Press Release begins, News Cameras and News-staff hustle into the area.

Mr. Ruger Duztikki, III begins to talk. He leans close and speaks solemnly.

"Today, as many nations lend us water and open our trade lines better, we come to the realization that we are still short of water, in this barren country. As a result, we can only lend our people, a QUART a day. No more no less."

He ahemed lightly, and leaned back, fixing his tie.

"So, as a result of this, we must alter our laws. Those who are caught aiding anyone in stealing or posioning or altering the water supplies or even TRAFFICKING water across borders, will be shot and their items will be sold onto those who are more needy, or put into the Tanks. Their bodies will be filtered*."

Ruger ahemed ligthly, one last time. The Camera from the local newscrew catching him sipping at a glass of water. It would be viewed as a mockery note.

"That is all. This meeting is closed."

=========================================================

Half-way across the Nation, deep within the underground area, underneath a cold Sandune, sat 18 men huddled in silence.

The leader spoke calmly, clicking off the TV.

"That bastard, he takes water away from those who NEED it the most. He's even filtering* the elderly. Those poor women and men. They never even stood a chance, we MUST do something."

He then looked to the Colonel of the team. "Assemble a Taskforce. Gather your neighbors and tell them to place on their Armor. I'll plan."

As the men scattered away, he rolled out a Map, and a marker. Marking off where the tanks were, and how the men would be assembled into Squadrons.

All that they could afford to man, would be old Hummers, and a few old Motorcylces that were long-ago outlawed due to they used too much Petrol, which used too much water to make that agent to cause Combusion.

It would be the perfect way. The ultimate way to show Ruger his place in the world, and also break the firm grasp of Regulation that they government had put forth.

*Filtering/filtered is the process of filtering the blood and the water apart, allowing them to be recylced back to Public use. So before anyone dies, their blood is filtered along with the rest of their body, sometimes it's even grinded to get everything. Oh yeah, lovely. :)

OOC: Wanna buy an iceberg? I've got lots....

OOC: Duztikki is an inland nation (though I wouldn't expect you to know that). How are you going to ship that iceberg? If Duztikki had a coastline, the government would just build a bunch of desalinization plants and get its water that way.

I should know because I'm one of the nations that sold Duztikki water. :D I have to ship it by air, though, because Duztikki doesn't have a coastline, much less a port. I would have preferred to ship the water with supertankers, but I was informed that this wasn't possible.

OOC: A nice LEO sub-orbital throw of the iceberg should work. I figure a railgun system would function.

Of course, it would destroy his nation on impact, but he'd have the water...

(/silly)

If that much fresh water is desired, I shall put serious thought into moving an iceberg from point A to point B.

OOC: I am providing the voice of the rebels.

The four motorcycles and two Hummers rolled out from their sand dune. They had scraped together enough weaponry to supply all eighteen of them. Along with them were two M49A2 tanker trucks, each capable of holding some 1,200 gallons of water with highway support or 600 gallons with non-highway support. They would be going cross country and thus have to only filled each truck up to the 600 gallon mark, a shame but a necessity.

Each M49A2 got 6 miles per gallon and had a 50 gallon tank, giving it a range of 300 miles. With a top speed of 56 mph she wasn't going to be driving very fast. In fact the convoy would be traveling at only 45 mph as the distance to the water depot was only some 40 miles away. Afterwards they would have to travel cross country some 65 miles to a checkpoint where they would offload the water.

As the trucks neared the water storage depot it was definitely up to the motorcycle riders. Each of them had an MP5 that they would use to neutralize the guards at the front gate and the two guard towers. C4 would be used to blow the gate and then the Hummers would strike in with their .50CAL machine guns. They hoped the raid would be done effectively.

At Fort Gugerr, the men were ready.

They had quickly responded to the Intel given to them, moving across the cold cement against their feet. Nighttime was setting in rapidly.

Four open-field technicians were going to make it hard, setting out Land mines and even a few Infared Cameras that could pick up to 500ft away. They were set out into unique areas.

The Water tanks would be secure. The largest ones were here, the ones that served the Royal Palaces.

They kept it locked up tightly. The guards walking around with their weaponary. Ready to take out anyone that might underestimate them. They were not up for games tonight. The Collective of these Guards would win, and SLAUGHTER these people.

The convoy approached slowly, keeping quiet and letting the motorcyclists do their thing but when the motorcycles returned, something was definitely amiss. "Gentlemen, what is it?" The Colonel demanded.

"It is more secure than a nun's panties sir!" The lead motorcyclist stated, out of breath.

"Very well. Marshall, Alan get up here." They exited the Humvee and came onto the side of Colonel Andrew. "Gentlemen, get down in the dirt low and take out the guards. Supressed all the way men!"

"Yes sir!" Both Marshall and Alan disappeared into the night as they approached the fort. They would be taking their shots from nine hundred yards away and each one of them was highly trained to do just that. Each of them was armed with a bolt-action rifle. For Marshall it was the Parker-Hale M82, a British made weapon in the .308 caliber. It had a four round internal magazine and he had plenty of bullets at his side. A suppressor fitted to the muzzle would hide the muzzle blast and make the weapon sound more like a trash can than a rifle. Alan, on the other hand, carried a Remington M40A1, also .308 caliber but rather a five round internal magazine. It too was fitted with a suppressor. Both of these men had been former snipers in the army and had been honorably discharged when their service was up. 900 yard shots were not easy but they were certainly going to allow them to do what they needed to do. Once the two towers and the gate guards were neutralized, B team and C team would move in. Both of these teams were made up of four men each.

