Project Viper
Project Viper was created with the goal of creating multiple armored weapons platforms that could be used both on foreign soil as well as in the comprehensive defense of the nation. The project has finally completed with three designs. All named after a desert viper, they are formidable vehicles designed to come to be feared on battlefields.

SOVBT-1A "Pit Viper"
Primary function: Main battle tank
Manufacturer: Sigma Octavus General Productions; Operation Viper
Power plant: AGT-1500 turbine engine
Power train: Hydrokinetic, fully automatic with four forward and two reverse gear ratios.
Propulsion: 1500 horsepower gas (multi-fuel) turbine engine

The Pit Viper was designed as the multi-purpose Battle Tank. Capable of both anti-armor and anti-infantry roles, the Pit Viper is designed to be able to hold its own if it and its crew are seperated from friendly forces. The Death Adder is was designed with one thing in mind. Maximum anti-infantry potential. Armed with three high rate-of-fire weapons, it can turn enemy infantry as well as light vehicles into a fine paste. The lighest and fastest moving of the three Viper tanks, the Death Adder can be used to strike quickly into enemy troop concentrations.
