In a ceremony earlier today Prime Minister Olendorf accepted Baron Horatio Walton's (http://www.aog.usma.edu/PUBS/assembly/000304/images/mccain1.jpg) resignation as Justice Minister. While the Baron indicated that his resignation was due to health and family reason, sources have told HNN that Minister Walton was forced to resign over his strong objections to the Hamptonshire First Policies.

In a rare act, Prime Minister Olendorf immediately announced the intended replacement for the departing Justice Minister. His choice of the outspoken Senator Henri Loucet, a staunchly neoconservative member of the Republic Party, is seen to show Dr. Olendorf's dedication to the full implimentation of the Hamptonshire First Policies.

At the ceremony the Prime Minister praised Baron Walton's contributions to justice over his past seven years as Justice Minister. While accepting the resignation the Prime Minister said, "Baron Walton has been a stalwart advocate for all Hamptonians. He has served his country well.

Baron Walton remarked, "We must never forget that law and order are constantly under threat. Equal protection under the law is a hallmark of modern civilization, this Government must always work to defend and protect the rights of all people."

Accepting Dr. Olendorf's nomination, Senator Loucet took the stage. "Friends, associaties, I am honor by Dr. Olendorf's decision. As your next Justice Minister I shall work with utmost vigor to enact all laws rightfully passed by the Royal Congress. It is the task of the Justice Ministry to work hand in hand with the legislative forces of our great nation.

Long Live Hamptonshire! Long live NURP!"

Aside from Senator Loucet's speech, the event tonight was subdued. The real work will begin over the coming week as the Royal Senate begins the confirmation process of Senator Loucet.