Both Team B and Team C would ingress through the compound and neutralize the guards left and right. Any intelligence they would gather would be vital.

Once the two snipers were in position it was time to work. They were in their ghille suits and given the night darkness, they were well hidden. It would take someone tripping over them to find them and since they were also each packing an MP5 and a pistol, that was no easy task. The first two shots rang out in unison as their bullets headed straight for the guard towers. Four more double shots were made and their targets dropped to the ground. "Towers clear. Gate clear."

As one of the men that came out of the Galley, he looked at the Gate Guards. Quickly, patting a button on his shirt.

It was a Shift. They had fired on a Shift of Hours. Men running out as the Sirens blared. It was organized. Three men going down into a Tunnel and then it could be heard. Underground mortar firing postions had been activated. The rounds being loaded and a mile all around the base as a Prelimiary firing postion began. They flew up, and did a Cluster bomb pattern. Literring the area with Explosives.

Tanks came out also, Men ontop of the Tanks with M16s and Infared Goggles looking for firing snipers or even men. The Hummers quickly noticed and fired upon. These men had to move fast, or they would never make it to the Water Tanks. It had to be organized. Though, some men, inside the gates were quickly confused, Friendly Fire occuring often. Some people just weren't smart.

Still a mile away from the fort, the convoy noticed the sirens and the mortars. "It's time to go men!" The colonel immediately called back the forces and they high tailed it to the Humvees. The two snipers also picked up and ran, though they would still take pop shots as they ran further away. Their main targets were tanks, which were coming towards them rather slowly, definitely searching. They kept the distance between them and the tanks to be at least 750 yards and every few paces they stopped, crouched, and fired at the tanks, usually knocking a soldier off. Their scopes were equipped with night vision and they had paid good money for them.

When they finally reached the Humvees, they were ready. The Colonel had ordered anti-material mines, M21 ATMs at that. A dozen of them had been spread along the roadway and the convoy high tailed it across the main roadway into a bank where they were actually in a ditch but an accessible one. The eighteen men immediately disembarked from their vehicles and took up positions on the top of the ditch, five hundred yards from the mines and the roadway. They were close but still far enough away. They had brought out the big weapons too. Six M136 AT4s were ready to use against the incoming armor and tanks. Now came the wait. The snipers had done a good job luring away the tanks to the trap that had been set. They had use smoke and HE grenades as well, hoping to confuse the enemy to just one path and it had, thus far, worked.

Quickly, the Duztikki forces had realized the major error in their ways.

The Tank returning and suddenly. It was time to die, for these men that attempted to take over the Water Tanks. Time to die for those Rebels that attempted to overule the Watertanks.

Eventually, the Tanks had returned with barely anyone ontop of their Abrams.

It was a shame slightly. The Leader of the base, quickly passed out the Order. The sirens silencing themselves. They thought more quickly. A lockdown button was pressed. The gate's MagLOCK shut and activated itself, along with the Barbwire and the Explosives near the gate that would explode if it was opened unauthorized.

The tanks in their shelters quickly became harder to access. The shutters (Big heavy Kevlar Shields) slid down around them. Locking them into place and the Tanks were still full. Explosives on the otherside of the Shutters also.

The men scattered and hid. Staying low but taking up Sniper Postions where they themselves could not be easily sniped. It was a Quite operation now. Barely anyone was breathing and all of them were wearing 'TempCoats' as they liked to call them.

It made their bodies at Room Tempature, able to NOT make them be taken up by a HeatScope on a Sniper Rifle.

The Colonel called back the team to the ditch. "Gentlemen, we have a major setback. We're going to have to reformulate our entire plan. Gather around." They did and he put the map down on the ground. The pale moonlight illuminated it well. "Okay, we're going to move the vehicles to this storm drain here. This was what we were going to use as an exit if we needed it. But we're improvising. We'll get the vehicles there and then double back, it's only about two kliks. We'll double back to the fort and reformulate. Understood?" They nodded. "Very well. Let's get over there!"

They hopped back in the trucks and motorcycles and hightailed it to the storm drain. They were well out of visual range of the fort and the desert was unforgiving for visual spotting. The storm drain was two kliks away and big enough to handle the vehicles, especially the water trucks. "Alright, we're going to have to improvise here. Banak, Mehoff, Tawney stay with the trucks. The rest of you on me, double time!"

They moved quickly through the desert towards the elusive fort, which became visualized over the horizon through their NVGs. They dropped in some fifteen hundred yards from the complex and hit the deck. "Alright," Colonel Andrew wiped his brow, "Team A follow the trail around and get in through the south. There is that garbage area we talked about. Team B ingress through the sewer system. Team C on me we're going in from the west through the front gate, sort of. Team D get back into position but up on that cliff there. We have two minutes to get into position now hurry!"

All the teams double timed to their start positions. Team D took the longest, the full two minutes, to get to the top of the cliff, overlooking the fort but they were still eight hundred yards away. The foilage up here was non-existent but there were plenty of rocks for them to crouch behind and lean on. Finally the go code was given and the other three teams began their slow ingress. They had fitted suppressors to their weapons and were moving very slowly.

Atop the cliff, both Marshall and Alan made well placed shots on the soldiers below, raining down havoc. None of their shots could be seen from the suppressors and the sound was more like a tin can and it echoed everywhere, making it very difficult to hear. They reloaded frequently, making every shot count!
