In a secret area of Mole Space

A Captured Seph vessels is brought to a Research station, to be disected for important information

Password accepted, the ship lands... Research would soon start into what could be found aboard this vessel...

The Imperium wishes to send a team of Inquisitors to aid in the examination of the ship and its research potential.....As an enemy of Sephrioth, the Imperium is most eager to turn his own diseased blades to his throat.

The remains of Lord pains escape pod have been scanned... he is truly dead.

Now we are moving to finish off what is left of them.

Most of the fleet is almost ready. we are preparing to head out and finish them off, we understand they are already under attack.

We just need a good hacker... and we've got lots of them.

You know they've probably shut the computer down, and are checking the ship for booby traps-it's just common sense. Your self distruct will not work. Besides, you have an invasion to worry about.

the bombs arm when the computer shuts down

You should have said that earlier. Besides, without power, how can a bomb detonate?
Sephrioth

the bombs have thier own power supply

The Chronosian Inquisitors are on their way; ETA 24 hours. We will help you to uncover the mysteries of the ship; and then turn its knowledge back onto Sephrioth. He shall burn for his transgressions..

OOC: Thanks Seph... My Crew haven't touched anything yet. If it's incrypted, we'll just take time to decode it.

IC: 'Sir, Preliminary Scans indicate Booby traps stationed Everywhere! If the ship was tampered with, we could face problems. The bombs appear to be linked to the ship's computer system.'
'Can you isolate it?'
'We need a Seph Scientists, or detailed plans of the ship to do so.'
'Can you make your own plan?'
'It will take us several weeks to do so.'

The Admiral thought. He knew that weeks would be too long to wait.

'How powerful are these bombs?'
'Unknown'
'Examine them. Maybe we can contain any explosion they may set off!'
'Sir'
Sephrioth
23-11-2004, 14:20
the ''baby'' bombs are verry weak where as the major bombs in the engine room and armoury is powerfull enough to destroy one vengance supper fortress.
Chronosia

Not the Supper Fortress! How will we we eat! :P
Moleland
23-11-2004, 14:24
OOC: Thank you Seph. How thick is the hull plating on this fortress?

IC: A quick scan later

'Admiral, we have located several bombs. Many of them are to small to be any concern. However, several are far too powerful to be allowed to explode.'
'Can the explosion be contained'
'Yes, but it will cost a lot money.'
'So be it. Get to it straight away!'
'Yes sir'

2 feet of tritanium all sepriotian veseels are armed like that.
Moleland
23-11-2004, 14:27
OOC: What's that in terms of Steel armour?
Sephrioth
23-11-2004, 14:28
100 feet
Moleland
23-11-2004, 14:31
100 feet? No way can armour be that tough! I though the armour being 2 feet thick was stupid, but come on, really?
Sephrioth
23-11-2004, 14:32
no i was joking a about 30 feet of steel.
Moleland
23-11-2004, 14:37
Thanks... Okay

IC: 'Sir, We calculated that the smaller bombs can be contained by only about 1cm thick 'cube' of Plutonium Mudium. However, the larger ones will need about 50cm thick.'

'Time, and how much dosh?'

'About a day to make the cubes, at the cost of 999,000MC.'
'You have 18 hours to complete it. GO!'

The Scientists ran down to his staff, and told them what was needed.

It would be a long night...

The Empire can have a telepath whose skill is communicating with and possessing electronic equiptment within hours.

Thanks Balrogga, However, Moleland wishes to learn how to decode stuff by ourselves. Thankyou anyway.

The Cases were completed, and placed around the bombs they intended to prevent damageing key areas of the ship.

'Prepare to reactivate systems'

Power was reset, and several loud explosions were heard throughout the ship... How much damage had been caused.
Moleland
24-11-2004, 12:59
After the smoke cleared, the fires were put out, and damage assesed.

'Many power terminals are down, put that should delay us for a few hours. The computer is fine. Already we have decoded these co-ordinates, however, we seem to have hit a brick wall after a while.'

'Hmm' The admiral read the Co-ordinates, 'Send a spy probe to these Co-ordinates. See what's there, and if any Seph ships are nearby.'

'Aye sir'

A probe was aluched, and headed at lightspeed to its destiantion.
Moleland
24-11-2004, 13:27
Information was recieved from the probe.

'Sir, we are in Seph space, near the homeworld!'

'Excellant! Prepare to send a large fleet...'
The scientist interupted, 'Sir, but so are 6 other races. they are preparing to attacks Seph. It may be wise to let them suffer the starting casualities, and help right at the end? Our pobe ahs gone unoticed so far...'

'Very well. Keep me informed!'
'Yes sir!'

Reports from the probe were in. It appeared that Seph had all but been wiped out from the whole of the galaxy. Good news. The Admirla ordered decoding itno the computer to stop, as it was no longer useful.

Repairs to the ship were completed. Preliminary tests were interesting. Scientists had detected an increase in a certain amount of spacial disturbance, when the cloaking drive was ingaged.

However, they had not been able to pin-point it yet, all be able to target a cloaked vessel. More time was needed for this to be successful...
Moleland
01-12-2004, 14:56
Progress was happening. They could now work out within 100 metres where a cloaked ship was. It just needed refining....
