New Generation of St. Ives Battle Armour

The current generation of St. Ives Battle Armour, while adequete, is not very flexible. There is the light MkIII SIBA and the heavy MkIV SIBA, with nothing in between it becomes a pain to select the proper BA for the mission at hand. As such the Imperial Army and Imperial Marine Corps, working in conjunction with the USCNE, have developed of new generation of SIBA.


MkV St. Ives Battle Armour, Light (Velites)
Height: 6.5 Feet
Weight: Roughly 100 kilograms
Armour Protection: Rated to stop all known intermediate rifle calibers
Electronic Systems:
-Multi-Spectral Soldier Heads Up Display
- Daylight, NV, IR, and UV cameras

MkVI St. Ives Battle Armour, Medium (Hastati)
Height: 6.5 Feet
Weight: Roughly 200 kilograms
Armour Protection: Rated to stop bullets up to 12.7mm

- Daylight, NV, IR, and UV cameras

MkVII St. Ives Battle Armour, Heavy (Principe)
Height: 7 Feet
Weight: Roughly 300 kilograms
Armour Protection: Rated to stop bullets up to 15mm

MkVIII St. Ives Battle Armour, Assault (Triari)
Height: 8 Feet
Weight: Roughly 400 kilograms
Armour Protection: Rated to stop bullet up to 20mm
