Communist Louisiana
23-11-2004, 05:15
I would like to welcome and thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to be here. I am not going to waste your time so I am going to go straight to my point. Communist Louisiana does not produce naval units. There is just way too much competition in this world. We do however design ships, build prototypes to test these designs, and sell the production rights. This will be our first and probably not our last design sail. All designs put forth by CL designers are Copyrighted and are sole property of CL and the nations who buy those rights.
Now that I have gotten done with the whole regulations ordeal, let me show you what CL designers have come up.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure and honor to introduce to you the HSV-2 Transport Craft.

(I figure alot of people are like me and like to buy by looking at pics and specs)
The HSV is capable of maintaining an average speed of 35 knots or greater, loaded with 500 short tons, consisting of 350 personnel and military equipment. She has a minimum operating range of 1,100 nautical miles at 35 knots and a minimum transit range of 4,000 nautical miles at an average speed of 20 knots. Furthermore, she must be capable of 24-hour operations at slow speeds (3-10 knots) for experimentation with unmanned autonomous vehicles, and to support dedicated and emerging organic mine warfare missions.
A stern ramp capable of on/off loading directly astern or to the starboard quarter is fitted. The ramp is capable of loading/unloading a multitude of military vehicles up to and including M1A1 main battle tanks of up to 141,000 pounds. SWIFT is also fitted with a load-compensating crane capable of launch and recovery of small boats and unmanned vehicles up to 26,000 pounds while underway. The crane is capable of lifting up to 22,000 pounds to and from the flight deck. The flight deck is large enough to land helicopters as large as a Chinook.
It has a wave-piercing, aluminum-hulled, commercial catamaran with military enhancements, such as a helicopter flight deck, small boat and unmanned vehicle launch and recovery capability, and an enhanced communications suite. It features a new, modular design, which will allow the ship to be refitted to support any mission without requiring long shipyard periods.
As you can see, this ship is multifunctional. It can easily be used for civilian purposes (ferrys) with little to no modifications. Here comes the fun part. I am open for bids to buy production rights. This means once you own the production rights, you may build as many as you wish with no say so from CL designers. If we do not find the amounts offered as sufficent, we will raise them. We can sell multiple production rights if we please also. Let use now open for bids.
