. The press would have a field day" Michael said, trying desperately not to offend her. He knew he was falling in love, and couldn't stop himself feeling like he should spend the night.

'oh ok, well please stay, even if we don't you know.....' she said sounding very downhearted.
'all the people here are as drunk as anything, half of them will regret tommorrow morning....but then again its up to you' she said wiping away a small sad tear.

'Oh right' she replied.
'I wouldnt go to Serafima its in such a bad way' she said stroking his arm caringly.
'I would stay in Sparklemist or Tres Bonne' she added, fanning her hot face.
"If you recommend it, I don't know anything about the region... perhaps you'd like to show me around?"

Michael held her close and whispered in her ear softly "Well, as you insist. Who could resist a beautiful woman like you.". He kissed the side of her neck lightly before concentrating on the dance.

He could tell she was itchy for something. In his darkest regions he hoped it was sex. He had heard how passionate Serafirman women could be from what Ruben had told him, and he longed to experiance that himself. He hoped for it but he decided to let her move on him. He didnt want to push her, if he could avoid it. "Whats your faveroite childhood memory?" he asked. He knew he was sounding a little off but he wanted to know more about her. She was so beautiful that he didnt want to let the beauty blind him to the fact that there was a person siting next to him, not just a preety face.

'Yeah that would be good' she said, feeling that the conversation wasnt going anywhere.
'so what are your plans for the night then?' she asked, trying to shift the conversation along, slowly.

'I loved going riding and doing my dancing, it was the best childhood anyone could ask for' she said smiling, she drew him in for a long kiss.

Michael held her close and whispered in her ear softly "Well, as you insist. Who could resist a beautiful woman like you.". He kissed the side of her neck lightly before concentrating on the dance.

'I do insist' she giggled as she let him hold her in the slow dance.
'Shall we go king or two singles' she asked cheekily in his ear, her hot breath making him shiver.

Michael smiled before stepping back and saying "How about the penthouse? My taxpayers have to be good for something".

The kiss was hevanly, Benjamin loved every nanosecond. As they came out of it Benjamins mouth said some words that his brain was quite shocked to hear "You dont just want to talk tonight do you" he said, more as a statement than a question. He hoped it didnt offend her that he was suggesting sex, but on the other hand he hoped she accepted.

'Now who was it 5 minutes ago who said it was a bad idea' she said, undoing the top button of her dress, revealing more of her cleavage.
'Yeah penthouse would be good' she added, sneakily tucking her two hands down his front pockets.

'I just find you irrestible' she said pulling him into her, she was under him on the bench, she heard a small ripping sound, she didnt care, she knew he loved her kissing and she wanted to see how far she could go before he stopped her.....

"I guess I've fallen for your charms" he said, winking at her, before kissing her again, and holding her tight against his chest.

'mmm' she said after kissing him, she took his hand and lead him outside again.
'Lets go now?' she asked, clicking her fingers a porter came and put her coat on and called a taxi to the hotel around......

Benjamin stood up and brushed her down, helped her up off the bench and tied up her dress where it had snapped. "Not here" he said "its too open, too my hotel room" he said.

"I'll catch you up. Need to get rid of the Guardsmen first. Don't want them bursting in suddenly do we?" he said with a cheeky smile, before slipping away into the crowd and heading back towards the helipad.

'alright' she said, following him, almost ashamed.
'I am so sorry, I am such a whore' she said looking down wiping her eyes with her shawl.

"I'll catch you up. Need to get rid of the Guardsmen first. Don't want them bursting in suddenly do we?" he said with a cheeky smile, before slipping away into the crowd and heading back towards the helipad.

'alright' she replied getting into the black limousine, she looked back and saw him go up the steps back into the hall.

'Yeah that would be good' she said, feeling that the conversation wasnt going anywhere.
'so what are your plans for the night then?' she asked, trying to shift the conversation along, slowly.
"Well, I don't know, what do you think I should do? We could go and dance if you want?"
He hoped she'd say no, but he knew that the chances were slim. He wasn't a great dancer, and he'd rather just spend some time with her.

"Your not a whore, your Seriafirman" Benjamin replied as they walked togther "I have heard how passionate Serafirmans are from my Brother. He married your queen Josephene. I hear there In Sparklimisnts now" they walked up to the room. It had a king sized bed. Benjamin was terribly glad. "I wanted to experiance this passion for myself" He said closing the door "But I never thought I would espically not one as amazing as you"

'Naaa I don't want to dance, this dress isnt flexible enough for me' she said smiling at him.
She took his hand and held it tightly.

'yes I remember Jo, she was good to me, she arranged my life basically in Tres Bonne' she said, starting to kiss him passionately and undoing his shirt.
